I have grinded up the Destroyer and Cruisertrees in both fractions and are up to Kagero at tier 9 jap dd, Atago as Cruiser, Benson and New orleans. I never play Battleships or carriers because its to slow off a pace for me. But i cant remember having a fun match in a ship above tier 5-6 in any ship? Sure the Kagero has some nice torps , but you never gonna hit anything in those higher tiers because off skilled captains and a shitload off planer everywhere spotting you and youre torps in the water. And cruisers are the same, Murmansk and Cleveland are excellent ships at tier 5-6 and then you get Pensacola which is ok i guess but then New Orleans that are total crap and the Baltimore isnt very good either. I pretty much never play my high tier ships anymoore, they collect dust in the port while im having the time off my life in my Minikaze, Murmansk (which must be the best ship in the game) and my Cleveland? Is it just BBs that are fun at higher tier or what am i missing?

I read all the posts and it seems that the most off you that likes higher tier battles drive Battleships so it seems the game is a bit tilted that way. Im a pretty good DD captain but i cant really get my Kagero to work even with its good torps. I set up my torprun perfectly, go as close as my conceilment lets me, fire the torps but the ships always seems to know what is happening so they always turn in the right moment, and many times its just a big cloud off [edited]that ruines youre day and then you have to wait for 2 min for the next batch to reload, and you get spottet all the time by enemy DDs, scoutplanes or carrierplanes and they shot you to shredds. But in my Minekaze, its like a night and day difference, i can do stuff and carry the team if i need, the most efficient i can be in my Kagero is capping flags. And in my Cleveland i can put the scare in any DD, CA, CV and BB! I can burn those down in a minute if i get the right situation. And i can escort my BBs and if an enemy carrier is dumb enough to launch planes at us i will tear them down in a sec. What can New Orleans do? Its like wheeling around grandpaa in a wheelchair in comparison. Its slow, dont manouver as well, worse AA, Worse firepower, slow rof, slow gun travers. I tried to kill 3 dds attackin my BB in one match , i coulndt do crap! We both got killed, they just laughed at me. If i was in my Cleveland i know i would have killed them all and saved our BB. I mean why would i want to grind forever to get worse and worse ships that cost an arm and an leg to buy and i cant even have fun in them?! How do they reason? Ive put alot off money into this game ( about 100£, yes im an idiot, bought the Atago twice) but im not gonna put in any moore because its not worth it for me any moore, been playing for 6+ month and are probobly gonna switch over to another game soon, or just stay at tier 5-6 where i can rock tre rounds killing half the enemy team in my murmansk and getting mutible medals and credits. I just once would like to try the Shimakaze and its torps, well we will see.

Thought i was gonna be hard to get this event, jumped into my Cleveland and scored 6 kills ( not skilled , most luck ) and i got the Russian DD in the port. Have only unlocked the Rus DD and i think its amazing. Sure it got crap torps but those Guns ..... damn! Think i gonna like the tier 10 one as well. Have met the German crusier on the other team and it seems to die pretty fast. My first game, chased a couple off Battleships around the map. How do you get this picture below big and not as a thumbnail in the post?!?!

I dont know about you guys but while i have grinded up the trees and wanted to buy moore and moore expensive ships along the way i have had to sell off all my previous ships to afford them, which resulted in i got a whole bunch off retired captains in my reserv sitting on a whole lot off captainskillpoints for no good. Is it somehow possible to take advantage off those points in some way since its often the captainskills that takes a long time to achive on a ship and i have like 18-19 points in the reserve to no use? It would be nice if you could bring an old low tier captain onboard an higher tier ship as a second in command and then u could also use his old point for the ship.

I was really surprised bu Pensacola when i got it because everbody said it was a crap ship and sure at stock its not that great but fully upgraded i really rocks. I havent had moore success in any other ship then this one when u learn to use it. Cleveland was a big disepointment after the CBT nerf. And now when im looking forward towards the New Orleans all its stats seams to be worse then the Pensacola?! Is this correct or does it have some streanght?

But i dont understand why everybody seems to think Pensa i crap. If u just angle it and focus most on the cruisers and DDs i think its really great. But if N.Orleans are what u say and those rep.costs, i will start to grind the jap tree where i only reached Furutake instead. I just dont understand what Wargaming is doing?! Do they want all the players to get bored off the game or what?

So its pretty much crap! The Pensa is one off my most favorite ships. I think its really strong when u learn how to play it, dont know how many BBs i got running to the hills and it pretty much destroys anything that the CVs send youre way. And its great to get Citidelhits on other cruisers with. Wh yeven bother grinding to top tiers when they make it such a crap experiense?! I Stopped playing my Fubuki DD because its impossible to get torphits in higher tier games because all those scouting planes that spott youre torps.

Im grinding the Hatsu towards the Fubuki and im planning on using Free XP as much as i can to shorten the grind. So i won 10 off those flags that gives u 50% moore XP each round and im wondering if i should equip those on my Hatsu or if i should equip the on one off my Premium ships the Murmansk or the Atago if thats gonne give me a moore XP boost since they are Premiium ships (Murmansk knowned to be a cashmashine and all). Or is the XP gain exactly the same in both scenarios? And another thing im wondering about, how exactly do you gain XP during a round? Damage to ships is a given, but how much extra do you get to actually sink a ship? And how much do u earn for capping? Is their a chart off sorts where you can see how you are being rewarded? Because some rounds you think you ruled the seas and you get nothing and some rounds you get monster payout?! How much XP do you loose if you loose and how much extra if you win? Because their is a bonus for winning right?

