True, but I also believe in not worrying about things that haven't happened yet. Like I said just because WGEU haven't told us how we will earn these camos doesn't mean we won't be able to. Well my issue is that we don't know if WGEU already have something else planned... and now we won't because if they say "we have something else planned" now you could argue it was because of the angry mob with pitchforks...

No, but even if they only look pretty we should be able to get them somehow. And I can't see WGEU not giving us the chance to earn them - perhaps another way. I'm happy enough to "wait and see" personally, but you have to admit the different server approach in a globalised online environment is *bound* to cause this kind of furore and cause unnecessary bad PR... Which is why - if it were up to me - I would be mindful of this when putting out communications and say something like "you may see the convoy missions on the other servers, we have other plans in mind stay tuned"... (That's not too hard is it?) And what's really sad is that a mission to get the Graf Spee... a free premium just for playing... plus the End of Year marathon is a really nice and generous event by WG... and instead of getting praise they get this.. Just because of possible unfairness across servers and definitely "sub optimal" PR... Shame

My position as a supertester has absolutely no relevance. As a player I'm not particularly bothered about a mission which gets you ships I already have --> or could get just by playing them. The special camo on the other hand *IS* an issue, as is the massive credit reward if you already have them. I also agree that the communication has been... well actually I can't say anything other than laughable. That video on the EU website previously had "v2" in the title. This has now gone... Its also unlisted on youtube, presumably so people from other regions can't search for it and get the one "not for them" But if I *DO* search youtube for "Hunt for Graf Spee" the WoWs video (longer one) comes up detailing the convoy missions... which we don't get on EU... Horrendously confusing, weird and uncoordinated. Oh dear. Even then I'm not going to get my pitchforks out. I'm just going to say "Hey WGEU, when and how can we get those special camos?"

So they cut the bit out about the convoy mission for EU. I get that. However it doesn't mean WG EU don't have something else planned instead, possibly later. However it's mindbogglingly daft to do it like this. This is why a joined up global communication strategy would help If EU are flat out never going to give us a camo you can ONLY obtain this way, then yes, you all have a point. However we don't know that yet because no one has said we aren't going to get them...

Hans seems rather grumpy today But he has a point. - the GS missions are xp based. Thank you WG for putting a sensible measure for missions. - convoy missions would be nice yes. But just because WG EU haven't said they are doing them yet doesn't mean they aren't. Suggest pitch forks on hold - even if we don't get a chance to use GS to get ships I've already got, then oh well. Though the unique camo is nice. Personally I can't see that being unobtainable on EU... NA server I can't see any mission details at all yet.

I agree about the rewards. They should be the same across regions. But the missions and their difficulty will be "tailored to the playerbase". This will always be the case. Completely agree about rewards though. The missions are get xp. Thank goodness for that!

Ok I will predict something and defend WGEU before it happens just to give you some idea of where I'm coming from. - Graf Spee as a reward ship. To control numbers given out and so they can sell a bunch to players anyway, expect the following: - missions for getting the Graf Spee will be very very hard. They will also be harder in EU than say NA because of the relative number of active players. To stop everyone just easily getting GS expect EU missions to be extremely hard to complete compared to Asia/NA - missions with Graf Spee will be easier and very rewarding. This is to encourage you to buy the GS rather than complete the above. Assuming this comes to EU I predict much whining any forum gnashing of teeth, but the reasoning and logic is clear. It will not be easy to get the ship. Forget free Leander etc I can't see that happening. Is it confirmed elsewhere? They must have no RNCL players or very few. Which might be understandable on Asia server.

If this isn't already in the minds/plans of WG I'll eat my hat I would love to have the alternate USCL branch. Especially if they are all like clevelols. I would also like another line of us dds and also a short alternate ijn CL branch so I can have Oyodo

No. it's got a bug. Sometimes the second smoke puff doesn't deploy and leaves you stranded. I've tested and confirmed this as have others. Posted in the bug thread too And if it's not a bug then it's "unintuitive unexpected behaviour"

mount juliet charlie and ALL THE FIRE AND FLOODING flags on the new german dds... or german cruisers. Simples (though you will detonate sometimes I think, its very effective at countering the generally meh HE without having DE) OR mount them all on IJN CAs if you are really evil.
