Tbh, there are a few things in the new skill tree I don't really like. Or may be it's just that I don't understand the intention behind them properly, Fire Prevention is one of those things. If nothing else, it should be more expensive for what it does.

Come on marvin, that's a bit cheap. You could equally easily argue that you have to learn to aim better to set the forward and aft sections on fire.

Das ist wie bei allen anderen Spielen auch, wer neue Spieler dazugewinnen will, der muss ihnen einen guten Start ermöglichen. Du wirst ja weiterhin den Vorteil haben, mehr höherstufige Kapitäne zu haben. Das geht in beiden Fällen (Elite XP und Free XP) nur wenn du damit die fehlenden XP vollständig auffüllst.

I still think that if RPF is meant to help less successful / experienced players, it's the wrong approach to introduce a skill for that. A new skill just adds another tool to the box of things others can make use of much better. Instead the game needs to be explained better, the interface needs to be reworked so everything of the same type is in the same general area of the screen... that kind of stuff.

It's pay to progress faster. You could argue the same way against being able to use Free XP to advance in tech trees. Why would that be fair if the other system isn't? It caters only for those who play a lot, which in itself is as much an advantage as being able to use free XP. Allowing Free XP as well levels the playing field.

Actually, I would expect the person in that position to be sufficiently fluent in English to not make mistakes like this or to at least have someone to check it for him.

Yes it's situational. But that situation is there for a whole battle, whereas other skills are even more situational. You potentially benefit from it in each and every battle, at least it's a lot more likely to profit from this than from i.e. manual AA. -

Somehow this implies to me that Markus had intended to release the Convoy missions at a later date. If that was the case, why on earth wasn't this communicated? If that was not the case, why use the word yet here? Well, you're doing this all the time quite frankly. Time limited offers in the shop, time limited personal offers ingame (although I never saw one so far) and time limited missions i.e. for the ARP ships. And it didn't occur to you that it might be in the interest of said players to get a chance to win the Graf Spee and all the other stuff for free? Instead of paying for either of the offers in the premium shop? One question here... was it really easier to have the content removed, thus having St Petersburg create a game version exclusively for EU, instead of, for example, extending the time those events run? Sorry, this is still not an explaination, it's the same old same old which was communicated through Tuccy and Ph3lan before.

Elite XP is a nice idea, especially since you can use FreeXP, too. I don't understand why you had to change the XP needed per level in such a way to make it harder for new players to get decend captains. That's going to be counterproductive when you aim to make the game more accessible.

Jack of All Trades 5% ist doch etwas wenig für 2 Punkte Fire Prevention Jetzt mal ehrlich, wann hat man jemals 4 Brände auf dem Schiff? Durchaus stark wenn die beiden mittleren Sektionen eines Schiffes nur noch als eine zählen was Brände angeht. Bug und Heck in Brand zu setzen ist schon etwas schwieriger. Emergency TakeoffWenn mein Träger brennt bin ich im Regelfall in einer Situation in der mir dieser Skill auch nichts mehr nützt, schon gar nicht wenn die Zeit zum bereitmachen der Flugzeuge dann verlängert wird. Mit 3 Punkten auch noch viel zu teuer um überhaupt in Frage zu kommen, da andere 3-Punkte-Skills interessanter sind, zum Beispiel Schiessausbildung. Dogfighting Expert Warum haben wir diesen Skill noch immer im Fähigkeitenbaum wo wir doch seit über einem Jahr mirror matchmaking für Flugzeugträger haben? Expert Rear Gunner Der Skill war vorher schon mit einem Punkt eine reine Verlegenheitslösung und jetzt kostet er doppelt so viel? Sogar für 1 Punkt ist dieser Skill noch zu teuer. Schiessausbildung Weil das, was wir angesichts der nahezu ausgestorbenen Flugzeugträger ganz dringend brauchen, MEHR Luftabwehr ist... nicht. Evasive Manoeuver Würde ich nie nehmen. Meine Flugzeuge sind nach Abwurf der Bomben/Torpedos erheblich langsamer, sind also länger im AA Bereich gegnerischer Schiffe, oft genug auch im AA Bereich gegnerischer Jäger. Da sind die +15% Trefferpunkte einfach viel zu wenig um diesen Skill in Betracht zu ziehen. Noch dazu reduziert sich dadurch die Schlagkraft des eigenen Trägers, weil die Flugzeuge noch länger brauchen bis sie wieder beim Träger sind. Adrenaline Rush Finde ich nicht interessant, Beispiel: Das Schiff hat eine Nachladezeit von 30 Sekunden und ich verliere 50% Trefferpunkte. Dann laden meine Geschütze um 1,5 Sekunden schneller nach. Da wird sich sicherlich etwas interessanteres für 2 Punkte finden lassen. Radio Direction Finding Wie andere bereits geschrieben haben, dieser "Skill" gehört nicht ins Spiel. Er eliminiert viel zu viele taktische Elemente.

Tracking Alert Once this skill is introduced, you'll see a lot of the more experienced players hitting their X button to untrack targets. It can be useful but it also can be misleading not sure how much use this will have for players. I suspect that especially newer players will rely on it too heavily and will be disappointed. Dogfighting Expert How is this supposed to be useful when we have mirror matchmaking for CVs? Expert Rear Gunner Same effect for 2 skillpoints instead of 1? It was a poor choice before and now it's twice as expensive? Evasive maneuver More HP for retreating planes, who in turn are slower so are subject to enemy AA / fighters longer... How is that supposed to be a good thing? How does this justify spending even one skillpoint? Emergency Takeoff Very niche idea. If I'm in a carrier, have been set on fire and have my Damage Control Party on cooldown, I'm in so deep trouble that this skill will not save me. Way too expensive for what it does, too.

We're not really revolving around classes any more these days, I think. We've got lines that are too diverse to strictly label them as benefitting from X or Y. -

Well, it would've only helped them if they had this thing pointing somewhere suspicious, i.e. towards the map border. Or if jumped suddenly. But since it's not working when you're in a carrier, because why would a CV want to know when he's being hunted, well... -
