WG please be more generous to the players, you are loosing them!

Constructive. Not. But rather than try to learn how to be better and therefore "stack" your dice, just have a whinge then leave and go play something else... -

Once I've been on a map once the second time I load in early. Methinks it might be caching. Which would explain a few things. -
Issues Before Release - Game is not yet ready

I had a *gaming laptop*. It overheated and died. My PC is not a high spec PC at all but manages to run the game smoothly. I can only manage medium settings, but I can play for hours. It does lag a bit on loading but I thought it was my PC. -
Those stats look like mine for Tirpitz, which I took to immediately. I need to work out how to succeed with Nagato and "play her in"
-
A bigger map? In a U.S. bb? North and two brothers are big enough for New York. I like the variety.

Thank you for wonderful time, see you soon.

Hmmm that is tough. But... I would play Tirpitz or Murmansk if I had Iowa in a 1-1 ratio. I made 600k with one and 200k with the other in two games. More than enough to cover the costs. -
Hmmm. Just had an awful game in Nagato. Managed to get citadelled by a Colorado at a very hard angle. I thought her armour was good!

And is that meant to be an insult? -
Thankyou. I got a win in Cleveland today after watching some videos. Definitely a support ship!

Its still fun around tier 5 and 6 though. Play with those ships until the new trees come. Then grind the new ships! That's my plan. -

They do care about profits. And since it's a game they do "care" about players - and enjoyment of the game. And not just the paying ones. They know they need a lot of non paying customers to support their cash cows. Otherwise too few people will play. But mostly they will concentrate on numbers vs. targets. Ships by tiers, number of players and the spread of ship classes. This has far more of an effect than people posting their pet wishes/hates on forums - besides everyone on here wants something different from the game anyway so they couldn't please anyone -

I agree. I might get Yamato for Xmas but like you I want more trees to grind. Especially as I have been in since CBT. I only play BBs and cruisers so I can't wait for Germany and the RN. Of course I suspect RN ships will be all about guns and no armour... -

Well we call it grind for a start! Personally unlocking new ships isn't that motivating to me right now - once I got to tier V the game just became fun to play with any ship... Except Cleveland But id like clans please. I'm intrigued. Not being a tanker. -
What ships are you bringing to ranked battles?

I'm having a torrid time in her. I'm food for BBs and struggle to do damage. Now HE spam has been fixed she feels kind of weak. Like an annoyance rather than a threat. With balanced CVs now her role as escort isn't what it used to be either. The high she'll trajectory makes her less than ideal to shoot at dds aswell, if the dd is clever - which with the weakness of dds is now almost guaranteed. I know I need to go learn how others are doing well with her, but she's no fun to play... For me.

Carriers are OP, Battleships are OP, Cruisers are OP, Destroyers are OP
Admiral_noodle replied to Ectar_'s topic in General Discussion
I did but now it seems every game I am just food for BBs. I need to find out what I'm supposed to *do* in Cleveland etc. some people are achieving. I'm not. I'm even struggling to get good games in Murmansk! While in say Kongo I have great games. 80k damage, 5 kills. Murmansk and Cleveland seems a struggle to stay alive without being completely useless. -

Now this is a much more sensible post in my opinion. I would expect that if T10 doesn't fill up, WG will rebalance the top tier economy. If not and T10 remains unpopulated, then that's stupid. The stats will decide. Only time will tell. I have no problem in tier 7 making enough. If it gets that I make massive losses at tier 10 then I'll only play it rarely... So we shall see. Anyone got stats on average credit loss on say... Yamato? -

More listened to complaining... But mirror CV is better. BUT it would be better if the mirror allowed +/- 1 tier for CVs and CV level was "smoother" so a tier IX had a decent chance against a X -

WoWs rewards you for the hard work. Trouble is not enough people have put the work in yet... Because they are too busy complaining it's too hard Trouble is being multiplayer game you have other people... I just wonder if making the economy easier would depopulate tier V-VIII. But you'd be happier in your X -

Am I the only one who absolutely sucks in Cleveland and hates her? All I do in her is die. I'll not be bringing her to ranked! I look forward to seeing them in my battleships though. I can do ok in Pensacola because the bigger guns can actually do damage quickly.- 60 replies

And then everyone would play high tiers when they got there. MM in mid tiers would be a desert. New players would quite when they couldn't get a tier V game because so many people are playing high tiers only. Is anyone actually listening to this point? -

Admiral_noodle replied to Ectar_'s topic in General Discussion
Right... I'm coming round to thinking maybe it's not just me but cruisers are now UP. They seem to die awfully easily to BBs in a way I don't remember in CBT. They also seem to be not great at shooting dds - though that could be me. Main problem I think is BB players have got better. There are more BB players. It is extremely painful to sail my cruisers right now, while for my battleships it's a "happy time". Go look at my relative stats! Any opinions/advice - short of running away from BBs as soon as I see one how can I not such in cruisers? Have cruiser stars gone down since the last patch? -

As a non WoTplayer I agree. If people are leaving because of "credits" and not being able to grind in one ship without playing another (as designed) then fine. Leave. Personally I like the slow/tough economy. Makes the game more challenging and rewards sweeter when you get them. Maybe because I'm 37 I don't feel the need for "instant gratification" Patience and hard work are rewarded. I also feel that said players who are leaving because they can't get the ship they want right away don't *love* playing the game. I want to play with people who enjoy playing ships, not people just in it to "finish" the grind... I mean, I could play Kongo and Fuso all day and be happy. Sure the game needs more balance, content and some bugs need fixing - and I agree it's a bit incomplete to call it full release - but as a game I love it.
