A tu male cos ku pokrzepieniu serc. Tier VII i VIII wszyscy poza dwoma lotniskowcami na VI. 80 tysiecy obrazen mimo ogromnej przewagi bateri przeciwlotniczych. No i pamietajcie, skrzydlo mysliwcow niesie smierc niszczycielom.

    Shadowplay and World of warship?

Actually I was not updating drivers for a while. 350.12 Yes just start a game. Hit record and that's all. Make sure that shadow play is turned on, even for manual recording it has to be green .

    Shadowplay and World of warship?

I am using shadowplay and my game is not added to the game list. Issue must be somewhere else. Is this the problem only with WoWs?

A bit worried about the population

So now you consider showing that your counterargument was worthless, trolling? Or maybe was it mentioning the fact that your idea is bad because it is directly increasing the chances of very unhealthy gameplay happening? Your idea would break the carriers. The fact that you can't argue with it and are running away to "stop trolling" argument is the saddest thing here. I didn't even post an animu picture here. I am serious. If you can not prove to me using logic that I am mistaken then you do not deserve this "get out jail" type of argument.
  5. Well, I actually knew that direction arrow is bugged before making that video. I have posted this video for two reasons, first because I knew it will make at least some roar. Second because it very well shows issue with turning on a dime. Actually I have seen direction arrow spinning while torpedo bombers are performing a drop. Hmmm. I don't have experience with high DPI mouses. Intresting thing to know though, but honestly reproduction of this issue would require a bit more APM than tier IV and V require. This also depending on the playstyle, carriers do not require high APM, this is stuational issue that was beeing reported by multiple carrier players. One of those small annoying issues that should really be dealt with sooner or later. I explained to you one of the issues with interface, but you did not get it and decided to be smug about it and have written some incorrect potential reasons why game is ignoring some corrections. Game does not ignore orders if the change of angle is too steep. At worst it will force plane to do a circle near the lockdown zone. There is no such thing as dead zone before planes are locked. If it was true then It would not be possible to perform this little bug I reported back in the CBT which actually is still in game. As expected from you. I love those attacks. I have never said I am great player, I don't even like talking about my own stats as I do not think of them as any form of argument in discussion about carriers. Talk about superiority complex of others coming from the person who spend almost every post to imply that I am worse than thrash is rich. As for anime gif and pictures. Anwser is simple... It's fun posting reaction faces. Feel free to ignore it. @Down Yeah I agree this one was kinda too big.
  6. So you have managed to completetly not understand what I have written. Your high DPI mouse that no one cares about has nothing to do with what I wrote. You never had this problem because CVs at low level do not require APM what so ever. Did you read 2 APM Hosho topic I have created? Thing is if you would try to play high APM in a way you play normal RTS, you would experience loss of control. How fast your mouse moves does not make any difference. Also once again you did not get what I was writing about ignoring orders and proceeded to give me advices about how to play the game. Intresting. Whatever, you don't want to use my experience, then don't. Think on your own or ask someone on stream. How did you manage to start talking about steep turns and how to aim as a reply to my post is beyond me. Oh and by the way since you started topic of turns, there is also reason why planes sometimes can make super steep turns like 90 degree. You can see clear issue in this video. This is small detail, but it is very visible and obvious that it doesn't work as it should. Can you spot it?
  7. So I have to explain it huh? Go issue multiple move orders on different positions in a short amount of time. You will most likely lose control of the selected unit and it will switch to carrier. It is caused because if you issue orders fast there is a chance you will create very very small selection box. When there is nothing selected in the selction box, game either selects carrier or selects nothing, Which depends on if you have a lock button near your main ship icon pressed. No, I am not talking about selectors of angle of approach (DB, TB). You can change center of attack aso by click and drag. Sector to do it is at the center of the drop. if you will want to issue manual order near that region, most likely you will experience game ignoring your correction. If you were not sure what I was talking about, it would be prefarable to stop yourself from giving me advices.
  8. Actually, I double checked. There is no order loss right now, I am pretty sure there was order loss before, but oh well. Orders are still applied with a delay. It does not feel responsive when playing with high apm. Also there is another one interface problem that makes high apm play a bit more frustrating than it should. Selection box used on no units. As for the single unit correction, it feels unresponsive because of the option to move drop. There is a sector which you press and hold and you can move drop around the screen. Game is very finicky when you try to issue order close to this sector. I assume it thinks instead of setting new order you want to correct the old one and is waiting for the drag which never happens. Also don't worry about my FPS and Latency. Hmmm... Look at this topic. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/15954-adventures-of-2-apm-hosho/page__pid__287751#entry287751 I got reminded of it because of your obsession with high APM. As for Crank, great player, but honestly I don't like watching streams. Although watching SC2 tournaments is pure joy.
  9. Jesus christ man, it was harmless joke. Chill out. No there is no mod like that. Carriers probably just were flying together and decided to attack you. Maybe someone recognized your nickname from forum or you were easy prey. You sound like it was one time situation, so most likely you were just unlucky. Also how do you know you were most dangerous target? Do you have a mod that tells you that you are the best player on the team? Edit. Even if it was true that such mod exist. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/24797-a-message-directed-to-wg-about-041-and-mods-is-this-really-true/ It will not live for long. So why create a topic?
  10. Actually If you haven't noticed this game engine does not handle well high APM play. Acceptance of orders is rather sluggish and unresponsive, if you issue orders too fast you are risking that some of the will be lost in the delay. I would love for WG to fix it as it is painful to play sometimes. Also i would love if the carrier playerbase got huge inject of high level players. We would be able to force some more intresting changes them, maybe we could even get fuel back, probably not... but still. Low difference between between new players and experienced players = higher chances for WG to increase skill celling. If new people fail constantly then we will see no changes, or worse, the changes in the other direction. I have no idea from where you gathered idea that I care about my position in carrier ranking. I care much more about my opinions and gameplay analysis than my stats. I guess you just like to be angry. Yaaaaar, me to... Grrrrr Teach me basics and advanced play sensei. I have no idea how you know what playstyle I have, but you know... whatever. Show it to me yours, which will wreck the old order. I do love changes.

