Depends on many things. Like whether DNS is up to date for each specific server. The Internet is weird.

The single biggest problem with this game.
Admiral_noodle replied to CenturionPuch's topic in General Discussion
Thays pretty rare above tier IV unless at extreme range though. Some of the dispersion in Kawachi is daft though. The only answer being don't even consider firing at anything over half range! Once you get to NC in is though it gets good. Not that I've got there yet. -
North Carline to expensiv to play whit.
Admiral_noodle replied to TomTheBonehead's topic in General Discussion
Already been said but your damage in BBs is far too low. Your hit rate (16%) is abysmal and your record at sibling ships is also low. It looks to me that you're not getting close enough to the enemy to hit and damage. You need to be at medium range to get the juicy citadels - and the credits to go with it! I would recommend going back to the New York or New Mexico and practice getting closer to the enemy. Or watch some YT videos of how to play BBs -
New Aim Mod (No, realy, this one is new)
Admiral_noodle replied to Wischmob_von_Eimer's topic in Archive
They've said they are working on blocking it. Such a block probably won't happen in an official release but a mini patch fix. Anyway don't worry about it. If you play well you're not going to be massively affected by the mod anyway. -
Lag is a network issue which may or may not be WGs issue. You're not in Sweden by chance?

Too few games. But your low tier cruisers can just about get them I think when you get to tier IV and V cruisers they will come. Managed 7 citadels in one game today in my Murmansk. You should get a few in your BBs if you aim correctly and at the right targets.

Slight buff to Colorado? Wow! -
Reported for playing poorly?
Admiral_noodle replied to Peter_Two_Moons's topic in General Discussion
Off topic but... What's average? Can you find out? -
This is good advice. I've noticed a fair few good cruiser players lately. The keep moving and turning, keeping close to their BBs and generally not letting my battleship smoosh them
-
I don't think that was the intention. He was just saying "he's a great GUY" isn't something you can know from a bunch of YouTube videos. You can say "he entertains ME".
-
In domination higher points win now. You're back in port and your ship is in battle? Looks like you fell off.

Reported for playing poorly?
Admiral_noodle replied to Peter_Two_Moons's topic in General Discussion
Don't try to bring reason into this. The play's poorly function will lead to stats and over time poor players will have a higher aggregate number of reports. Simple signal to noise. OP doesn't understand this - or apparently make rational decisions so... -
As is saying he is entertaining. I've not met him or any of you for that matter so I couldn't say if any of you were great guys (or girls)
-
Assuming you didn't run out of time? That sounds... Odd

Not surprised at your age given your username I'm 37. Personally I like to get more than one review of a premium or other ship before trying it out. I like to watch people play and work out what they are doing to get good scores. Jingles has the theory down usually and his videos are entertaining, but I watch iChasegaming and Aerroon to see how to play. Notser is pretty good too as he narrates what he is doing and why, though referring to himself as "we" which is always odd. Ever since getting a PC in the living room I've stopped watching TV pretty much altogether. Saving on sky anyway

0.5.0.1 Maintenance and Patch notes
Admiral_noodle replied to Thorontir's topic in General Discussion
Because that's difficult all the other premiums I have are big fat easy buttons (Tirpitz Murmansk aurora). I have Atlanta but rarely take her out for fear of looking like a noob. -

Well some people like to buy and collect them. Mind you I regret Atlanta. I like team chat options -
The single biggest problem with this game.
Admiral_noodle replied to CenturionPuch's topic in General Discussion
Invisible ships just ruins the immersion a little. I'd prefer there to be an intermediate range where the ship is visible but can't be tracked or "alt" information found. Or something less binary anyway. Very hard though -
The single biggest problem with this game.
Admiral_noodle replied to CenturionPuch's topic in General Discussion
Well with equal players with equal skill... Luck is going to determine the outcome anyway! RNG should be worse in wows as ship salvoes were more inaccurate. Edit: just checked your stats. You've played the four worst BBs with shotguns for main armament. Get to tier V battleships and RNG won't suck so much. -
Can you point me to a player with great stats
Admiral_noodle replied to Kokos78's topic in General Discussion
On average with Fuso if a carrier singles me out with 2x dds and 2x torps in cross pattern I will lose 1/3-1/2 my health and be out of action for about 2-3 minutes trying to repair. Annoying. But probably about right. -
Premium shop ships - no benefit (same error like in WoWP)

But you're more likely to do damage in Murmansk -

Diedel I don't agree 1v1 will come down to who angles, who aims better 9 times out of 10. At 10k I can get reliable danage even without citadels if my target is side on. The only time really 1v1 RNG decides is in equally matched players. Figment: 50-55k damage in a tier FOUR bb is a huge ask. Sometimes in Wyoming I didn't even manage to GET to the fight... And Myogi... Well I sucked with her. Even in tier V 50-55k is a lot. I managed 46k in New York and Kongo is up to 45k. On average. However I do agree in "decent games" I'll be doing 60-70k damage with her. -

Admiral_noodle replied to ulthien's topic in General Discussion
So. I'm not a tanker. I bought premium ships because I wanted the ships... Only later did I find out that they are "supposed" to generate more XP and credits. That said they DO earn more silver. I can make 200k profit in Tirpitz and 400k in Murmansk. I can't do that in my non prems (not quite). Also the Murmansk and Tirpitz are joys to play. -
Merged accounts etc. I'd probably give tanks a go - which might lead to more premiums (tanks) being sold to me
-
How old are you?? I watch jingles and a number of others. I enjoy reviews of ships and learning how to play better from other people, and making my own judgements over what jingles, ichasegaming, Aerroon etc are saying... I'm not sure it's fair to judge "the younger generation" like that. Younger people are simply more digitally connected. I do think some people still think you tubers are some kind of "officialdom" rather than just people who provide entertainment- but most "young people" (can you define young?) are clever enough to understand...
