Of course for Arkansas and imperator it's skewed by the fact that experienced players play those, while most tier IV players are "noobs". Of course they will have better stats.

This. Oh so much this. I still try and communicate. And if one or two listen then great. I've had some great games thanks to awesome teamwork. Oh and if we are comparing... Imperator 82%, Arkansas 70%. Both are kinda OP in my hands

True. Although i don't think my team minds - I also try to give tips and help to newer players. Tier V isn't seal clubbing. It's full of experienced players who just like tier V ships. And also noobs

For me I like the comparison - by ship - against server averages. (Which is why like warships.today). It therefore Measures you against everyone else in the same ship *then* aggregates. Of course that's flawed too. You can still stat pad in say St. Louis because you'll be better than the average tier 3 player. But it's still true. You *are* better than an average St. Louis player if you have a rating of 1600....

You know you can see those on the players page. Mine are woeful. 47% WR, k/d 1.1 and 27k avg damage. Ugh.

I quite like warships.today ratings. It is 50% avg damage, 25% kills and 25% win rate - and then rates you against server averages by ship. It's crude. It's not a "real" measure of skill. But it's actually not that bad. It won't tell you if you're any "good" but it will rate you vs. The "average". So if you're getting a decent rating there you likely don't suck. If you are rated as "bad" or average - then you can look into what you can improve on. OP is >1300, which is "great". Mine is 1260 which is "very good". Rough and ready but not a bad system. Of of course like all global statistics it falls down mainly in that how good I was in September is not how good I am today. I'm at 1477 for the last 150 games. Shows improvement, which I'm happy about

Hmmm regarding 3 - you've stated guaranteed. This could go badly if 10 million isn't reached regarding 1 - I forsee raging on forums and in support tickets for players who hit 260 pearls *just after* the 10 million is reached. Will it be "cut" at the very moment the target is hit? You see where I am coming from As its an event searching for virtual things where the ways to get them are set by WG I would suggest: Making sure 10 million is reached at an appropriate time. Fiddle it so that 10m is reached at a sensible cut off (eg the event finishes at a server reset.) then no one can argue they reached the 260 before or after...

We do need clarification. But I expect: 1-no (when exactly would you end it?) 2-I can't see any other way 3-it says guaranteed If the server doesn't reach 10m - expect "one final push we are so close!" - extend Plus WG can tweak the missions to make sure 10m is reached!!

Not really. It's encouragement to level up. Other missions are class specific. They require you to have a certain ship. All missions are tier IV or higher anyway usually. Still. Sink 3 and shoot down 30? Yeah that's a carrier mission!

No no no no. Premium doesn't fudge with MM. I wish it did. If it did, WG would advertise this fact (who wouldn't pay for better MM ) I'm getting a little tired of MM lately. Over and over I am the only tier III or tier IV when trying to collect pearls. Today - only tier IV in Nikolai. Yesterday 2 out of 3 St. Louis games I was in a tier V game. And at Louis is useless at tier V. And I was pretty much the only one at such low tier. It's like MM knows I'll be seal clubbing (the Dresden match I got 6 kills and completed the tier 2 pearl mission in 3 games). Being lowest tier in a tier 2 or 3 really hurts. Not so much later on as you'll have range to actually help out.

I might even attempt to play cv again because of this. I have a tier 3 DD but I'm too scared to take it out (super noob)

I would expect that: The deadline will be Feb 24th The event won't "stop" when 10m is reached. But there will be a check to see if 10m is reached on 24th. If not, then WG will do something interesting to make sure we get there.

Nice idea but I can for see issues with virtually unsinkable ships because RNG and randomness means you never hit the right spot. Also this would effectively nerf torpedoes, so you'd have to add in steering issues (like no bow!). And people would *love* that But it's still a nice idea. -
I'm really enjoying this. There's lots of things to play for other than "the win"'and daily missions. Lots of things to achieve in game is good. So far 104 pearls and lots of flags

Actually this is a good point for all the tin foil hatters. If WG gave "better RNG" as a premium bonus - it would sell. A stealth bonus would be pointless -

An error has occurs. It appears. The blue bar is showing progress but the progress says 0

Same for me. But the blue bar is still showing progress. Says 0/10 etc through. I think it's a bug. And needs fixing.
