No VAT changes I'm aware of but the pound is sliding against the euro mostly on fears of UK leaning the EU. It's way down at 1.24 now meaning a pound doesn't buy as many euros. If WG trade in euros expect prices in pounds to rise

Fair play. If you're not grinding (I am always grinding something) and just playing your ships for the sheer fun of playing, then your best bet is a cheap premium ship like Murmansk for credits. But you don't even need that to get income if your happy playing tier 4-6. It's still pay to rush, not pay to win. No way do you "need" premium below tier 7 even if you aren't brilliant. I'm not bothered about the price yet. I bought a year in one go I'll happily buy more premium time as long as there are new lines to grind. If that stopped I wouldn't have premium either. Oh and you don't need doubloons. You don't *need* to keep all the ships and you don't *need* to pay for retraining. There is even coop mode if you don't want to retrain in randoms. Just takes more playing.
-
Missions I would enjoy. Attack/defend. Convoy escort etc. Trial in coop first.

Its a bot not an afk. So it will fire at nearby targets. It may even move. Usually nowhere useful. I expect the bulk of the damage is vs. Players who think "ooo afk free damage!" Get too close and get torped... no idea why anyone would want such an account, unless it ends up with a ton of free XP and credits... By account with tier X unlocked?
-
MM does not "remember" your last few matches how ever much you perceive it does. It's random each time. The tier based MM around putting you bottom tier if you keep winning is a patent nothing more. So your premiss is wrong. Then the idea of "credit robbing" is stupid, pointless and won't work. Since most credits are gained by doing damage, you have little to no effect on how much money someone makes. Playing badly night make the team lose but it won't "credit rob". Finally there is no motive or point to do this as it gains nothing for anyone. So try to think more before posting threads. This whole concept is flawed and daft. You've invented a theory which fits your subjective perception, but not the objective facts

THis happened to any other CA captains ?
Admiral_noodle replied to D3D_CH's topic in General Discussion
It's just bad luck. I've had all the New Mexico guns fall off before. I admit I've deliberately targeted enemy gun systems before too. Especially on angled opponents. Not showing me broadside? I'll take your guns off then! -
In a DD?? I think I could actually play 140 games in a DD. If I had 5. I am *that bad* in DDs I don't play them! @sake78. I though 100 games in a day was "unreasonable" for a human. Maybe I was wrong. But we need something to identify bots. I like the idea of captcha. I hate bots on my team though. It's so annoying. Though I've seen very few.

I'm Just finding the NO and Iowa so unrewarding to play I'll not get a tier ten ever at this rate. Especially Iowa. In the very few games I've had its been sit back and wait for not very much. So not a good waste of 20 mins... WG do need to look at this. One idea would be to lower repair costs and let people yolo. At least it would entertain

...then you should be banned for being so bad WG won't respond to a ticket about a stats website. If they've seen this would be nice to know they are aware of the problem and "on it"
-
100 games. That's 16 hours of play in a 24 hour period... 16 hours! Ok ok after like 50 games ask for a proof of human before clicking battle.
-
Which is why such accounts should be instantly banned for going over an unreasonable number of games. Like 100.
-
Yup. Those stats (140 games in a day) are not feasible by a human. Let's say average game length 10mins 140 games is 23.3 hours. The first player I consider "real" has 68 games. Any account logging >100 games in a day should be insta banned. give WG some time they aren't omnipresent.

I thogh Radar was UP but if DD insist......
Admiral_noodle replied to Spellfire40's topic in General Discussion
Am actually looking forward to using my NO again Timing radar is the key thing. Only had one game and I didn't get to use it. But yes it's still a very new thing. -
Yeah... I use premium consumables on all ships and gave a premium account. I still make bundles of cash tier 4-6. Some cash at tier 7 and usually don't make a loss at tier 8. I've yet to break even in Iowa You can even make money at tier 10 with a decent game, and lots in an epic game. So OP, have you ever tried being better? You know, like performance related pay? Or real life? That's my gripe with people who complain about the economy. When I play my other games like city builders I accept the economy as part of the game (except when sand boxing) and play accordingly. I suppose I'm used to it. But in wows I simply play my "money makers" if I need credits, or fulfil missions. It's a problem if you *only* want to play high tiers, but then you're sort of missing out on 80% of the game if you do that. Just my opinion.

