Projekt "HELP ME" - Spieler helfen Spielern stellt sich vor
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Herrschultz's topic in Neueinsteiger

Remember that the -3% on Flooding are only applied when torps hit the torpedo protection. And since DDs don't have any ... ;)
-
Detonation is a word you've heard?
-
That's another thing. Multi section hits with shells are nothing new. They are a regular game mechanic when a shell hits through multiple parts of a ship. But torpedoe don't work like that. Because of the friendly Z-52 that was there.

And surely you got a replay or screenshot proving said damage number, right?

gruppenspiel Spiel in der Gruppe
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Sakura31's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
If he plays CV, then you definitely want the C hull and equip Def-AA instead of Speed-Boost. 2. Propulsion 3. AA guns 4. Propulsion 6. Torpedo Tubes is good for Fletcher; for Gearing I personally choose AA instead, because Gearing's torpedo launchers tend to get incapacitated quite often and with the module even more. Which is extremely annoying and in the case of permanent destruction even fatal. My build for Gearing (which works fine on previous DDs too) is in that order: PT, LS, SE, CE, AFT, BFT, AR The torpedoes are nice, but the guns are the real strength for US DDs and the AA is quite helpful too, especially if you play together with a CV.

Thanks, I got it :) Took a while to mount the flag to 123 ships though

Looks like he doesn't dare say something similar to me

"confirmed"

Were you using the trainings room before? Because after doing so, the battle mode is switched to Random instead of what it was before.

Equip the HSF camo.

serious lack of credits being earned... Need more, how?
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Sark74's question in Q&A Section
There is also the Shinonome, a T6 premium Japanese DD you can get for free by completing the Honorable Service campaign. -

Commander_Cornflakes replied to Sark74's question in Q&A Section
If it wasn't too long ago, you can ask customer support to revert this (of course you lose the credits, but can get the ship back), saying you accidentally sold it. WG is usually nice enough to do it, if it's only once ^^ -

Commander_Cornflakes replied to Sark74's question in Q&A Section
Premium time is usually the best way to earn more credits. Combined with your Sims, you should have no credit problem if you play her more often. While true that the XP on your Sims is mostly useless, you can still use the free-XP you get with each match and especially important the captains XP. You should use your normal US-DD captain on her to train him further so you have a good captain when you reach Gearing. I wouldn't bother thinking about the XP on those other ships. I have a few million XP on some ships ^^ What really matters is that you have fun playing your ships. If that is not the case, then stopping with this game might be the right decision. -
How to remove side ship panels
Commander_Cornflakes replied to SkullBreaker007's question in Q&A Section
Options>Controls and then something like "Show team lineup". I don't have english interface, so no idea about the exact name. But you can find it at this position: -
There is no difference in what your ship does. It's just more comfortable if you don't have to hold the key all the time for longer maneuvers.

Zweites Aufklärungsflugzeug bringt gar nichts. Der einzige Vorteil warum man den Skill nehmen könnte ist das Spotting. Also Torpedos oder nahe DDs. Da sind zwei Flieger schon besser als einer, das wars dann aber auch.

elite SHIPS XP exchange to FREE XP
Commander_Cornflakes replied to remenberMYname's topic in General Guides
I think you don't know what Elite means. In WoWs, Elite ships are regular ships that have all upgrades and the next level ship(s) researched. So it's pretty easy to make a ship Elite and then convert the rest of the XP. So basically you only can't convert XP if the ship is missing any upgrades. -
elite SHIPS XP exchange to FREE XP
Commander_Cornflakes replied to remenberMYname's topic in General Guides
That means you can't convert XP from a ship that is not Elite yet. -
Ok, that sounds good For a moment I was just scared I might get credits ^^

friendly damage penalty on torpedoes
Commander_Cornflakes replied to Peter1968_2018's topic in Announcements and General Discussion (English)
It doesn't even matter if it's intentionally or not, because negligent damage to others is punishable as well (and rightly so). The difference between your example is that we are talking about torpedoes. They only damage one ship (the victim's). To correct your comparison: One car drives on a street and throws a grenade out of the window. But it rolls further than expected, resulting in an explosion at the wrong car and damaging innocents.
