Darn bad play from enemy to not prioritize DDs that visible... That St. Louis sure could use video about how to play in cruiser. One thing I noticed in that video was that Izya wasting time in hugging border in early match instead of doing more active spotting and supporting torpedo boats. And when you start always expecting maneuvering from enemy you start also missing hits because of overestimating enemies... -
BBs might prioritize higher health target to not waste damage potential. Then there's also prioritizing more threatening target like one trying to get through lines into rear and CVs... But that definitely won't happen with St. Louis. That can actually work when in DD. Timed just right firing at enemy might give torps couple seconds more to get closer before player notices them because first looking at you. Nothing better than having that cruiser first start turning guns toward you to only to have that "Oh crap" moment noticing undodgeable torpedo salvo closing.

I would say there's problem in graphics card or its driver. Or HDD problem, or memory problem... Or some data corrupting somewhere else along the way. -

Why should superstucture overpen cause flooding? (except maybe flooding compartment with fresh air from new ventilation holes) But bow or stern of BB would be vulnerable.

That would work also for getting torpedoed. How about this for taking certain amount of/or sinking to flooding damage: "There's a leak in a boat" or "Missing the bottom plug" Or for someone taking certain percentage of/sinking to fire damage: "Cooked up" or "Got Barbequed" -

Aka who's got the longest range has best chance for it. When purpose would be to try to evade those heavy punching plunging fire BB salvoes... To prevent that cruiser from becoming submarine. Maybe that first to sink badge should be called as "Unintentional Submarine"? -
If BBs are 5km in front of you then your DD is in completely wrong place.

Withholding from firing is exactly the wrong thing to do with any faster reloading weapon. Only torps and BB guns can benefit from little waiting. Looking for other torpedo target if first one constantly maneuvers and in BB shooting other target if first target is angling while there's other showing broadside. With other weapons the more you learn to do constant damage to enemy team the better chances you have for achievements.

Torpedo boats would definitely need CV's planes as counter. Or then gunship DDs... Despite of having firepower cruisers just aren't best at finding and "bouncing" torpedo boats even at mid tiers. But while Soviet DDs got nerfed higher tier IJN DDs apparently still fire some nukes which can wreck half of gunship DDs guns/modules in one salvo. So besides enemy CV's planes gunship DDs can get screwed by same ships they're supposed to counter even without getting spotted meaning being focused by other enemy ships. That might have something to do why there aren't gunship DDs to counter torpedo boats.

Why should I complain about shops not selling some probably wedge shaped shoes which wouldn't fit without getting doc to remove at least pinky toe? Why I would I want to get some overhyped/priced cheap Chinese junk to gather dust? That's how these gaming brands born in last ten years can afford all their PR BS in everywhere. Basically you could count even remotely good gaming headphones/headsets with fingers of Chinese firecracker factory worker. -

AA range seems to be also lot bigger. In Gremy it's 2km basically making AFT double mandatory. -
What kind? One or two client patches ago first modpack with Minimap/damage counter mod prevented from getting into match.

How about Coup de Grace to barely alive Minekaze from 12km range in DD? No sense to waste storage space and hardware resources for recording always. Lot more "economical" to enable replays and do any video from replay if match had something special. Replay playback even has speed controls so you can slow it down for getting that juicy screenshot. Must have won lottery. Got through patching with only one error needing only one click to proceed: - Started WoWs launcher as admin - Downloading of first part of the patch went well - Until getting unable to extract error - But after acknowledging error pressing restart (next to Play button) extracted first part of the patch - And localization update part went normally

Has anyone who has managed to download patch checked if it breaks 0.5.2(.1) replays? Anyway I think I might still wait a few hours before trying my luck with patching...

Actually you wouldn't even have to do all that downloading and installing. Game is self contained inside its directory so you could just copy it from one place (or PC) to another. Just remove preferences.xml file before opening it in laptop because its settings might not work in laptop.

I have actually seen Königsberg behaving such. It had collided to island, then slowly backed away and against slowly forward. While I citadelled it to bottom in DD...

They're almost pure gunships. 130mm AP you get at T5 citadels broadsiding Kuma up to 10km, Phoenix/Omaha up to 9km and so on. Königsberg to similar range. At 5km hitting angle isn't anymore precise and from closer range you'll just shoot through belt armor of most non-heavily armored cruisers unless it's considerably angled.

And somehow one St. Louis got himself detonated with 0 xp... with only enemy having Devastating Strike being Nicholas with guns unable to detonate it and short range torps! At least managed to push and pull that reluctant team to victory with 2x D. Strikes, Confederate, High Cal, Kraken, obvious 5 kills and 105k damage. (and enemy Tenryo was friendly enough to show his side for citadel hits preventing need to waste time shooting DD HEs)