An idea on how to increase cruiser survivability
Admiral_noodle replied to Penguin_mafia's topic in General Discussion
But it depends what you want from the game... Yes if you need grind credits and XP you want to maximise damage. Keeping your team in the game long evough to max damage *might* mean you need to do things to help the team! Also if you max damage, you'll likely help the rest of your team win... Now I have plenty creds and I'm not in a suicidal rush for XP. Therefore I play to win. I like winning. Usually I get decent damage and XP this way anyway. But back to cruisers... -
New Mexico all the way. Right tier for fun games and you meet all my other favourite ships and sink them I love that ship more than Kongo now
-
It is always nice when someone rages in chat at you to go to the end screens. 99% of the time you'll be above them But at the end of the day this is a game we play to have fun. And so do other people. So I can't get too moody with it for long. Otherwise what's the point.
-
Well... If it upsets you that much. Good call.

An idea on how to increase cruiser survivability
Admiral_noodle replied to Penguin_mafia's topic in General Discussion
Er. Why is it getting personal? Both sets of stats seem good to me? You're arguing over a tiny detail. Damage is important to winning and winning is the point of playing. You both have valid view points... -
Imperator Nikolai I available in the Premium Shop
Admiral_noodle replied to Kurbain's topic in Archive
Im almost as good in Wyoming and Arkansas as I am in Imperator. But that's because I know not to show broadside and have map awareness. But the OP-ness of imperator is mostly down to the way it makes you play with proper angling. I got caught out by a New York the other day and got annihilated by a broadside. She sinks and burns just as well as other ships. But if I'm facing one on Murmansk I always try to get some damage in Murmansk is pretty good too but yeah. It doesn't need to be sold any more given its power. I'm not not going to play her though. I didn't buy her thinking she was op. I bought her because she looks crazy and I like mid tier games. -

Thanks . Well when I sail her I like to think I'm helping my team mates get their win rather than seal clubbing. She isn't great at tier 6. I even had two losses in a row in her yesterday. Got her because I like BBs. And credits and fun. She is a little bit op and easy to play so I only really use her for BB damage missions. I do prefer to play competetive or even op ships to garbage though. -
????? Click on ship so targeted for secondaries when in range. Please. What's your point? if troll will continue to ask for clarification.
-
Please explain. Nothing to see at 47s

I have 81% WR and 59k avg damage in 47 games. She is OP. She has weaknesses: - slow. - poor AA - not very resistant to torpedoes But... - trollish armour angled - turret placement enabling trollish angling - turret placement enabling very tight salvoes - people around tier IV don't know how to exploit her weaknesses (like... Fire at her guns! They fall off) So on paper just "good". In battle, OP. And stats prove it. -
I wasn't even top of the team in my losses. 1st game. Kirov win. Got blown up. Mid table. 2nd game. New Mexico loss. Tier 8 game. Sunk by tirpitzeseses. Third place. Nuked a Pepsi tho. 3rd game. Imperator. Buzz are game on strait where the enemy all yolo'd like bots do. And it kinda worked. Fourth place. Loss. 4th game. Imperator. Top tier on big race. Confederate, first blood. Top of team. Loss. 5th game. Arkansas in new dawn. Entire team hangs back and we lose all three caps. I try to push. Angle against enemy Wyoming. Wild Kongo appears and double citadels. Finished off by torp planes. 9k damage. I wasn't even close to the caps... Oh and I came *mid table* being 9k damage... 6th game. Imperator. Tier 6 game. Win. 80k damage and top of team (finally!) Made a lot of money though. So that's good.
