    Didn't call you whiny.. I just wanted to offer a possible solution to your detonation problem: play more other classes and reduce your average detonation rate by that

    Caledon could be penetrated by throwing wet sponges at it... Vampire is not half as OP as Orion is one Tier higher... Alas... yeah, it is a little beast... Being in a Tier region where one either meets really, really, REALLY bad potatoes, who think they have a chance to survive longer (or at all...) on lower tier or sealclubbers, it really depends on the ability of the player using the Vampire. Against potatoes it is extremely OP if the player in the Vampire has at least a hunch of what he has to do. Against sealclubbers it's a bit more complicated... depends more what ship the (other) sealclubber is in... Nonetheless the little sucker is fun to play. For me, at least...

    Can't say I'm ever bored seeing ships I shoot at or launch torpedoes at explode... I rather find it unsatisfying that there is no slow-motion shots available...

    Sounds kinda logical... and when @MortenTardo playing mostly/nearly exclusive (?) DDs get's BOOOOMEd every ~35 while @Deckeru_Maiku (me..) who plays BB/Cruiser/DD in about equal number only gets detonated every ~97 battles, it seem that DD's get BOOOOMEd a lot more due to being tincans filled with explosives in tight places... or maybe because there's too much rum on board... whatever...

    Got me 5 small ones. Did not get no ships. Won't buy any more... Considering, that the only ship I ever got from a supercontainer was the Krasny Krim and also considering, that most premiums I don't have yet are either a) too expensive for my taste or b) not to my liking or 3) russian or 4) all of that.. I don't expect to be satisfied after spending more money for such a gamble.

Didn't get any gift in WoWs, but when I tried WoT for the first time since about 6.. 8... 10 months or so, I got a russian Tier 3 medium tank T-29 with a 100% crew... seems it had been gifted to all WoT players in July already... Maybe I should check my sealclubbing statpushing alternate account for some WoWs gifts

    Bug Reports

    #1 - Torpedo Bug 1. Description When trying to fire torpedoes mouseclicks are ignored and torpedoes are not immediately launched a few seconds later torpedoes are launched, but not in the direction they were aimed at and at which the target marker points, but in a different direction 2. Reproduction steps Playing DDs and launching torps. Bug happens not each time when torps are fired, but randomly it seems 3. Result Torpedo launch was wasted and the target was not sunk. Sometimes resulting in my DD getting sunk instead and a lost battle 4. Expected result Torpedoes are supposed to be launched in the direction that they are aimed at and hopefully sink the target. 5. Technical details Several times during different battles since the last update; not more than once per battle though (If I remember correctly) #2 - Result screen not displayed properly 1. Description when I enter a new battle immediately after getting sunk (= not waiting until the battle is over) and the first battle ends before the new battle does, the result screen for the new battle is not shown when it ends Both result screens can only be seen through the message tab 2. Reproduction steps Play a battle. Get sunk. Leave battle. Enter new battle. Play this battle to the end. 3. Result The battle ends and after ashort pause the game goes directly to the harbour screen 4. Expected result Result screen for the battle that just ended is supposed to be shown 5. Technical details several times during play since the last update; each time when a new battle was entered before a previous battle had ended

    when I play DD I prefer not to have any other DD in the game... and I wouldn't mind having 23 BBs in the battle then...
  12. It's a tier higher, but it clubs way better than the Prince Albert. It even out-clubs the Nikolai... and it's free!
  13. As Dasha is nearly fully dressed - ok, she shows a bit belly, but many buttons of her top are closed - the "Dasha Factor" (*) tells me, it will be a good update. (*) Dasha Factor = the more unclothed flesh Dasha is showing in the video, the worse the coming update will turn out to be. So "Dasha in Burkha" = best patch ever and "Dasha fully nekkid" = game completely broken... DDs can sink BBs, Cruisers are avital class, BBs will become rare.... uhm... well, you know what I mean...

  19. It's a Tawny Frogmouth from Australia/Tasmania. For someone who loves playing IJN DDs it's the bird of choice, as a main strategy for it's survival is not being seen. It often is mistaken for a part of a tree or a broken branch.. I chose it because of it's great expression of "what the eff did you just say?" shown in the picture I use as avatar...

    Why even bother?

    Very often it is some BB calling out the "cap to go to" - usually the one closest to it - and my response (often) is: "Okay, good luck when You try to cap it..." while I sail my DD to the cap that I deem tactically more important and (!) takeable Couple games ago that lead to this: BB calling out "okay, B&C it is..." I set course to A BB in chat: "...or wherever that Kamikaze goes..." Only one very brave and dumb Graf Spee followed me into A where we met about half of the enemy team. I took the cap and even managed to sink a Fiji (I think...) before I had to run. Spee was sunk already and at B I met some more enemy ships, with the bunch from A still on my heels... and the rest of the team sitting around lazily chatting at C (in fact hiding behind islands...) So in the end it was a loss, but at least I had some fun and did score some damage and exp.. The good thing about that is, as soon as a wave of "fresh potatoes" has reached the high tiers, the game on the low tiers is usually fun again... And as these waves of potatoes don't happen that often, playing around T4 to T6 actually is fun quite often... yeah, there are terrible battles each day, of course... but there's also some really good ones with team being equal(ly bad) and a tight outcome of the game... Tight outcome like... the game was nearly done. One enemy BB left (nearly undamaged) and our side had a DD and a (nearly dead) BB left. We were ahead 2 caps to 1 and lead by 4 points with 10 seconds on the clock. In chat: "Just survive and we win.." With 4 seconds on the clock the DD did an hero and let itself get seen close to the enemy BB... BOOOM! Game ends.. loss... Still, it was a good game... it had been hard fought... fun... and only got ruined in the end by some damage greedy player who probably didn't even acknowledge that he had effed up hard... but hey, that's okay... without people like that, I probably would have lost some games too, when they were on the enemy team effing up and letting my side win...

    there could be a lot of things done more close to reality in game without causing any problems to the "arcade" setting. Starting with adding "manpower" to the ships as a measurement for how fast certain actions could be done (shooting guns/reloading, fighting fires and flooding etc.) up to a more realistic determination what vital parts of a ship are hit when a hit is achieved (as the current model is extremely simplyfied) and map design (as historically not all naval battles have been fought close to bushes high islands that interfere with targetting. But WG and too many players are okay with WoWs being "WoT on the water" instead of being a really good naval battle arcade game. So things won't change. And detonations will stay. Which, at least, adds a little bit of realism to the game.

    Ah, so for you PR = skill Considering that PR is made up by DAMAGE and little else that shows an interesting mindset... like DAMAGE = skill.. Ah well... I'm sure You can show all that damage skill you have once you move above T4 in all those classes except CV...
