Unfortunately this has descended into tit for tat but I do have to chuck in my two pence to fight my corner. From the word go in Clan Battles for BOATY we have tried to be as fair as possible. Alpha played to the Meta, a ship was assigned to you which complimented the team and that required flexibility. Bravo had free reign to use any ship as long as you were confident in it and that included rentals. Any player in the clan can play for either or both divisions, I personally play for both and enjoy the change of pace. Neither Alpha or Bravo limit players based on any predetermined factors other than available ships and the willingness to play them. The reality is we are a storm league clan, being elitist like RAIN or OMNI doesn't work for us and the reason we have constantly maintained a harmonious 50 members is because of this intrinsic egalitarianism. To address what you mentioned Freddie: "When I got in the discord channel I could see that not everyone had arrived yet, so I asked if there was any space for me. It was an immediate no, as they already had in mind someone else they wanted to join who was not in the channel yet." - I remember this, I was there, the division was Alpha and we had a battleship player ready to go in a Monty (I believe it was Stephen) and you suggested you could bring a Kurfurst. Everyone refused given it's limited suitability and a player ready in the Monty. You then had no suitable cruiser to play in it's place (Hindy, Zao, DM or Moskva) so we said no and instead we suggested you wait until a Bravo division could be set up. We were indeed short a player, but were prepared to wait for a player whose ship compliment our own. It was not a device to push you back but one to keep the ship squadron consistent, all you had to do was bring a cruiser. We were polite and nice and the next thing we know you left the clan. Limiting yourself to one ship type can really put a crimp on things. Anyway please find the rest of our conversation attached, I feel like it's fairly vindicating. The only reason we all on the proverbial bandwagon is because we have first hand experience of the disruption he causes and more importantly we don't like being lied to. This is no witch hunt, the fact that leaders from multiple clans all of whom have had him in their unit have effectively testified to the problems he causes and downright saltiness should be warning enough. What should also set off a few alarm bells is the sheer number of clans he has rotated through over the past six months; which by my count is nine. I'm sure all of those nine clans (Including BOATY) would describe themselves as inclusive, and they are probably accurate in that description mostly because each gave him a chance, yet ultimately paid the price, as you may too, at which point we'll welcome you with open arms into the club. As recruiters we put in a lot of work to keep our clans functioning as you must know. When someone comes in and upsets the balance through their own deception and selfishness it adds to your already substantial work overhead.

@Zombie_Researcher You need to log into the game and go to the clan screen. From there you click on the drop down next to your clan name and it gives you a number of options, one is to rename the clan. Not sure if it costs doubloons or not though, there's a fair chance that it will.

You left Boaty in a huff because we wouldn't allow you to use a Kurfurst in Clan Battles and you refused to take a cruiser. In this thread you have shown your true colours as a blatant liar and believe you me you will not be getting an invite back ever, so I guess it suits us both.

The crossover counted for nothing and was a test only. Literally everyone who played enough games got to Typhoon and Hurricane, that was the point, to test the matchmaking and the cross region compatibility with different leagues. BOATY certainly got to both Typhoon and Hurricane i nthe crossoever test as did practically every other clan who participated. In no way can you or I call our selves Hurricane or Typhoon material based on it. Misrepresenting yourself or the clans you played with helps no one.

Yeah Salentine is right, I was going to message but a few too many red flags with this guy. He was in 1701 for 1 day, HEROZ for 3 days, SBS for a month and a half and R-U for 3 days. None of which are Hurricane clans and at no point during the current or last Clan Battles Season was he a consistent member. Before this he was in ADR-E for a week, DNH for 2 weeks and with us in BOATY for 2 months. I was surprised to see us in the list as I don't recall the name nor remember the reason for his departure, but someone else may have brought him in. He certainly didn't play CBs with us as I'd remember him. Now I do have the Stalingrad because BOATY have for the previous three seasons (including the current one) reached Storm League 1 and I have personally participated in Ranked down to around rank 10 for the past few seasons. But I had to buy Steel Monsters & Prinz Eitel to push me over the top with Steel and blitz though the 14 or so T10 ships I own, plus not to mention re-buying all the t8 and t9 ships as well. Even with the Steel Monsters campaign and Prinz Eitel Frederich I cannot see how a player this new, with such little under his belt and so few ships he could even be close, so I unfortunately have to call [edited]. He may have an account on a different server, but unless specified we have to take this on face value alone. Recruiters don't like being lied too, it takes a lot of work to keep a clan of up to 50 members functioning and trouble makers are soon ejected.

Thank god for that, catering to owners of potato PCs from the 1800s is not a smart way to conduct business. If a player can't afford even the most basic of components they were not going to be able to afford things like premium time and premium ships which keep WG in business. This way the rest of us reap the benefits!
