Sorry OP, I've been in 501 ranked battles this season and my personal experience tells me otherwise. Don't know how your ranked games are, but in mine, Kievs were less often sighted than, say, Hatsuharu or Mutsuki. Cruisers were good DD hunters, if given proper support. Also, you got islands on all maps but Ocean, which does again help a lot, both in sneaking up to and laying in ambush. Ranked battles are dynamic and DDs will not find it easy to sink any enemy ship that is using WASD hacks.

Nagato is better than Colorado Blyskawica is a very good DD Myoko (clones) are a lot more often seen than Shchors or Pensacola Hatsuharu and Mutsuki are viable and can be decisive. Then again, you always depend on your team anyway. Hiryu might be the best T7 CV, although Saipan is a close second.

You don't. You're doing the spotting for your team. You use torps to annoy enemies and occasionally hitting something. You go cap zones which are not/barely defended. You're not a Not sure if this was directed towards me, so: Yes, you mention Mahan, but you initially started to rant about being forced into RU ships. Again, I only see very few Kievs in ranked. Mahan, Sims, Blyscawica, Hatsuharu, Mutsuki... lots of those. What you can not do is play the same way as you would in normal random mode, ranked mode is a tad different and you need to adapt to it.

RU DDs being best at T7? Whut? I see WAY more Mahans than Kievs in ranked in T6-7 brackets and only the ocassional Ognevoj anyway. Kiev has almost as bad concealment as a cruiser, which is a HUGE drawback in that kind of environment. Yes, she has good guns, but that's it already. On the other hand, I've seen a lot more successful Hatsuharu and Mutsuki captains, exactly because their concealment makes them viable there. If you want to sneak around, you can do it. In ranked. And successfully so.

It's not a retrospective reward if you can still win it once it has been announced. All it does now (i.e. in the case of the Flint) is that some people will get it fast than you do. Other than that, you can still win the ship, so you're absolutely not at a disadvantage. The first version of Jolly Roger 2 had this in her text

If you have a bit of free time one your hands, you might want calculate the prices of the different prem shops, using a TOR browser. You'll find that the prices make much more sense when you just pick any price in the RU prem shop, add another 50% and then do the currency transfer calculation.

Surprisingly, this is not how evidence or proof of concept works. If you have a theory, it's not the job of others to disprove it, it's your job to proove it. Considering that you are hardly a unicom-level player by the looks of it, I wonder how you are to judge whether other people are dumb, stubborn, clueless or if they're making the same mistakes. Actually, you yourself are a very good example when it comes to stubborness, as you insist on joining ranked battles with a Ranger. With strike loadout. All the while your own stats tell you that it just does not work very well, you still go ahead and hit that battle button with that setup in that environment.
