I wish people wouldn't immediately blame WG for every issue with lag. Over the last week I've had one lag freeze of 15 seconds. Other than that I've had stable ping at 30-40ms and no issues even at peak times. Until you know it's WG servers (ping plotter) you can blame a lot of things... I seem to be ok now I've got my super fast broadband, but I've noticed at peak times my speed is down from 150mbps to around 20. More than enough to play wows though. Would recommend pingplotter, describe the problem in detail (times, players online etc). And raise a ticket. -

De sync is awful I agree. But RNG needs to stay. It's something that adds realism "feel" to the game. Straddling your target and lucky shots. It will scree you over just as much as it gifts you citadels so there's no need to complain about it... Just know how it works and act accordingly. -

Well said. Full rudder turns are easy to predict. Then the art is predicting when to fire to get the enemy at full broadside. Jinking. Good DD players do it brilliantly and its epically frustrating. And finally: this aim mod doesn't work on turning targets -

Just aim well and expect your shots to miss. Then you'll never be disappointed. RNG works on the receiving end too, when you manage to escape death in a cruiser... I really think this game would be seriously bad without RNG -

I don't think fire is that fast? Anyway RNG is actually the beauty of the game. What I find people forget is the RNG which screws you over is also the RNG which allows for devastating citadels. Without RNG the game would have to have citadels removed because they would be too powerful - and the game would become an extremely dull arcade shooter. The way to play is to manage RNG and mitigate the "luck" by doing everything you can to maximise yours and minimise your opponents. Of course as a Wargamer (miniature Wargamer) I know all about dice rolling, probably it etc do RNG has never upset me. -
This. I play BBs now more than cruisers and picking off bad or lazy cruiser players is easy XP. Be the one always changing speed and direction and I'll go kill someone else. If your firing on me make sure someone else is too. Preferably a battleship..,

I would say dire! Even I'm better than that! Why bash jingles? His vids are informative and fun. If I want to watch good play I watch Aerroon.

1 - would mostly be annoying and resource heavy but some would be nice 2 - it's not that bad really and the idea to "balance" win rates won't have much effect. Win rate is hardly reliable and would perhaps make mm worse... Tier 3 vs. tier 10 can only happen in fail divisions. Custom ships... Hmmm. How? Intriguing idea. -
I am playing about 1 ranked for every three randoms just for a "change". Ranked is kind of intense and I need three randoms to cool down.

I'm having no lag at all except for maybe one or two freezes in game where everyone is affected - that is the server. If you're encountering lag etc and the rest of the players aren't... It's you. If it affects all the players it's the server (roughly speaking) Sounds like Sweden is broken!?

Well as an update I now have: WR 51% K/d 1.91 Damage 36k Tier 5.3 All of these are on the up. I'm most pleased that damage and survival are up. Less bothered about win rate. I've watched videos and even my cruiser play has improved. So overall a good player I think will have "solid" stats throughout... I wish we could have some global averages by ship/class/tier. -
See MM as a challenge not a handicap. Player and team skill much more important than most of what MM throws up. I've won a fair few insanely matched games (like facing two Yamato in a division with tier 8 BBs only... And games where the tier is *obviously* imbalanced.

Most games are fine - at least 80%. Sure you get a spread but the teams are balance. The other 20% are interesting. Yesterday we had a battle where the enemy had 5 BBs to our 2. I thought "uh oh" but then we won I like the randomness in the games sometimes.

Personally I like the speed of wows. Ranked is much quicker though once battle is joined. I like the suspense -

Such complaints I hear daily in my job "how can it take months I can do it in a week..." But creating the ship itself is the easy part. I work I reporting solutions and creating reports is the easy but. Understanding the data, testing and making sure things are going to work is 90% of the effort. The ship here will be the easy part. Making it a working ship in game is the hard part. Anyway regarding HD - it's not something I care much about yet with my PC which only gets 25-35 fps on medium -
I'll grind her to get the NC. But might specialise in ranked. She's better than the NM.

After much frustration in my BBs in ranked - getting focussed and left behind - I think I'm going to try out Pepsi cola and just escort a BB and *not* leave them. Trouble is I'm awful at hitting dds.
