    So WG put in a placeholder and are still working to permanently break the mod. Good. Sooner the better please and an official response saying that would be appreciated. Anyway please let's get some perspective. For me anyway from the appearance of the mod my damage and survival rates in all ships generally increased so: It's not "widely used" and/or it's not a big fat easy button. It's no use whatsoever against a dodging dd. it's probably best for first salvoes against IJN cruisers given their speed, but even then weaving + RNG is dominant at ranges where this is an issue. It's a cheat and needs killing but in terms of hugely affecting the game - I don't think it does. This is my view and experience. What we really need is some people to test the mod against real players and feedback with statistics, but that would be unprincipled!

    I don't think us low tier BBs are UP - but I would say that they delivered me wins... I think there is a specific problem with Myogi. I mean I just citadelled one in an Omaha. With HE.

    Who said 60% with aimbot??? I bet less than 10% of players even use a mod! Anyway please use aim assist. I watch when my opponent fires then change course and speed. If using aim assist that guarantees a miss. If not and using judgement/brain Iau sink. Thanks!

    Figment is savage as usual but spot on. There is a lot of skill in this game to be *good*. There isn't much skill involved to be mediocre. I think someone already made that point. Anyway I think this thread is done with useful content now

    Aim assist will get you that "first salvo" if the target is moving at an unexpected speed. That's all. The only time I'd suspect it is if I was sailing in a straight line at 3/4 speed and got hit at long range. It's still not going to win you games. But why would I do that. As for the creator he's an [edited]. He'd be better of privately sending his creation to WG. I would.

    Yea for now. The new one will be nuked again. And gradually people will realise... This is a pattern so not worth installing them. To be honest I didn't notice any aim bots/better opponent accuracy anyway. I can usually lead a target 9 times out of ten so long as I know what ship it is. I can even tell 3/4 speed from full. I'll not let it ruin the game for me. Although I have been accused of using an aim it

    WG need to be made aware anyway. This one will also be blocked. Any mod can be blocked, the only question is how many innocent will end up affected

    Just don't reply to Acheron. The aim mod is indeed dead. Maybe others are out there. Maybe not. But the paranoia has lessened making the game more fun

    I wouldn't have thought such an external API would be all that hard to create. Maybe one to request. To be honest this solution is so blindingly obvious it should have had a "modders api" from the beginning.

    My Arkansas still kills cruisers that take me on. Then again I re bought at Louis to division with a friend and what we did to 3 BBs in a row just wasn't pretty.

    I got to rank 20 so got some gifts. Now it's no longer irrevocable I can't really be bothered. Random is fun and I get to division. I sometimes stil dabble if I feel like I'm going to lose What would make me come back to ranked? - team games where we can pick the team. Like say a clan war...

    Nagato = more fun than Colorado. Mostly due to lack of speed. If I were you I'd accelerate to NC
