    Jurua in the shop

Now at to that the "Golden Rooster" flag - had something with the chinese Year of the Rooster ot whatnot - and You can state in chat that you "let proudly fly Your golden c*ck in the winds" which rewarded me with a shipload of "WTF????"s over the years...

Win Rate, what is that mean?

But Your personal skill makes the difference. A 54% average winrate player - like... maybe... me? - getting into a battle with only 47% average winrate players - like You - should (!) be skilled enough to make an impact and help his team to win more battles than they lose. While on the other hand a 47% average winrate player - like You - teamed up with only 54% average winrate players - like me and many others here on the forum - probably only makes an impact in a negative fashion by f*cking up and being the one little stone that starts the avalanche of loss. Which is, in the end, what leads to You having a 47% average winrate and others having 54%+ Or, to say it easier: You're a potato and should git gud!

And also nice to see they concentrate on the important things...
  4. Yep, looks like an average battle nowadays... DeadEye potatoes try to stay at long range to make the best out of their inability to think tactically, giving up on the caps or on supporting their team and by that assuring the loss... Guess that battle didn't really take that long, right @El2aZeR?

Right now it's more the teams that decide about the win-% of potato CV players like me... When even this doesn't help to win a battle, the power of influence of a CV is kinda limited. Not that this would be an average result for me... Add to that, getting thrown into +2 battles also limits the deciding power of CVs. Doesn't mean they are not still OP and bad for the the game/meta, but as there one of those nasty buggers on each team it leads at least not too much onesided battles per se, unless one of the CVs is me and the other one is a good player, while - for once - the teams themselves are kinda equally-ish skilled.

Bubba-S review of ranked testseason and the future

The best things about ranked are I have utterly no need to play it it takes a bunch of potatoes out of the random battle queue ... well, that's about it from my pov ^v^

Any Plans on giving Graf Zeppelin some Love ?

Sooo... as soon as a CV get's mistreated by the skill reework it needs a buff... But when non-CV classes get shafted it's not worth mentioning? Don't call for Buffs for GZ, call for CHANGES to the stupid captain skill reework, dummies...

Detectability range timer after shoot. (20 sec)

Which would strangely mostly benefit BaBBies, which keep the ability to go invisble after shooting, while cruisers and DDs don't.. so your "opinion" is flawed. Making the gun bloom a derivate of gun calibre would be an easy and also easily understandable solution though. (Gun Calibre (in mm) divided by 10) s would give most BBs a gun bloom of more than their reload, bringing into game the tactical aspect which You mentioned above (but probably should not be used for BaBBies, because WG and reason and money), while allowing other classes to also choose to reasonably "dark" after firing. But as this is too logical too easy to implement restrictive to BBs, as they would need have to use brains to work with it, hence would probably threaten the monetary base upon WGs game comcept is set upon we never see anything like that....

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

Some battles just seem to be unwinnable... PotatoAlert told me it was a 48% vs. 45% winrates battle... with me in the 48% team. Still DDs was happy to play "sit in smoke and catch torpedoes", Cruisers doing the "spam HE at BBs and ignore the DDs the CV spots for us" and BBs doing the "stay away from the cap because it looks toxic" thingy... After spotting and damageing the enemy Sims (!) as my first target and shoving it away from a cap I went after that Normandie near the same cap next and got that "First Blood" award from it. And after that it was just trying to keep up with the enemy kill-wise, while having to watch the teammates falter all around me. Even doing 50% of my team's capping wasn't enough to carry it.. I failed...

Great source for income for WG: Sell the poison first, then let the people buy the antidote... rinse.. repeat.. Vodka and Females of negotiable virtue aren't cheap.. not even in Russia (and all of it'f former appendixes).

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

Had caught me nasty flu with fever and shiet for some four days, so I did my first weekends since monday today... Got 7 wins in 8 battles, but only really two worth mentioning The Krispy Kreme Daily... sooo... I got into a T6 battle with a weird - and I mean WEIRD - MM. Including T6 BBs, T5 BBs, T4 BB (!) and a T6 and a T4 DD on my team against two T6 and a T5 DD on the enemy team... I mean.. WTF???? So...Fault Line, Domination, with me on the north-eastern side, with New York, an Aoba and a V-170. The DD advanced too fast and to far and got blapped... The New York wasn't hurrying to support us, the Aobo hugged the island and waited for... well... probably enemies sailing into it's bow? So I did my best DD impersonation and circled and wiggled and dodged... which allowed me to get away with nearly 50% health still there. Which was okay-ish with a DD, a Nürnberg and the enemy New York sending shells in my direction. So a bit later when the enemies really came around the corner the Aoba had it's great appearance... which didn't exactly run as expected. It's torps failed to sink the Nürnberg, which on the other hand also missed the Aoba which then got blapped by the New Mexico... But finally the cavalry - aka my teams New Mexico - entered the fight. So I finally could turn to enter the fight myself, again. The Nürnberg got sunk first by the NM, then the two NMs started trading salvoes while I was allowed to do what Krispy Kremes usually do... shooting lots of HE at BBs It was slightly unfortunate that two more enemy BBs - an Iron Duke and a Ichizuchi - came around the corner... a bit later our New Mexico went Boom... then our Weser did a nice AP dump on the ItchySuzi, making it go Boom, too. Leaving me with a near dead New Mexico and a slightly better healthed Iron Duck. At 6km. Getting closer. Which isn't the best thing to do, when is not able to finish that half-dead Krispy Kreme fast enough. So manage to first set the Iron Duck on fire, then send some torps aways and even shoot a final bye-bye into the New Mexico... then my battle was done... unless... not for my torps, which nicely all hit that straight-sailing Iron Duck... and sank it. Took a couple minutes for the rest of my team to mop up the last enemies... only one lousy sinker... but 90k damage done and 4.6k PR The other one worth talking about was in my Prinz Eitel Friedrich with a secondaries skilled captain as the "high tier" BB. Got 3 sinkers.. a dumb cruiser, a dumb DD and a slightly not so dumb DD. And gathering some more damage after that. Yes, it ended with a win, too... 3 sinkers (one by the secondaries), 77k damage done, 2.9k PR... Secondary BBs unplayable? My a*se...

