  2. Remember to teach that Kongo shouldn't run away from Königsberg. In Big Race had to just kill Königsberg in DD because one coward Kongo kept running away from Königsberg like it were some Yamato. Kinda looked like he tried to avoid getting paint scratched for whole match.
  3. Nope, you're politician. If you were realist you would know showing player stats in game is just going to create more problems than solve. Disabling chat will do nothing to those who decide go AKF/quite because of MM.

    You're just missing something like 20+ k damage. Then you could start expecting good position in damage done,something you don't know for others... Except when getting High Caliber with no one else getting it.

    Cardboard is exactly from what cruisers were made of compared to BB APs.     It's just unlikely to get to meet all enemy DDs. Sure I may have gotten some Confederates with below 50k damage. But "Daily Confederate" usually comes from minimum 60-70k damage match because I don't differentiate targets. Besides DDs being lot harder to find than battleships and cruisers so I go by "first come, first served" basis. (except in case of priority target)

    And just how someone who does sub 10k average damage in Tier 6 BBs has any role in team even at that tier? (6,4k average in Kongo with 165 battles) There should be some kind minimum requirements. It's rather obvious that such player has no idea how to play. "It's already over? But I didn't even really start." definitely isn't exactly satisfying.
  8. Make it require all three in same battle: Confederate, High Caliber and Kraken. Killstealing problem solved.

    Don't know... Kraken itself is somewhat overvalued considering getting it doesn't mandatorily require doing much damage to enemy team. In comparison getting Confederate usually requires hurting big HP pool ship or two.

    I once had fair 80 hit match in Gremy with only one fire caused. Another time got two fires with fair 100 hits. Realized fire chance is only very rarely same as specified. Mostly it's couple percent lower at best.

    That nationality/ship's capabilities don't mean anything without good player. Average gunship DD player can get himself sinked very easily while average torpedo boat player has better chances to keep surviving and harming enemy team.

    After third or fourth loss in a row you should stop playing for that time. It just isn't your day and frustration usually doesn't improve performance.

    Without other ships or planes to do spotting DD sitting in smoke is as likely to get surprised as enemy closing on that smoke. And then that hydrophone allows cruisers to hear stationary sitting DD before getting into that 2km proximity detection range.

    BBs carried up to hundred shells per gun. For ships with smaller main guns number of shells was similar or more.

    Number of played matches means nothing. I know over 3500 match player with below 7k average damage. Doing sub 10k damage in Tier VI BBs...

    bugged fronturrets

    That bug isn't reserved only for front turrets. Any turret can get "stuck". Who knows what's the cause. Sometimes it happens when getting many hits but sometimes it happens without any major hits. (some seagull must have farted while sitting on turret)
  19. That 300mm shell would have below 50kg of explosive which wouldn't make big hole compared to size of destroyer. And it was sensitive propellant/gun powder igniting which started magazine detonations. Explosives themselves in munitions aren't that sensitive because they needed to be safe to handle. (and not like some bottles of nitroglycerine) Though pure compressed oxygen used by engines of IJN Long Lance torpedoes was highly volatile.

  21. If you get constantly "single shot" from high health by torpedo salvo not from close range launch then you're asleep at the wheel. And basically all those legendary BBs went down to torps and/or dive bomber bombs.

    DD's best protection is all around visibility to see dangerous ships like cruisers from far away before they can get close. Without other ships or planes to spot "behind corner" island hugging DD itself can become badly surprised.

    Like IJN HE having highest damage despite of smaller bursting charge in most calibers... Resulting gunship DDs loosing guns so easily when trying to kill IJN DD who happens to shoot back. Which is the way it was already in closed beta.
  24. Except for Blyskawica or Kiev in enemy team (or CV with Gremy obsession) there really isn't nothing that dangerous for Gremlin in T7. Mahan is just too slow and unstealthy. That Colorado sure deserved compliment. But properly handled Colorado can work really well. Few months ago in Fault Line had pleasure to meet one. We held/stalled one flank against Mutsuki, Aoba, Cleveland, Nürnberg and Nagato. Aoba just didn't stay around long with simultaneously eating one fish and Colorado's salvo for good "shock therapy". That seemed to make other cruisers afraid to properly support Nagato. Technically we had also Königsberg as help but he died to showing his side to enemy little after Aoba's sinking without doing much damage. Torping run just caused me to take ~8k hp torpedo hit because of lucky (not for me) hit jamming rudder during critical second of evasion. But it had happy ending. Last of those enemies (Nagato) sinked to IIRC 23hp torpedo hit seconds before rest of the team finally capped enemy base, with Gremy down to ~1250hp (+three guns) and Colorado down to 4-5k hp. Actually Aetam has Youtube video from that replay if interested.
  25. Met Kurbain at helm of Blyskawica in same team. Had nice tight match with eventual victory. Too bad time run out little before we could put enemy Pensacola out of its misery.