Is their gonna be another Premium Destroyer in the store? You cant buy the Gremy any moore but is their gonna be another one coming to the store? Sometimes you want a premium to grind up some free XP and my favorite shipclass are Destroyers so its not so fun grinding with my Atago and my Murmansk.

Seriously, how do people do it? I just had 4 weeks vacation and i played for the better part of that time and i have reached up to half the trees in US Cruisers (just unlocked the Pepsi) and up to Mutsuki in IJN Destroyers since those two lines are pretty much the only ones I play. And i got a big hard on for getting to try the Shimakaze but im realizing that at this speed i maybe gonna get to unlock it by Christmas (if i only play Jap Destroyers here on out). Im guessing all those Youtubers who apperently already unlocked all trees have some special press accounts or something , right? Because it is impossible that they have unlocked all that from the last wipe. Is it really the meaning it is gonna be THIS fuckin hard to get somewhere in this game? Because I think the majority off the players are gonna get sick off ot after a while. I mean, i had to sell off every ship in my tree just to get the cash together to buy the next ship, so i dont currently own any ship below the ones im playing for the moment. Are they gonna change the economy back moore towards how it was in CBT? Is there any tricks to how you can speed up the grind?! (I bought both the Murmansk a.k.a the cashmashine and the Atago just to get some moore free Xp that way? Am I the only one thinking this is just a tad to hard , grinding all the way to the top? If i was unemployed and could play 24-7 it still would take me like 6 month to get to the top off every line, maybe even longer?! Im Swedish so sry for the grammer.

I really get what all you guys are saying and i am playing the game just for fun but the same time i have a really stressfull job with lots off responsebilitys and for me gaming is a escape from reality where u mostly feel good about youreself and youre accomplichments (?) so when the games starting to feel like to much work it sucks. And im not really in it for just level the crap out off every tree but progression ingame is like a tap on the shoulder, an old thumbs up for a job well done, it makes you happy. And i dont mind it reqiers some work but it just feels like its a bit too much as it is. And i dont want the Shimikaze because its a tier 10 ship, as a dedicated DD captain i just wanna feel the power of the fastest DD in the game and also one with a whole lot off torps (Missed the Kitakami in CBT). I did buy Murmask , Atago, 14 days off Premium and havent played Co op since Level 2.

Why are the other classes useless? A Tier 10 BB dies pretty fast to some Shimikaze torp runs? And Des Moines autoloading guns should be able to burn down BBs quite fast.

Yeah sure. But a big part of the fun is to be able to try out the bigger better ships, right?

Exactly what does that do for the grind? And i am playing well, moore then often im top 3 in the match often MVP and as Jap DD i sometimes get up to 5 kills in a match (mostly in my Minekaze) but still think i earn so little for it, i dont mean they should give the ships away but i dont wanna wait until winter to reach my goal aswell. "WINTER IS COMING"! ! ! (John Snow joke)

If i take the level 4 captainskill that boosts my AA range 20% and i also buy the upgrade that boost my AA range 20% do they then stack on top off each other so i get a 40% increase off my AA range or do they cancel each other out so i still only get 20 % rangeincrease?

So , i was actually thinking of changing one off them to moore accurate artillary aim but then maybe i should do them both and become a freakin AA monster on the high seas?

The 2 Million Target Aquisition System Modification on lets say the Atago, does that give you 20 % moore range on both guns and torps or just guns? And if its both then you get 12 k torps then?

Is it possible to see if a secondary armament is duel purpose and acts as AA as well?

So you pretty much buy a wortless thing for 2 Million dollars!?! How can u tell if you're secondary armament is duel purpose and also act as AA? Im wondering if i should get the upgrade for the AA or the Secondarys in my Atago?

When I choose the Main Battery modification 2 on my Minekaze it says: + 10% to main battery loading time and + 15% to main battery aíming speed. So if im reading this right im paying 500.000:- to get slower turning and slower firering guns right? Otherwise it should say - 10% and -15%. Why should i pay a half a million dollars to get a worse ship?

Well, if so many players have a such a hart time understanding these maybe they should choose a different wording or something. And i did search and read the FAQ but didnt find this, but i could have missed it.

I got those headphones looking thing when i got my Cleveland but either i dont get the usage or it sucks. I tried it when i was dogfighting a dd at close range and he popped smoke on me, but that thing didnt do crap for me, couldnt detect him or his torps for crap. So i would much rather have that old CBT function that buffes youre AA for a limited time, and I know i can buy this for some doubloons every match but thats gonna run me out of them quite fast. So is their a way you can change consumable permanent?

Yes, i found this , the problem is that if i want AA buff permanent then i have to spend a years salory on dablouns since i need to buy this function for every match. Has anyone got those headphones thingys to work?

I got 17732 XP on my Pheonix and the next Cruiser in line is the Omaha wich have a researchprice of 17500 when i hold the mouse over it so it should "go Green" for me but it doesnt?! And when I click on the Omaha so i see the ship up close now it says the price is 20000 XP? Why do they up the price, or am i missing something? If i go back to the tech tree it says 17500 again? What gives?

Ahhh, OK , sweet tnx, didnt know u had to buy all the modules for the price to be right.
