To make some money of course. And yes, WG does it's best to get as many players and especially lesser skilled players into the high tiers. Check the tier of ships that can be bought for money and - 'oppla - they ended up selling T10 ships, even they had stated they were not doing this ever... I don't think even bad of WG for this marketing strategy. They have to make some money to keep the game going. And it keeps the potatoes out of the tiers that really interest me... win-win situation... -

When players notice that DDs are too hard to play for them, they usually go to the class that invented "damage from afar" in the first place: BBs. Only when they fail at these they start looking for another option... at the time of RTS CVs there was none, as then CVs really needed skills... only after the Reeework these "Must not go close to enemy" players flocked to CVs... and now are probably are back to being BaBBies

Considering it had been playing CVs before (!) the CV reeework (!!!) up to T8 (!!!!) one might think this has to be a troll attempt. I rather think little Billy got the data for his daddy's account and want to get those shiny (useless) emblems...

Don't make WG change this strategy... dragging all potatoes to T10 is a great thing, as by this don't infest the lower tiers that much and don't spoil the fun one can have at T4 to T7 -

No, stopping spending is next.. stopping playing is the last. One can still have quite a lot of fun in the game without spending a cent for it.

Well, maybe a greeting like "Hello, you p*sspoor s*ckers, get ready to being gangr*ped by a countless stream of unstoppable planes!" isn't what WG sees as "friendly"? I do, too. Which why I love to play DDs and cruisers... and BBs... but I'm not ready to delve into the depths of griefing by playing CVs (for more than the 100 battles with several CVs for scientific research reasons) I only report CV players on my team. And only if it looks as if they seem to be even worse at playing CVs than I am. Which would mean that they are really, really bad.

There's a whole class of these ships: Potatocontrolled HE shooting BaBBies... peppering other BBs with HE in the hope to sink them, racking in enormous amount of damage but not playing for the goals of the battle... You're proabably a lot better at CVs than me... Just take me as an example... My average winrate at T6 ships (used because I didn't go higher than T6 with reeeworked CVs) is 55.15% (solo, which isn't that bad...) With the three T6 CVs that I played to 100 battles each I reached: Ryujo 59%, Ranger 50% and Furious 48% (Ranger and Furious after "AA buffs" and constantly uptiered into T8 though) giving me a stunning 52.33% proving that I am an utterly and useless potato with CVs. And more than "pretty terrible". And still better than quite a lot of CV player that struggle to go above 45% winrate.... -
You sure about that? Someonetm here on the forum wrote that there's quite a few russian players - or rather: a majority - who would prefer historically accurate ships over "patriotic" (funny how "patriotic" rhymes with "idiotic") russian (OP) ships... might have been a fluke, though... but I guess it true, as it's about russians and not americans...

At least the map was a little bit smaller for the low(er) tier version... And yes, I loved Ocean then and I still love it now... all the confusion shown by those poor little helpless players looking for an island-waifu to cuddle with... And yes, I love it in any class I love (maybe not with every SHIP I play, but that's a different matter...) and usually do quite good on it. Maybe because it was so much more often dialed out to us veteran players in them olden days... -
& = get used to take the flak for not spotting DDs (which was the complaint that I replied to... kinda...) For me the above reads like: waaaaaaaahhhhhh my damage.... wahhhhh.... If playing for the win is secondary behind "I wanna do damage..." taking the flak should be expected.

I usually rather give CVs flak when they try to attack my ship.... oh, wait... You meant other flak... Seriously, CVs could at least try to spot DDs... when playing a DD or cruiser myself and out to take out opposing DDs it's kinda bad to see CVs only concentrating on doing damage, damage, damage and often failing, as this ends up ultimately as a potato playstyle... like BaBBies peppering other BBs with HE... As WG still rewards damage done most it's in a way understandable, even though that when playing for the win usually rewards more reward (exp and credits) due the win bonus... but probably many of those "damage over all" players don't even know that, due to the low number of wins they achieve ^v^
