    Well just compare the back of the H-41 to the bismarck. Bismarck got 4x2 turrets and we can clearly seem the in the image as well. The back of the H-41 looks almost identical, only that the turrets are slightly wider. So if the H-41 will have 3x3 the Bismarck will have 3x2

    If you look closely enough you can seen 4 Turrets on the H-41 Also 4x3 Turrets would match the fire power (more or less, something in between) of the yamato and montana

So instead of AP: 202500 DPM and HE : 75000 DPM it will have 12 turrets(probably) : AP: 303750 HE: 112500 DPM and thus would be in between the max DMP of the Yamato and Montana. So this might actually be balanced.

    Montana Vs Yamato: Nothing new, just a question.

    On broadside they both can basically (not taking other factors into account) pen on equal terms, but the Yamato usually fights nose in. Yamato also got 2/3 of its fire power on its nose, while the montana only got 2/4. Yamato shells 460mm, Mass 1460 Montana shells 406mm, Mass 1225 That alone shows the difference in fire power in a 1vs1 fight Yamato, 26.6km 276m Montana, 23.6 297m (with mod) : 264m I was taking the number of guns into account, increasing your hit chances.

    AS far as we know German battleships will get crap accuracy on long and mid range, (looking at tirpitz), so a crusier broadsides you on 10km and you get maybe 1 citadel on him? great... hey at least the crusier wont be able to citadel you.... happy 32s reload while the crusier pumps in 8k salvos into you and angles once you are reloaded. also a problem as mentioned above german ships take massive dmg to super structure... if it does not change with the h-39 or h-41 you will most likely take 20k dmg salvos on your super structure... Also Montana has 12 Guns with lower caliber than Yamato, that has 9 guns with higher penetration and more dmg... on same ROF... while the H-41 got 8 guns with lower dmg and lower caliber of yamato and combined with higher reload.... Just look on the DPM... And do not forget that the H-41 is supposed to have the worst accuracy. Higher suitability? as long as super structure does not protect against 203mm HE shells you will take massive dmg from HE... And if you think you can use it as a close range brawler forget it, it will a big fat rock as all tier 10 bbs. Compared to that the H-39 looks better (Higher ROF, almost equal armor, higher maneuverability,...). Battleships are already easly out-DPM'ed by Crusiers in a 1vs1 fight... lets bring in a battleships that can hit crap, and does little dmg right? Btw what happend to Germans Radar aimed Guns with High accuracy, from the Tirpitz? Or the one shot on the Hood from Bismarck? I guess those guns must have been super inaccurate :kappa:

    could you also post the shell stats of the yamato and montana to compare? I am surprised about the 420mm 1.9 ROF, how is that going to compete with the 2.0 ROF of the montana or yamato? Yamato: 9 shellsx460mm, 2.0 ROF Montana: 12 Shellsx420mm, 2.0 Rof H-41. 8 Shellsx420mm, 1.9 ROF ?!

  16. The Indianapolis is simply crap for ranked. will be citadelled through the front from cruiser and battleships, does not stand a chance in a 1vs1 against a myoko or shorst... Radar? if you ever get close enough without dieing.... its just not worth it... Indianapolis avrg dmg in ranked: 28,514 Myoko (depends on type) : 33,647 - 37,446 Shorst: 33,108 Atlanta: 21,765 -- is at least good at killing dds (and many ppl have it) Pensacola: 24,801 so the only options are shorst or myoko for the crusiers... Also the cap xp bonus should be disabled for dds in ranked...

  19. Situation Awareness Skill As many of you know, with Patch 0.5.5.0 many people believed that the SA (Situation Awareness) Skill changed. According to the WG Staff, and the developers, SA was not changed and worked like this for years / since CAT. However, they introduced a delay of 3s to the detection in patch 0.5.5.0. So what does it mean? So for example if you are detected, and you are creating smoke, you SA will go off instantly, however, you will still be visible for another 3s to the enemy. So if you are moving on full speed while dropping smoke, it is possible that you wont even vanish at all. On the other Hand WG Staff already said, that SA is being worked on, to make it more precise in the future, so the delay will hopefully shrink from 3s to <1s. Problems However, many people, me included, found the SA unreliable in combination in smoke. So 2 Days ago I encountred the problem directly in a Random match and recorded it here: Session 1, Video1: First Appearance So I went to the training room with a friend and investigated: Session 1 ,Test2: First Result Test 2 however was not giving proper results of the problem so we tired to reproduce it once again, an it was made clear, that there is, indeed a problem. Session 1, Test3: Watertight proof From test 3 we could conclude that this was no longer related to the SA skill. Today I reproduced the problem again in a 3rd attempt: Session 2, test 3: Sync Problem this test nr3 makes the problem even more interesting, and shows a possible desync between client and server. The problem appears on the very edge of smoke, as seen in the attached image, in step nr, 4. In the last video I test whats happening if you are reversing / moving forward.   20. If the Shimakaze is running the Target Acqustion System modification 1, he has a higher forced detection range, you would have something like 2km whie he would have 2.5km or so... so he would detect you in smoke but you wouldn't detect him...

    Looks like the ranks are messed up, there are 2 tier 10 ranks now.. Rank 2 and Rank 1. I can also confirm the rank mismatch. Rank 14 displaying as rank 13 Found out, that mods are causing this ;)

    Artillery Plotting Room Modification 2 (-7% to maximum dispersion of main battery shells): the bonus has been increased to -16% to maximum dispersion of main battery shells. This upgrade will be available only for US battleships in PT its only 11% though
