    Friendly torp fire

At the same time credit/XP penalty should have been increased. Now it got probably lowered. Actually that could be the solution: Decrease "friendly" torpedo damage to say 10% but multiply credits/XP penalty making sure those who can't be bothered to learn use of torps keep running at deficit.

That they test straight in spawn area once reloaded.

Which year are you planning to sort out the ctrl key problem?

One thing worth checking might be making sure that Sticky Keys are completely disabled and can't be enabled accidentally. You never know if Windows actually works like it's supposed so that would be one variable to eliminate.

Sergei, load the Stalinium shells! - Khabarovsk Commentary

At least Mogami shouldn't loose turrets to ships it's supposed to counter unlike gunship DDs loosing turrets and modules to IJN torpedo boat HE nukes like if getting hit by BB HE.

Cap the number of DD's per game

Looking number of matches played per ship it's easy to see where one big problem is: http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20160123/eu_2month/average_ship.html There's lot less gunship DDs than torpedo boats. For every USN DD there's two to three IJN DDs, and Soviet high tier DDs are still lot fewer. No doubt because of them being harder to learn/play effectively in the first place. And then if they manage to spot that IJN DD one salvo from it can wreck half of guns/modules. (+ being targeted by enemy cruisers)

    Battleships aka XP punchbags

That short planning ahead isn't enough even in DD because even heaviest WoT tank is ballerina compared to ships. Also positioning choises should be planned many minutes ahead, because torps are slow with mostly very limited range compared to map size... And even with DD moving bigger distances on map takes lots of time. (with guns being slow damage doers, besides risking detection) BB would need basically planning ahead at least minute because of slow speed, turning and gun traverse. That 15-30s planning ahead would suffice only for which target to shoot next. (broadside showing/unaware straigth line sailing cruiser coming to line of sight etc...) And being in right place to carry team needs way more planning ahead.

    Bounty Hunting

50% victory bonus to XP doesn't do it so how would that do it any better? And awfully lots of players are already bad enough at tunnel visioning to less important targets instead of switching to those which should be prioritized.

Because of victory bonus any percentage differences could be just skipped straight if getting highest score despite of defeat. That team sucked hard... But that 50% more than next best in victory is still rather little for real carrying. Fair MM...

    Suggestions to mechanics

That plane circling around ship already improves chances for making life miserable for DD trying to do torping. Damage percentages by cause was in here: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/41697-statistics-galore-state-of-wows-final-episode/page__st__20__pid__790602#entry790602

Only 50% more? That wouldn't be really hard. 100% more starts to be challenging. Solo Warrior covers some cases of these real carrying/pushing/pulling team, but defeat case could use some recognition.

If major part of damage was done to tier III ships that would explain some of it. Damaging higher tier ship than own ship gives more reward, with decrease of reward in damaging lower tier ship. And per damage hitpoint reward is bigger for cruisers than BBs and even bigger for destroyers messing results further. Shouldn't that be standard for excellent match (like this) unless enemy team had bigger skill variations?

Well, isn't it better to have less luck with citadel hits and more in overall hits than other way? Half dozen citadel hits wouldn't help much if all other shells just kept "drawing silhouettes". You should have bought Gremlin during pre-order time. In one vs. one battle CV would be only ship below tier 7 which could try hunting it without danger of itself becoming prey fast...

    Killstealing

Or just make that assist to need good percentage of damage to target.

    Battleships aka XP punchbags

And will never hit unless that BB keeps sailing in straight line. Of course also bad gunship DD players in enemy team help in that. Good BB players can be nearly impossible to hit with torpedo if they have open space to maneuver unless you rush to close range risking getting shot at by every nearby enemy. (who isn't tunnelvisioning and understands prioritizing targets) And if enemy team plays properly you'll start attracting fire from cruisers. In which case BB can massively punish any straight sailing ship not paying attention to aim of its guns.
  20. While German cruisers have torps they're really mostly snipers fit for raining fire from long range. They lack the hitpoints and armor thickness to go brawling. Of course there's variation inside line. And some like Karlsruin aren't good in anything except as XP pinata for enemy. (if you have two or three of them in team while enemy doesn't...) Soviet DDs make USN DDs look like torpedo boats. Unlike Gremyashchy's not the greatest but useful torps tech tree DDs have basically suicide range torps until high tiers. Guns again have good firerate and very good trajectory. With 130mm gotten at T5 beating USN 127mm mortar by big margin... though gun traverse speed is slow until T7. And 130mm being really nice for surprising cruisers with citadel hits. But unlike Gremy tech tree DDs got nerfed with cruiser level 6km detectability penalty from gunfire. (and then weaker than USN 127mm HE) Also starting from T7 Kiev their stealth really isn't in DD class. But those later ones are also really fast so best use is staying above 10km range while running at full speed and maneuvering to make return fire hard. If you have troubles in shining in Gremy those tech tree DDs surely aren't going to be any easier... Well, except for not having Gremy's "To gun or torp?" dilemma in Gnevny. WG kinda misled in Sims being that "Universal Sailor" ship. Gremlin is that universal destroyer. Once mastered and skilled up it beats anything given private time and space to dictate terms of duel. And gives some enjoyment to those "working as intended" match makings with enemy having superior ships or own team being full of potatoes who wouldn't qualify for captaincy of rowing boat.

    Case of floodin

Ship isn't small point target unlike tank but area target and with good amount of redundancy. (magazine would be that point target) The attacking Japanese force initially used armor-piercing shells, which proved largely ineffective against unarmored ships as they passed through and out without exploding. Even the small destroyer escorts were engineered with enough redundancy to survive dozens of hits without or before sinking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_off_Samar

Pronouncing of letters being all over the place doesn't help. Like difference between rough and through. Those two extra letters in start of the word change way how rest ispronounced. One nice thing in Finnish language is that letters are basically always pronounced same way. Instead we have some other fancy things to think about. You'll surely love number 40: http://www.uebersetzung.at/twister/fi.htm Actually you could still hang little extra also to that. Probably not surprise that such words really aren't used.

    Case of floodin

Blast damage is volume based. And to get "twice the hole" it would need eight times the explosives. And even those biggest shells didn't contain that big amount of explosive Unlike torpedoes carrying up to half ton of explosive, with the advantage of lot denser than air water backing explosion. Anyway overpenning BB APs already do lots of guaranteed damage considering that without hitting anything important it would do just couple holes. Which in most cases would be done at flat trajectory distances and hence mostly above waterline.

Weird, often I've gotten entirely opposite impression during matches. But then in most countries movies and TV-series etc are dubbed. They seem to have often problems in understanding that English preferred chat rule. Well, physics has certain "rules" and definitely logic. English language pronouncing is more towards case of "charlie foxtrot". I kinda remember that some rather known persons have said along those lines.
