Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but maybe knocking some seconds off of the more prominent, radar using ships like the DM or Worcester would be useful. IMO it feels too easy to use, some ships having nearly a minute of boosted detection range. Having a coordinated division can abuse the length of the consumable. Even in random battles it sometimes feels too punishing to be caught by it just because that it gives the team using it so long to change focus onto the newly detected ship. I don't mind how it functions overall, maybe starting it on cooldown like torpedoes instead so it's not so strong in the early game would be another approach.