I think i'm getting the hang of CVs!

There is arming distance. People in ships notice torps only after they arm so it looks like they are dropped on you, but in fact they have to swim for some time before they are considered dangerous. Try dropping from slightly longer distance. When you see green indicators that mean they are active and will deal damage.
  12. I would actually call it Zuiho in healthy MM. Play sub-optimaly, call it advanced strategy and be smug about it, whatever. There are reasons why this strategy is not optimal in most situations, but I will leave this for people to think over themselves. I won't really argue regarding that simply because people have their own playstyles which evolve with time and self reflection. If you play in such a way that this is needed, then do it. I am not here to judge your prefered playstyle or results, just have fun. You really can't use quotes can't you? I have no idea why you started your rant regarding AAA and from where you conjured arguments you are ranting about. Well, yeah. RTS background of any kind does help in playing carriers. Especially to get over initial hurdle. But anyway, show us results of your advanced strategies and dune2 experience in action. Give me the argument for the discussion about increasing the skill celling of carriers, generate this data. Show me that you are better than than top carrier players. I must say that I do find it cute that you imply I have no RTS background.
  13. Ok, i can't really take it with straight face. Poor infamous newbie sealclubber carrier player sharana, map glitcher and reason why CVs are overperforming, as he was drinking with devs on siberia whole vacation. Luckyio, I think I might become one of your fans. I am waiting for tomorrow. Oh... and as for playing in division which protects you to get the damage done. I am playing solo 95% of the time and I do agree with Sharana that this trick while intresting, most of the time is a simple waste of time. There is some use to it, but it's purely situational.

A bit worried about the population

Yaaay, more posts from the Mister Delusional. I don't plan to waste my time to explain each of those points but let's quickly break one. I did not attack any ship, nor did I even come close to thinking about attacking. This situation happened during initial scouting. This makes anwser like that kinda... well... worthless I must say that you should probably stop talking about chinese cartoons though, this is like 3rd or 4th time you mention them, This section is about ships, not cartoons. So while that's out of the way. 1.) Universal decks should come with fighter rebalance from what we know. Balance between the nations might be a problem, but in few minor patches it should go to a reasonable level. Also from what I know there should be fixes to MM which would get rid off the 1 v 0 CV games or at least adress it. 2.) Well if that change would too complex to do, you can always just give low tiers different torps which have lower chance of flooding. I just think changing hitbox a bit is while more difficult is more elegant solution. 3 & 4) I don't think changes to flight physics and adjusting them is really all that complex. I would assume they are able to do it in one major patch cycle. As for the readability my proposition regarading torp kill camera is just a throwaway idea, I am not developer, but I do think feedback to player is major problem that should be adressed. 5.) Guys who develop engine would be able to say how major or minor this change is and how long it would take to add. If they are not working already then yeah, this would take rather long time to develop, probably at least 2 major patch cycles. 6.) Change itself is actually extremely simple. Would probably generate a lot of bugs, though. Issues with carriers are not on a level which number balance can solve. For the moment changes mentioned by devs planned for 0.4.1 should be enough to just keep carriers in check. While this is happening I am sure they are having reworks and complex changes in the pipeline. Like for example reverse spread for IJN which we know about. It is quick, easy to implement, simple and short sighted. It's like windows update. Fixing one thing, breaking two other in the processs. Anyway what is done right now is patch 0.4.1 which will change landscape quite a bit. 0.4.1 is an anwser to the trend and if it will be to weak of an anwser it will be adressed again. All that without creating additional broken ingame situations for people to complain about.

