I don't mind them in the game. It's worse when they're selling a premium ship and only show that same bar-sheet which does not tell you anything about the ship. Where's the info about Torp range, possible upgrades, turret travere speeds, rudder shift time, etc ?

On Asia Server they get a different ship.

Naja, ist ja nun so das da noch Leute gesucht werden, von daher gehe ich mal davon aus das Sehales und PanzerGert derzeit die Arbeit von 3-6 Leuten machen. Da kann schon mal was hinten runterfallen, finde das eher... unglücklich.

Except for: USSR DD Khabarovsk and IJN DD Shimakaze, which can research a different set of Torpedos. USN CV Midway and IJN CV Hakuryu, which can research different loadouts and planes.

Which again may only assure that the distribution of this ship is limited to the experienced and those with enough time and persistence, instead of only those who are considered experienced. Worse still, it might mean that not all those considered experienced get to get the ship if the challenges are too ambitious due to the time and effort involved, which again would not benefit WG if they plan to make money from said ship.

This would still not ensure that only people who are considered experienced would get them. In the end, almost all challenges so far were more a matter of number of attempts than of skill.

Bottom line is, you can't really tell what WG considers an experienced captain. I got 600+ games with CVs so far, am I experienced? I know a few people out there are pure genius when they are out there with their CVs and there's lots of people better than me in any ship anyway.

100 Kills really is the only thing which migh come in as a stopping stone here. That and the whole thing being limited to Tier 7+ 10 million damage is a lot, but you also get a captain with 16 skillpoints. That's also quite a lot of games played.

I wonder why? Tirpitz for example was not limited in any way, yet a T8 can be decisive in matches. CVs are not that much different when in comes to impact on the game.

The same is true for all classes, should we then not have any more high tier ships in general?

As much as I would love to see those ships, I would appreciate a word from WG if they are still planning things that way. Mind you that Alpha is now... about 2-3 years back?

May be the announced US premiums will help in this regard.
