So they used a cheat and got worse. Genius? I think aim assist would make me worse in general. I try to factor in the enemy player actions. Oh and my hit rate is low. I'll try any shot of ice got no other targets and an already detected. -
Aim assist mod really is just a crutch for poor players who won't improve in all likelihood. Rest assured that since aim mod popped up I haven't been killed any more than usual so even though it's wrong, needs killing and is unfair, it's real impact is limited. It's not an aimbot hack (which would be disastrous)

Kawachi is ok. It's a beast when top tier. Just don't try to hit anything at range. Myogi can be a beast too. My issue is her lack of armour. Being penned by an Omaha *using HE* and getting a citadel is a little bit silly. -
Same here mtm. I didn't want to use "I play for fun" as an excuse for being rubbish. I also want to smash things in game so understanding how to play each class has benefits I may never be the best. I don't want to be. More than anything I want to be an asset to the team I'm in and not a liability. Still mustn't get overly obsessed with one stat over another. Win rate is not everything. I don't understand the thread now though. Why declare BBs are awful, then accept you're playing them wrong, call your stats unrepresentative but complain or boast about things you've done in the game --> while generating those stats!

Now it's released of course it's full of noobs and idiots - comparatively. That's life... We need clans and clan games. However as a tester I like to try and help noobs where I can and they want me to. Ranked sees better team play but is stressful Economy wise it's slower than CBT got content s lot of us had already. That said I want the top tier us BBs and the New Orleans so I'm happy to grind.

I think a lot of testers will feel like this. But that's the price of getting the game early.

MM is much better than it was. What you are saying is that unlike in CBT and alpha there are general players now who aren't as good which is annoying you. Would think ranked is made for such opinions.

Not trolling. Making observations. My stats are still recovering from Myogi and not understanding the Cleveland... Some BBs are brawlers, but not alone and not "out in front". So if you do this then your original point is correct. You will die. Im only trying to be helpful. I want people to get maximum enjoyment from the game so try to advise if people have a problem which is making them not enjoy playing if you are concentrating on cruisers now then cool - but I have a warning. you may not enjoy furutakas and Pensacola when you get them. You should like Omaha and Cleveland

Really. Based on what. And dumbed down how? Didn't play in alpha. Can't detect dumbing down since CBT. Would be nice to know what was more complex in alpha.

A few of my friends are playing less just because they played so much in CBT. New content will see them back probably. I just love the game! It's addictive.

Even so your Tenryu seemed to have the same problem. You do seem to have a survival problem! 37% vs. my 49%. And ship kills per game 0.45 to my 1.00. I think you may be charging off and getting separated from your team too often. You can't deal damage when you're dead! If you do one thing different I would suggest "following the herd" a bit more so you can do more killing it's more fun too. It may be called "lemming trains" but let the dds worry about yoloing and capping for now.

So... You charge off in Kuma. Explains why you nearly always die, have low damage and win rate. You're the Kuma that pops up early on that I enjoy nuking... it's not a great idea. Your second paragraph is correct. Don't charge off in a BB at the front. You will be focussed and killed by the enemy team. You say you got bored with that... Ok. Then don't play BBs as you'll never have enough patience for them. I would think you were more suited to dds? Also if you know you are playing BBs wrong why are you complaining they are under powered? They aren't. You are playing this support ship incorrectly/sub optimally

I suspect another reason is "been there done that" - I am grinding us BBs now simply because I didn't in CBT Maybe an influx return when new ships released. MM will always be on ship and never on "player skills" as there is no decent way to try to "balance" a team. In fact just because you put the best players together doesn't give you the best "team" - a problem England have had with football for decades.

If the example is Wyoming (let's not use Myogi it's bust, but actually can flee) then you're partially right. If the cruiser player is good and fights head on (let's say a Phoenix) you'll struggle to deal with him in Wyoming. However there is a whole team playing. If the Phoenix is focussed on on the Wyoming he's easy meat for the rest of the team. If the Phoenix makes a mistake or RNG favours you he's still dead before the Wyoming. So many guns! Of RNG hates the BB the Phoenix will still take quite a bit of damage and unlike the bb can heal. But mostly, with low tier BBs stay with cruisers? They won't stay with you? Go where you know cruisers will go... All your cruisers yolo'd and died? Well you're screwed.

He cant. He's going to suck it up, move as evasively as he can and turn his guns on you. In addition if he's good he will pull you in a direction which is bad for his team. He will move towards friendly cruisers and ask for help. He will move into a position which puts you in mortal danger for you to continue to fire at him. one fire will be ignored. 2... Press repair. Then he will fire AP at you. On average you will die first and you'll have got the BB down to maybe 1/2 or 1/3 health remaining. Then the BB will regain half what he lost in repair. On average. And Figment does know what he is talking about even at low tiers. I play tier IV and V battleships aswell. To add to the above for specifically tier IV BBs... A good tier IV BB will not be far from his cruisers. However, even I managed to defend a flank alone with Arkansas against a Cleveland and Omaha, sinking them both. I almost died. And as for stats, I don't want to say "you are bad" but the win rate damage and k/d ratio you have with your ships suggests why you might be frustrated with the game. Compare your Wyoming with my arkansas and Wyoming. I'm doing lots more damage and I think that's because I'm trying to stay with support - allowing me to use its shotgun effectively.

I love the way Figment suffers *no fools* I would seriously suggest just listening to what he has to say and not questioning it until you've tried it for >100 games. I had a win rate of 43%, k/d 1.1, damage ~28K at 200 games and thought I was doing ok, but knew I could improve. I looked at Figments stats and posts and thought hmmm must copy that. I also watched Aerroons videos. Seriously watch other people with good stats play. Now I have much improved stats and happier gaming. I no longer think "this game is unfair I'm being killed and can't hit back". First I got to the "yeah I've brought this on myself, not an optimal situation!" Stage. Now I think *ahead* that x situation looks bad or if I go to y there will be torpedoes or a pack of cruisers spamming me - so I shall not do that... Saying L2P is harsh and trite. People like Figment are giving you invaluable advice... But if you don't want to listen then fine. I will and I shall continue to learn

Noodle is fine. Am only admiral when driving my ships BBs nerfed would be a disaster. Only seasoned bb die hards would continue playing them. It's not BBs that need a nerf but dds and carriers which need changing so they do a better job of *distracting* BBs and making them turn away/change their plans. In fact longer running but more detectable torps from dds would have this effect. -

I kind of agree. Statistically BBs are propping up my WR simply because I can carry in a BB in a way a cruiser can't. I don't know if they are just OP or OP in the hands of someone who knows how to play. They aren't easy to get right because they are all about planning ahead and making the right choices. -
