  1. Hmmm I like the first option, why, because vision is of the essence thats why. Now I don;t like the idea of cvs using fighters to scout, reminds me of a certain older naval battle game. In my head, I imagine scouts being launched from carriers, battleships, and crusiers that got a launcher instead of that silly fighter scout. These scouts, have a wider vision radius allowing them to stay out of aa and provide vision. However, they are manually controlled and would have less health than fighters, tbs, and dbs. Other things I would like added is manual aa. Manaul aa: much more accurate depending on the aim of the player, offer more fun for aa ships. These guns would be the larger caliber caliber aa guns such as secondary guns of us ships(making atlanta a true aa whore like she was built as)While manual aa is on, smaller caliber aaw will continue to fire while you man the larger guns. Auto aa can be disabled for this or enabled when a player has other problems to deal with. To counter aircraft, manual aa would have a longer range(useful to nail scouts), but not op sniping range. Another small tidbit is the aviation crusier mod for mogami which makes her a hybrid carrier full of scouts to provide vision for the team, allowing cvs to attack at will. No more dd sneaking. But I don't see that until cvs are buffed, and cvs need a buff. Because that old naval battle game I mentioned has more teamplay and cv tactics than wows atm. wows is basically noobskrieg with hotel. Shooting down aircraft need more rewards to make this past time fun for cv and and escorts. what wows does have tho is matchmaking, be that it may, at least were not fighting midways in langleys. Instead of this noobskrieg king of the hill playstyle that is best suited on smaller/medium sized maps for cl/dd, I see two types of "escort" game modes with no caps. One where cvs are the main striking force of the team. the other where a few bbs are the main force. Or possibly both. Loss of capital ships is a major reduction in points. Not a end game mind you, just how critical they are to the battle. If a team looses all capital ships, the match isn;t over till one side is complaintly annilated,points reach 1000, or the timer, which is extended. Giving the defeated team of destroyers and crusiers to try to assault the enemy fleets, gaining more damage and exp than just fuuuuuu our bb/cv died, gameover kids. EDIT: Oh and strafing would be nice. Straffing could disabled torps and some on some vessels, such as the aircraft at samar did to japanese crusiers. Or being a @#$% and straffing aircraft on a enemy carrier.