What is it with all these battleships running away

Fun Fact from today: Took my DeadEye skilled Thunderer to battle. I wasn't too astonished to end in a battle with 5 BBs per team, of which was 3 per team Thunderers, and three DDs per team. Now when the battle started, it was easy to see which side had the Thunderers who seemed to have to understood how the skill works. Our Thunderers - including me - followed our DDs and started shelling enemy DDs as soon as they was spotted. The enemy Thunderers sat behind and tried the same... but soon they lost the "spotting battle" as their DDs got sunk and ours managed to get into their "normal spotting range". Nothing better than having enemies trying to score hits from their long range, without the DE bonus while your bonus is working. Just doing a bit wiggling with the backside and advancing steadily, while the enemy paddles backwards, not even trying to get close to any of the three caps our team had taken... I didn't even do that much damage. We didn't even had to sink too many enemy ships (yeah, two of the DDs and a Cruiser or so..) but losing only one ship your self and holding all three caps ended the battle fast. Looks to me this spook will go one for a while longer, until at least a couple players learned that backpedalling won't help them much. And then we're probably soon back to the usual island-humping-campfest we had before DE

Cruisers no longer have a role

I always love these threads that state global truths that are only working for T10 Easiest thing to do to still have fun when playing cruisers and doing their "job(s)" = play medium tier... After a couple days of a flu induced pause in my game playing, I did three games in cruisers - and some in CVs and BBs - and had fun in my Zara, Fiji and Krispy Kreme... looked as they were utterly playable to me.

    Fix your game

I assume that WG is greedy enough to check the source(s) of their income. And to do things to make these source(s) happy. Which, considering what the probable main source of income for WG is, explains many descisions WG did during the last years...

    Fix your game

Probably it is very depending on what the people who spend the most money on the game - aka potatoes - define as "fun fit paying for". I bet many love a concept like "camp the map edge and shoot all you glorious shells over half the map to impact around the ship you targeted again and again and again but sometime also make nice boom-boom explosions happen on that ship for nice HE damage even though it has not impact on the result of the battle, which doesn't matter in the end as you got a premium account so you're a pro player anyway..." Probably WG has made predictions about the money they could make with the different options and "making the game better" ended not on the first place of that list.

    Log-in Animation and False Expectations

The worst is that they remove Ocean from the rotation of mid/lower tiers... In the days of old there was a smaller map version for the lower tier ships, which, as I think, did a lot for educating new players.

    Radio Location - I like.

I use it on ships with which I intend to hunt enemy DDs. I don't use it on all DDs I play, as for the points could be use for other skills on these ships. It's nice to get RPF'd and to try to "pull" the enemy that got me located to a map edge. It's a bit as DeadEye... if the player who uses it knows what it does and how to interpret it / activate it in the case of DE isn't a potato it can be a really useful skill. If not it's a utter waste of skill points.

    CV warning system

I would still love to get a CV warning the moment when the MM assigns me to a battle with the option to cancel to go to that battle... ^^
  23. except for tons of BaBBies who try to not get their hull paint scratched and are happy to make boom-boom sounds and shriek excitedly even when all their full salvos hit nothing but water... The skill is - in my opinion - not as powerfull as many seem to think it to be, as it's mostly used by potatoes who wouldn't hit the inside of a barn with a shotgun. The - fewer - players who use the skill and know how to use it are the ones that cause problems. As with most OP ships and skills and whatever...

Removal of the Kamikaze from the game.

Just because I still use the same captain on all of my french BBs... During the last 21 days they got Normandie - 8 battles, 62.5% WR, 72k average damage, 1.88 average kills - secondaries skilled... Dunkerque - 7 battles, 85.7% WR, 52k average damage, 0.86 average kills - see above Strasbourg - 7 battles, 57.1% WR, 44k average damage, 0.57 average kills - see above Jean Barth - 2 battles, 199% WR, 78k average damage, 1 average kill - see above So... well, I don't have the impression that my BBs get all the time r*ped by Kamikazes or that skilling DeadEye is a "must", except for potatoes, who usully get worth after choosing it...
