    Black Friday 2021 ships datamined?

Using real money (even in the form of Dubloons) to pay for something that WG offers? Really? Why would one go that low?
  2. I agree with You on 99% of Your post. But... ...saying that there is a "good reason" for those special speciments of the human genepool thinking what they think... sorry... nope. That would be as if there was a real understandable reason for all the "communication errors" we encountered from WG time and time and time again...

I've just gone AFK from a T10 game with 2 subs and a CV.

Should I really bother about a bunch of windowlickers who's one "goal" in a battle is to see their "guns do boom" while brainlessly sail into a torpedospread that they could have easily avoided, if they had used the one and only braincell they seem to have? Maybe I should... but then we would a list popping up showing me all the "what I want from this battle" options marked for my "teammates", so I can adjust my personal to serve their goals properly!?! Whose more entitled in that case? Me, wanting to have a slightly competitive battle (in which everyone at least TRIES to play to win), with a marginally skilled team (whose members are at least able to look at the minimap and have minimal tactical skills), that doesn't run away when a single enemy ship appears in front of them or all those potatoes that fail at all this? So, sorry... I don't care about those 11 random players in my team, unless I know them by name and previous experience and know that their goals in the battles are close to mine.

New *EDITED* idea for a better matchmaking

I'm sure there's different opinions about Flambass's knowledge about the game.

    WG tells a joke

But of course with all their designers and staff working on the game spending endless hours playing the game nobody could expect them to know before how toxic Smol gameplay, CV reeework, captain skill changes (esp. Death From Afar) and subs could turn out... I mean, nobody can expect players abusing all the intelligently designed designs, right?

    Simple solution

Obvious excuse is obvious: No direct money coming from it. That "too hard to implement" part is tricky... could be read as "our coders are so useless, that we would have get some better skilled ones, but those probably would ask for better pay than we are ready to pay, so you get what we are ready to pay for, meaning shi....."

I've just gone AFK from a T10 game with 2 subs and a CV.

Utterly splendid to see all these "But don't You think about the children????" posts here... I'd never go afk on purpose. I might go a bit yolo when I see the MM being stacked against me and my teammembers (if one could call them so) start the battle by doing the most unlogically and tactical stoopid moves. And yes, if it looks really bad enough I might hurry to get sunk, so I can get back to harbour, choose a different ship and hope for a better team next. Still I'd try to inflict as much pain on the opposing team as possible until I go down. But that's pure egoism, as I am utterly sure that none of the 11 potatoes that get put in my team gives a single eff that by playing like braindead windowlickers they ruin a part of my day. If they were responsible human beings they wouldn't rush like the tiers as if they get paid for it and instead of going "uuuh.. look...me gunz did Booom" they woudl try to learn to play the game and get away from their <45% winrates.

    Simple solution

My reeworked CV stats are abysmal, but still... when going after DDs what's helps me most is map awareness. Start the attack before the DD gets visible by targetting it's most probable postion by minimap checking... sometimes you might get lucky and get rewarded with enough time to give him a proper spanking... Or do the obvious: go and spank other targets instead, like camping BBs...

Looking forward to clan battles, are you?

For stuff like this it usually helps that I'm already adult for such an effing long time and also that I became adult before the internet hit human minds globally. So I had also a effing long time to adjust to human behaviour on the internet, with all the functional and dysfunctional type of people one can meet online. Thanks, but If I would have been bothered about the questions and the style in which they were formulated, I would have mentioned it for sure.

Looking forward to clan battles, are you?

I get involved with a lot of people in the game all the time... usually by shooting at them. Being in a clan gives certain boni. And players do get a bit of oil and/or whatevers to "give" to the clan. Which doesn't need playing in divisions. And there's also the option to those "clan battle-ish" battles - the one's where you play solo to get certain amounts of exp etc... I play weird times nearly only (german early/later afternoon) due to being a married man and enjoying watching tv together with my wife... I also enjoy playing different ships and therefor jump through from one to the next after a battle, leaving battles when I got sunk early to go on playing or doing stuff in the household. All of that isn't very "Division compatible". Add to that using a microphone is on my personal "things to not to do on the internet". Didn't like (and do it) when playing MMORPGs or any other games online. Especially hearing some underaged little boys screaming orders at me always made using voice chat in games a horrible experiences, which I fast learned to avoid. And as I am an old white man (61 years old...) I can't type fast enough to do that communication needed for divisions through the keyboard. I can assure You, through all of my life being able to do conversations with people was a large part of my daily routine. Unless I'm playing computer games. I rather talk to other people about more important things than "you go left of island and watch for torps... ooops... too late, right... well, try again next battle, bye..." I still not have lost the hope that I once in a while get teams that have a mediocrum of tactical skill... somewhen it might happen...
  13. Deckeru_Maiku