My experience as a new player

Nice one. I like it. WG is planning to do something like that for IJN, but not on the AAA level, but on the spread itself. Basically the longer it will be in the water the tighter it will become. So close drop = wide spread, long drop = tight spread. This is plan for the future though, maybe for 0.4.2 patch, who knows. Good feedback. Thank you for sharing. I do feel similar way regarding most of the cases.

I think i'm getting the hang of CVs!

waaaait, they spread out?ALT key. Use it while having selected bomber wing. Tight spread which does not spread in water.
  17. It was not really about my curiosity. More like tangable data to be used as an argument. The data of new carriers players are very important in discussion regarding difficulty curve. I would really like for the skill celling to go up so I kinda am looking for data that could be used as an example in potential discussion. Well I will give you that tier IV and V are borefest. Highers are more intresting. I don't really feel the need of watching high tier CV game when I can just play one. That video of Aerroon was from the start of CBT when he was ahead of the curve, look also at that MM. I don't think you will find many games 1 v 0 CV anymore. Also Aerroon is kinda regarded as one of the top players on the server and honestly that data is not really intresting for me. Well, I kinda was expecting that response, so whatever. Just for the future, please calm down with your aggressive attitude. Feedback you are providing simply suffers as a result.

A bit worried about the population

Doomsayers are predicting doom. CVs are tools of Dooom. I do wonder how numbers will change with 0.4.1
  19. Ishiro32

I think i'm getting the hang of CVs!

30k max damage is just simply not good. You can get more damage from one 6/6 drop on BB and really any tier IV should have higher scores than 30k max damage.
  20. Awwww, cute. Anyway. If you really want to continue this "look at how much I did" adventure then I have proposition for you. Play more carriers games than one each day. This really does not generate enough data. Go as fast as possible to tiers VI and VII. It really shouldn't take much effort. And no I am not saying this so you I can prove something like "highier tiers are significantly harder". They have more going on than tier IV and V but they are still not really hard. What I would love to see is good data sample, especially outside of tier IV and V ranges. While I do think you are just begging for attention here and are not intrested really in any kind of discussion or providing any feedback other than insulting others, the results and numbers still might be intresting. I can ignore your attitude, fact that you are not able to read, your strange fascination with streams and any slander you throw at my person just so I can get this data sample. Do you plan to play balanced setups or full strike? Just to clear it up. I have no idea from where you gathred opinions that "supertester crowd" thinks carriers are not over performing. Also I would love to see any supertester carrier player post which states that it is hard to play them. Both cases never has happened. You seem to just falsify the truth, just so you can talk big. Can I also ask you to send me on private the replay of the game you posted. I kinda would like to see it.
  21. You use quotation marks wrong. I said you have no reason to know it, as in you are not required to know it and my comment was a bit out of place. Next time please read the post before jumping in with boring implications and pompous attitude. Either way, you are talking about how I am deflectic critique, but at the same time three times you ignored what I said regarding potential ways to make me fail drops on Myogi and that Crusier. I am not amused.
  22. Calm down mate with those attacks. They make me laugh too much. I was talking about change that WG did in CBT. Back then the IJN had also tight spread. The path much narrower than USN spread as you had only 4 torps in that tight spread and not 6. They have changed it because top players were over performing with it while bad players were pretty much useless. During that time Hosho torps were If I remember correctly 4k or 5k. So bad players were scoring like 8k damage on average. Also BBs did not like taking 12 out of 12 torps somehow. Wide spread is there to help new players. It gives even afk BBs 50% evasion rate while also lowers requirments for aiming. I probably shouldn't have mention it as you have no reason to know in what state were CVs in the CBT, but you shouldn't really jump the gun so easily. You still did not adress what I said regarding that crusier and myogi or your anwser is just that I fail?

