    St. Louis Cruiser Missing/Non-functional Guns

Omaha shares this a bit. I think it is the last hull, there are two quad AA guns on top of it's cheek turrets. But they don't figure in the AA. And then there are the many missing AA guns from various ships (the Nagato is severely lacking in that department).

Why would I sail the South carolina instead of the Kawachi?

Actually the Myogi feels a lot better now compared to how she felt when I played her first. But then again that was back in 0.3.0, before the manoeuvrability, armour and hull(AA) buffs. But her guns are still not very good. Some games you just hit left and right, others you miss everything and end the game with 15 hits. Arguably she is a reasonable ship for her tier, as long as you don't go broadside with a Wyoming. If played like a battlecruiser (which she is), she can perform. Use the speed to engage and disengage, do not feel bad for running away from a stacked fight, unless you literally have to fight that fight, or you would leave your teammates hanging.

Saddly WG doesn't take the PvE battles seriously...

One thing I noticed during my few PvE battles in CBT was that the AI is generally better at TB evasion. As in, all of them evade all the time when TBs are near. In fact it is a great little tool to use and become better at landing torps on targets.

Manually tagging TB´s with AA spread their aim

Ahhh... that's pretty silly honestly. Should just be they attacked what is nearest, or based on regular AA priority, or what we focus. Easy to understand, and easy to figure out, and not OP in the slightest (but annoying like hell, and if you attack a higher tier ship those planes can kill like mad). So they are after all intended to panic. Got it. And of course I agree that if focusing was enough to cause panic it would be a massive pain to even try to hit an evading ship, and it would make Defensive Fire worthless.

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

Well, that was an intended feature on an airdropped warhead that can at best be called a mobile mine (I mean 5 knots, come on, not torpedo material). http://www.subsowespac.org/the-patrol-zone/circular-torpedo-runs.shtml Serious USN issue among the subs.

    Hacking acusations are helium-light today!

Nah. Have also run into a few that complained. Don't know why though. Is it any better to sink a non-CV? At least the enemy CV should understand the danger better.
  7. That would be pretty damn nice honestly. But I doubt it could be implemented. Reading stickied topics is an age old skill of avoidance. Meaning people are super skilled at not doing it unfortunately. Those that do anyway are also the people the most unlikely to whine like a madman in the first place.

LOLwut? That's some pretty crazy stuff there. And here I thought they didn't include the infamous USN circling torpedoes.

Manually tagging TB´s with AA spread their aim

Well, obviously there are fighters and spotters, but scout fighters is making the distinction between fighter squadrons and cruiser/BB fighters easier and faster. I think I have run into a spotter attacking my TBs. That was a pretty rude shock (since I had fighters nearby that could have killed it), and naturally the result was a pretty ugly miss. I just assumed it was a fighter with the wrong icon. So they are not intended to cause panic... hmm that's interesting. In that case I might have to revise my plan of dropping the spotters. And it isn't controllable you say? Even more interesting... Seems things are a lot less clear. But I wouldn't say the panic makes Defensive Fire useless, they can only target one squadron at a time, and for all attackers to be panicked you would need several ships that all have different squadrons as the most important target (or else they would just converge on one squadron).

WOW EU and USA servers on one PC?

Manually tagging TB´s with AA spread their aim

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. But if you tag an incoming squadron/plane and it is within range, the scout fighter will fly towards it and engage it. I'm not sure about it's automatic function, so I will not say anything about that. But since this is the only way to panic planes without using the Defensive Fire ability, it is the only logical conclusion. Later on battleships also gain access to scout fighters, but that is quite far off for me personally.

Manually tagging TB´s with AA spread their aim

No, Ectar made an assumption that a cruiser would have it's fighter scout up. That little plane can panic one squadron of torpedo bombers at a time. So in a twosided attack, panic one and turn into the other.

Have victory conditions somewhat changed in Domination?

Highest points at timeout wins. Simple as that. You functionally can't draw Domination any longer.

    Where is my plane?

All right, this is an honest question. Do you think that the game takes place during WWII? If you do, then you are wrong. The game doesn't take place at any time. We get to play with ships of different times against each other. We can have a 1915 Fuso square off against a 1942 Cleveland, in the configurations they had at that time. There isn't a set date so to speak, or we could barely have Kawachis and Tenryus work at the same tier (Settsu, the surviving Kawachi was disarmed in 1922, while the first Tenryu was commissioned in 1919).

    Quite proud of this result

New to the game, does rather well. I think he has a right to feel proud. Few of us were very good the first couple of days. This counts as very nice for a very new player.

    Where is my plane?

It is a bit of a mess honestly. Sometimes they appear to be massively OP and whack entire squadrons, other times they either get knocked down by fighter squadrons or get killed by rear gunners within a few seconds. But the damage is really not important. It is their panic ability that is awesome, especially against USN CVs that for the most part only have one TB squadron. There is no doubt for me, I will pick the scout fighter any time I can. It lasts longer and will still spot pesky DDs sneaking up behind islands (if not as well as the old spotter plane). The spotter plane only really works for a range boost, and if you are confident with the different view, it can also help a bit with accuracy. It's uptime is low though, at most 4 salvos (1 right away, then 1 about every 30 seconds thereafter).

    We Need Foghorn's!

While I support the idea, it should come with a massive cooldown. At LEAST 30 seconds between toots. If not, imagine the horrible early game spam. Exactly when you need the horn the most it will be drowned out by idiots bleeting away. Also, while it is cool in theory, it is probably not so cool when you have to consider how it will work. What should it's distance be? Will it increase detection? Does it drop off sharply, lightly or does it have a wall? How does the intended target know where you are? Etc etc. Simply speaking, I would love foghorns, but in the end it would probably be too much work, to make them function in a proper fashion, and without making them a pain most of the time.

    Hull Upgrades & Bridges

Yes, a keep in English. Though you will find that the direct ancestor of 'castles' were the motte-and-bailey fortifications. And they appeared well before the Crusades, somewhere in the 10th century. The freestanding single keep was a later development, and outside little outposts/watch towers, were built in stone, whereas the motte-and-bailey were initially built from reinforced wood (and earth obviously).
  19. Unintentional_submarine

    Where is my plane?

Yes, 1922. Not 1915. Besides she (Yamashiro) only had those planes for a brief period. Yes, the ships have the same hull obviously (though the Kongo class ships did have a pretty serious refit). When people say 'hull' they mean the ingame hull modification. So the first hull modification, or setting if you will, does not have access to a plane because it didn't. So, you want fighters, is that it? For balance reasons fighters are restricted to late tiers. You might want to change your attitude. You are being incredibly bad at describing what you want, or even what you argue, and then claim I should read better. I can't read your mind. Since English is clearly not your first language, I'll not hold bad English against you, but you need to understand that it can be incredibly confusing for the other part.

    Hull Upgrades & Bridges

Donjon... First time I hear that expression outside castles (a donjon is the castle keep).
  21. Unintentional_submarine

    Where is my plane?

What? The early hull is the initial configuration, and then you improve it to a sort of WWII hull. How is that an excuse? Do you want late hulls all the time? You mean like none of the other ships save a few high tier ships? Not going to happen. There are no 'excuses'.
  22. It is old. Was possible before, but not any longer.

Suggestion regarding IJN CV and general CV balance

One would assume that, but the Canadians appear on board for most of it.