    Simple solution

Tons of CVs do only "incidential spotting" while following their main goal "Do Dämmätsch (like we say in german)" so on average teams will lose any advantage, but gain less of a penalty when playing against a good CV player. DDs concealment "increase" worked great... not! Stay still get spotted by the pidgeon express all the time. You not being able to get your sights on them might be a LTP issue? A spotting consumable would work more beneficial for the team, as even bad players might learn that actively spotting for their team gives them advantage to be able to win more battles... So let them CVs detect enemy ships that they and only they can see in the 3d part of the game and only show on the minimap for the rest of the team. Or not. And "light them up" for a limited time by a consumable to allow the team to shoot at these targets. So CV can still freely attack AND do valuable spotting for the team. Wut? CVs, Subs and now another griefer class? Topedo Boats? Floating Icebergs? Arty? Wheelies? Wut?

New *EDITED* idea for a better matchmaking

You really expect WG to have looked at a proven and working matchmaking algorythm, when they have their own patented (!) algorythm, that works so utterly fine in achieving their goals (aka making money from all the potatoes who still think they can use money as a replacement for skill and/or effort)?

    General Submarines related discussions

Excellent depiction of what a submarine's crew would see through the non-existent portholes on subs... very immersive, that... I love it. Make it like so on all underwater maps...

A slightly above average CV players, who still manages a shipload of damage done on average, gets sunk by Unicum Shimakaze pilot... Also small sample size... You gave an exellent non-argument.

    How about Royal Navy
  19. Too early. Even when they only come into the game when hell freezes over, it will be too early.

    Ships now drift when stationary?

that's because the players are so dumb, that they wouldn't understand the reason for radar NOT going through islands... says the spreadshiet... ^v^

    General CV related discussions.

Playing mostly T4 to dodge subs induces a whole new world of "phun" in my world... Kosmosprolets by the dozen... Here are the Top 10 by played battles of them: And here's the Top 10 by Winrate And here's the ones I mostly get on my team, it seems... (Yeah, that's the Bottom 10 by Winrate of a total 88 players with atleast 20 battles in the Kosmosprolet...) Glory be the Holey Spreadshiet that there is utterly no skillgap... And glory be to the geniusses responsible for balancing the utterly non OP and absolutely un-russian-biased new papernapkin blueprint russian CVs... how could flights that drop 3 torps at once be too much, when Hosho had to get reduced from 2 torps to 1 for each attack flight due to "too OP" To specify the rant: At T4 one usually meets a heavy mix between seals and their clubbers... most of the usual suspects playing T4 CVs fall in the "more or less potato-ish" range, with the occasional skilled sealclubber thrown into the mix... Now... my-oh-my... tons of utterly clueless new wannabe sealclubbers in their shiny new russian toys... and some more experienced CV players who know how to move that airplane factory close to the enemy and spam them with wave after wave after wave of slow planes, that drop their load and don't need to maneuver around... just start the next wave and blast away... Another "we told ya, WG" moment... but the spreadshiet knows best, right?

    5 + 5 DD's? All cruisers ? MM?

at first somehow that logic seemed a bit off... then I checked stats... 365 DD battles 605 Cruiser battles 1014 BB battles 1583 CV battles... yeah... "surface ships" start at cruiser class, of course... MM looks utterly "normal" (aka as f*cked up as since years) with all possible logical and illogical mixtures of classes to me. And balance is not in the playbook...
  24. Deckeru_Maiku

    Ships now drift when stationary?

AFAIK there's an option in the options () to deactivate getting automatically moved when too close to an island!?! Because that might also be the reason to get moved when stationary.

    Matchmaking

This depends on several factors... Sometimes there's a shipload of human players around at T4. Weekends mostly, and also sometimes during the afternoon (german time) during the week. Usually when some new missions hit the game, players rather flock to T5 and above, to do these missions. So checking what's going on mission-wise in the game might help. Adding to this: today the russian CVs hit the game in full force. Many players will play their T4/T6 russian CVs and the MM will show it. Played four T4 battles today and there were ~20+ CVs in the queue waiting for a battle. Even for CoOp at that tier there were the same amount CVs waiting for a battle, leading to me - in a Kosmoprolet - getting a CoOp battle in which I was the only human... and considering that I'm really bad with CVs, it was my first CoOp battle lost for at least three years or so... Maybe try to find a Clan to Division for a bit of help? Would mean at least one or two more human players on your side It's not "name calling" when You just write that You divsioned with @MementoMori_6030 and me... although I wonder why that 'fun' has those ' - didn't You have fun? Looked to me that you had a lot of fun... slaughtering all those helpless babyseals... Nah, serious... felt to me that we had mostly battles against the usual mix of inexperienced and experienced players one meets at T4 nowadays.