A bit worried about the population

Well planes can still land even with one wing . For the purpose of the game they are dead anyway so I think them exploding in a ball of fire makes for more intresting show. Planes which go back but are not operational were bringing up just pilots whom would then fly another plane and experienced top pilot was worth more than couple of planes. Well turn based games tend to have much more under the hood . The average WoWs player is indeed older and could probably handle some more complexity, but carrier gameplay overall feels a bit undercooked. I assume they are more focused on basic functionality than expanding. There are for example AP Dive Bombers in the pipeline, but they are not in game for some reason. Think about super meat boy, the jumping and movement in that game is very very tight. Obstacles in the level and level design are content. Carriers are still struggling in my opinion in the "jumping and movement". It's not as bad as some people say it is, but the basics of carrier gameplay is still not really there. More content like AP bombs would probably just make harder for them to finetune the core of the gameplay. After they will be happy and players will be happy with the core of the experience I am sure they will start messing with it. This is just my speculation. Also thanks for the game recommendation. Did not know this one. As for low tiers and rebalancing it so crusier have more AAA power and BBs lower, I could see that. But it would make attacking BBs easier and I don't think expecting people on tier IV and V to play in a fleet is reasonable, I mean on those tier you have people with less than 50 games, they really have much more on their heads than teamwork. I do think that they should be focused mainly od dodging, while AAA with defensive fire skill and fleet movement is something that is for tier VI+ players. Although when I was starting IJN line on OBT, there was a lot of Yubaris and I will tell you that games were much more intresting with her in the mix. So I am really not sure. Kinda torned up with this proposition and would need to think much more on it. Once again you put some strange words into my mouth. I oppose bad ideas to stop carriers from overperforming. You know, like the one you proposed. That video is a situation that happened on live server. With your proposition it would be pretty much happening much much more often. Your ideas like increase in range or flat buff would directly corelate into generating situations like that. The fact that your anwser to it was and I quote Clearly shows that you are simply not suited for any discussion about carriers. I did not even bother anwsering those as they are simply below level that would justify it. Sheer deny you presented in that post told me that any further debate would be waste of time. My propositions, ok, once again here is the list how to in my opinion adress over performing CVs: 1.) Universal setups on all decks for all carriers. So that means tier IV-VII would have 2 TB available. I am torn about tier VIII as I think it kinda needs more power than tier VII, but let's say for the moment that it also should have 2 TBs and with new data we would see if there is need of any adjustments. It will adress CV sniping meta, it will decrease damage of carriers, it will increase number of planes shot down as fighter presence will be much more dense. It will also expand carrier vs carrier gameplay. 2.) Lower flooding chance for tier IV and V IJN. - spaced out attacks on battleships of the same tier can sink it with too much ease right now, thanks to flooding damage. Right now flooding is mostly applied when you hit stern or bow, torpedo hit on midsection rarely gives flooding debuff but it does give bigger intial damage. Just increase size of that "midsection" which is immune to flooding. On higher tiers I do not see this is an issue, but on low tier it's just too easy to perform. It will not decrease damage from new players, but will stop some abuse. Tier IV should not be this strong and Tier V has fire to perform it's damage over time job. 3.) Rework fighters - like in my topic regarding fighters. They are too simple, not effective, boring. One of the reason of the domination of the full strike setups is fact that fighters are just pointless. With that balanced or fighter setups would be more popular even among top players. Strong fighter presence and deny of air tactic could also lead to increased focus on scouting and information warfare. 4.) Fix turning on a dime and readability of the drop. As I have asked devs in the gemscom question section the flight engine seems lacking. I would love to see it expanded a bit. There is also need to be done something so people understand to look at the sky and when sunk by aircraft carrier would know exactly how this drop was done, from where and what would in the future let the prevent from tactic so much damage. Maybe camera in the corner that after the drop shows simply what was the locked path related to the ship itself? Just so people understand planes more without the need for the to play them. 5.) Rework of AAA as mentioned in this topic. 6.) Adding air zone which is bigger than map edge. It is mainly to adress CV map gliding and hopefully without that carriers would be much closer to the frontline and die more often.
  24. I am glad that you enjoy wide spread which was introduced to IJN. It was designed so anyone could hit anything. You still did not adress the fact that I managed to "fail" at attacking New York and told exactly what should be done so I could "fail" at attacking Miyogi and that crusier which got close dropped. I hold high standard to my drops and If I fail I will try to improve it, timing, number of hits etc, I do not run away from my failures. I do know though what should be done to make performing those drops slightly more difficult than none at all. Not many do this and at tier IV and V pretty much no one does it and they keep saying there is nothing that can do and continuously proceed to do nothing. I do agree with you that skill celling for aircraft carriers needs to go higher. Please continue performing better than average as new player. Generating data like that is really good thing to convince WG to make some changes. Too bad you only started tier V IJN so data regarding performance is rather small. I know also about some other player who did not play carriers at all and is doing USN line right now and has around 50k average on Langley, but once again data sample is also really small as he did not even start tier V yet. Break something to fix it. Generate good data.
  25. Your stats are still significantly higher than average from asian stats. I am glad you are still playing though, If stats will show up that there is no difference between new player and experienced one then WG might consider some changes. Sadly, best way to fix something is to break it. So please continue with CV line.
