Am I the only one seeing a potential problem here? Friendlies causing fire on own ships so enemies can not cause fire? Edit: Since you disclosed those numbers, any info regarding compensation for victims of teamkilling? Edit 2: How about ramming friendly damage? I suppose that does not prolong the number of games you need to clear your name?

Inb4 lock and ban

Only redshirts could answer this, really. IIRC it took them a week or two to hand out the Flint after last season.
-
Technically, it is a reward since you get something for free, just because you participated and reached a certain rank. Mind you that neither of the Jolly Roger flags has any benefits.

Oh, really.

It was meant as a factual response that you can't possibly play against Rank 10 players when you're Rank 5 yourself. Also, please tell me why you think I'm against playing versus people of my own skill level (however low that might be)? For what it's worth, here's my ranked record so far:

Wie sind die Kekse auf der dunklen Seite?

Patience? Season 5 just ended today...
-
Can you actually do that, keeping in mind that a battle only lasts 20 minutes and Katori has a top speed of 18 (?) kts?
-
I have no numbers of how many people play ranked at all, much less so when we're discussing different brackets. The argument is still the same, though, the number of players available and participating in a ranked season at any given time will vary widely across the regions.
-
Size of brackets will most likely take into account the playerbase on other servers as well, unless each region is doing there totally own thing when it comes to ranked. This means that on servers with a smaller population, too narrow brackets can easily result in long queue times.
-
Not sure if he actually is a tomato, but his choice of ships for ranked is a bit dubious to me.
-
You were not, you were with rank 2-5 when you were rank 5 yourself.
-
It has been like that in all seasons. Seeing that you played 309 ranked battles in Lexington and another 160 in Tashkent, I wonder if you're not actually part of what you perceive to be weak players.
-
On that same note, I'd ask everbody and their grandparents to sail out in something Russian
-
That would be interesting, if there would be a regular commonwealth ship (or several) on the horizon. Otherwise you'd just get a tech tree similar to that of Pan Asia, where you have a grand total of two ships, both of which are somewhat reliant on diffent captain skills.

Very important from Reddit: "Armor models are wrong" response.

Leo, you could post that kind of info here as well, that way more people might see it. http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/31444-some-interesting-info-from-ru/#topmost -
Was posted on the forums already, but this might actually be interesting to more people, so I'll copy it over here as well. Flaw confirmed. We will fix it. We will look into it more. If there is truly such inconsistency, we will fix it. We are not going to split cruiser belts into such sections. Tapering them for historical accuracy would be gameplay nerf, and this is not something we want for cruisers. It's not that clear, we won't take actions until we have solid proof. Friedman often gives vague wordings, unfortunately. As for belt-backing we mostly treat it as balancing tool. We can add it if we need it. We will review the model. As for aft belt, it is not clear to us yet. We will look into it more. It would be nice to know whether external or internal belt is meant. Will fix the belt, and will look into bulkheads (we will review it additionally). There was no belt there. If magazine protection is meant, then we need some solid proof to act. Will fix that. I commented on backing above. We will review the model. We will review the model, same here. Yamato nerf request, huh? Our sources indicate they are adequate. It is present on the model, probably not viewable yet. That's right, but these are intentional conventions. We won't change this. Not confirmed. Not confirmed. Another Yamato nerf request Yep, it's not a big deal, so no, it won't happen. Game convention. That's right. NC is modelled differently because of balance purposes. On the side note: we don't consider Skulski a reliable source. He is fond of making some missing parts up. This is understandable though - original Yamato blueprints are scarce, we spent much time and effort to gather everuthing we have. We will review the model. Will fix that. We tend not to split magazine armor and decks into segments if there is tapering. Game convention. We will review the model. Same as with Des Moines: we don't split magazine armor and decks into segments if there is tapering. Game convention. We will review the model. Navypedia is not a reliable source for us. It's not like we always have first-class sources. But according to them, it is heavy armor. So..not confirmed. Same here. It is not missing, it is not visible in the viewer. It was indicated upon viewer release in patch notes, that some parts may not be visible (technical reasons, will be improved at some point). We will review the model.

She has 4 minutes cooldown even for the premium consumable, 6 minutes for the regular one. Why would a premium consumable ever have a shorter duration than the regular one?
-
There is a thing which is kinda odd with the Perth. Check out for how long the spotter plane is active.

To the best of my knowledge, sadly you can not use Royal Navy captains on Commonwealth ships :-(

Congratulations ALN! Great shows all around.

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"
Takru replied to Deamon93's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, we really should always wait for official translations of what is being said and done on the RU server... oh wait... Personally, I think Sub_Octavian comes across a tad arrogant here. We're lucky to have people like Babykim around to translate that kind of stuff on their own so we have some idea what is beind said and done on the RU server, since Wargaming is doing very, very little when it comes to a unified information policy for their games.
