    Update 0.8.0? Major release, major fail?

    My complains regarding the new cv mechanics: I'm an exprienced player who has played more than 10K matches in almost every single ship in this game including cv. I don't call my self a good cv player, but I think that I knew how cv works and could still perform efficiently. There are serveral major problems with the new cv mechanics. 1. Is it actually fair? In the paper-stone-shearer model, the cv was placed as a role that is able to "outplay" all the other ship classes, and the only factors restricting cvs are RNG based AA and both RNG and skill-based cv counterplay. This also means that for the surface ships, RNG is the deciding factor countering cv attacks, while cv players also need to face RNG to be able to do any damage. That was completely fine, since both sides will benefit and suffer from RNG. With the implementation of the new patch, the cv players can use their skills to counter AA fires from the surface ships, while the surface AA is still quasi RNG-based. This also means, to avoid taking damage from aircraft is more difficult. The new cv also replaces the role of dd, since they can launch torpedoes from a way shorter distance (also from invisibility!!), and more importantly. new cvs will be able to scout more effeciently than dds and counter them more easily. So I don't see its fairness with the new gameplay. 2. UI issues The animation of the new cvs is terrible. There is no clear indication when torpedoes were being droped (I set my graphics to ultra), so that dodging torpedoes is way more difficult than before. Furthermore, a fully stealth-speced Hakuryu can even launch torpedo attack from invisibility. New animation also reduces performance on older hardwares. 3. Information The player base (as always) is poorly informed. Even with all the videos provided by official routes, a player will still not be able to understand certain mechanics, for-example: AA mechanics and more how-to issues. My suggestion: 1. Removing the feature that the planes cannot be damaged by AA when returning. 2. Making DFAA more efficient. 3. Restricting the air-droped torpedo range to 3km 4. Restricting the concealment range of planes to a reasonable range 5. Making DDs capable of defending themselves with AA fire 6. AA should be controlled completely manually, or making planes less manuerable 7. If possible, making backup-mode with the old cv mechanics, if not, all the xp and credits that were used on the cv after research should be refunded as free-xp instead of moving them to the T1 ships
