You really think WG nerfs ships just because tests show they are imbalanced?

Yeah, there are still many threads without a chosen best answer ^^

Als erstes unbedingt Tarnungsmeister. Dann auf Trägheitszünder sparen.

NEW PATCH: POSSIBLE BUG? Especially Ranked. Unfair new "DISCIPLINE"
Commander_Cornflakes replied to SamuraiShakaViking's topic in General Discussion
This sounds like a problem with mods. Are you using any? If so, try starting the game without them and see if the problem still happens.- 13 replies

Let me tell you whats *edited* wrong with high tier CVs
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Sargento_YO's topic in General Discussion
I feel a little bit guilty now We actually met OP twice in a row. (Same map as well ^^) My best moment in the game was ramming the Minotaur at the end xD So much this. Played the whole evening with Gearing+Worcester+CV division and it was so freekin hilarious And I think Worcester has way too much utility. Def-AA, Hydro, Radar and Heal feels slightly OP. -
Very weak ship indeed. Totally useless on Ocean

Nope. Each sort of damage is healable to some point. Damage from fires and floodings to 100%, damage from shells or torpedos less. But the healable damage you received will stay there until you heal it, no matter if you get hit after that.
-
Yes. Especially when under HE fire, using DCP is pretty much pointless as you will burn again after the cooldown anyway. And even worse, if you put out a fire and eat a torpedo afterwards, you have a flooding you can't heal and this will do far more damage than 1 or 2 fires. I'm using PT on nearly all my ships. Very helpful to know when I'm being focused too much. T7 has the best MM because you will rarely be lowtier. And most T7 BBs are nice to play. But T5 and T6 are nice to train too. Playing DD without CE is not a good plan, no ^^ Unless you are a Soviet Gun DD. It's no impact at all.

[Co-Op] - Please consider removing Two Brothers map from rotation or adjust the Bot routes.
Commander_Cornflakes replied to IanH755's topic in General Discussion
When I played some Coop just for fun, I actually experienced the same on this map. So I understand you and I think this really is a problem. Best would be if no more than 2 ships can go mid and nearly half of the bots have to go to each side. -
Well, yes, but with only 6km torpedo range, you will rarely use them
-
Nope, Großer Kurfürst has more (105800). But Yamato has the best torpedo protection, so every other ship will need same or less torpedo hits to sink. Yes, spreading your hits on the whole ship would be best.
-
We are talking about broadside, so lets assume all torpedos hit Yamatos torpedo belt. Yamato has 97200 hitpoints and 55% torpedo protection. 1. Khaba torps do 19500 damage, 8775 on torpedo belt. That means you'd need 12 torpedo hits to sink it. Only having 10 torpedos, Khaba can't kill a Yamato this way. If however two torpedos hit left/right of the torpedo belt, it should sink. 2. Shima torps 23766 damage, 10695 on torpedo belt. That means 10 Shima torps will sink a Yamato and it has to use only 2 of 3 launchers. 3. Gearing torps 17900 damage, 8055 on torpedo belt. 10 torpedo hits result in 80550 damage and therefore can't sink a Yamato. You'd need 13 torpedo hits to sink it, or, as with Khaba, 2 torpedos have to hit next to the torpedo belt. (All calculations without flooding.)

Asashio zerstört das Gameplay
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Warlaxx's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Da Vigilance prozentual ist, bringt der Skill quasi nichts gegen Tiefseetorpedos. -
Do you have a replay where this happens? We can probably help more if we actually see the situation. But it sounds like your target shot something 20s before which means his detectability was then equal to his gun range. After 20s without shooting the detectability went back to its normal value.
-
Don't worry that much. If it was his first time and he just got pink, he won't be banned to Coop. Only if he does it again while being pink.

Fighter-Setups are the worst that WG ever did and it's a good thing they started to remove them.

Commander_Cornflakes replied to ShikonNoTama's topic in Die Messe (Offtopic)
Wenn du mindestens ein Clangefecht gespielt hast, ist ab morgen kostenloses Umskillen möglich. -
Use Firefox I'm using the dark theme as well, but once chosen, it stays permanently. So I guess it is browser related and not a bug of the forum.

High tier game chat is radioactive
Commander_Cornflakes replied to M0bius_One's topic in General Discussion
>Be me, playing World of Warships >new to the game, so no idea how it works >buy hightier premium ships because of the big guns >so_much_range.jpg >boom >33k avg on T8, feelsgoodman >people start telling me how to play >tell them to shut up, just playing for fun >chat gets more rude >go to forum to cry about toxic chat instead of actually learning how to play- 33 replies

You know that there is land under the sea, right? And ships have a part that is below the water surface. Is it time for my paint skillz again?
