  1. Yeah, awesome, isn't it? Making only stage 1 accessible for Coop players, stage 4 is just ludicrously hard to do and stage 5 has Bismarck written all over it. And the rewards for achieving those two stages are just... uninteresting tbh.

    Could you maybe explain if this skill is still working like the old one? i.e. if a HE shell hits my ship and has a chance of 20% to set me on fire, does the skill reduce the chance to set fire to 10% (20% -10%) or does it reduce the chance to be set on fire to 18% (20% - 10% off 20%) ? Suspecting the latter, but you never know...

    Need help with fourth stage operation Excess

    Currently stuck at stage 4. Limitation to DDs makes it extra hard I think. Seems that this mission is tailored around German DDs, them having good torp reload and low torp damage, so you don't outright sink ships. Problem being that people usually instantly repair flooding damage or of they don't someone else gets the kill .. -.-

    Ich hatte auch Probleme mit dem Modpack. Beim starten von WoWs bekam ich immer eine Fehlermeldung, egal welchen Mod ich darüber installiert hatte. Habe über den Launcher den Integritätscheck laufen lassen und seitdem habe ich keine Probleme mehr...

    That or you just hang back, bow on, sure in the knowledge that you'll only ever have two fires max, since it's very unlikely that the enemy will be able to set your aft section on fire.

    Having people make a choice instead of just picking everything is actually great. If you need more points than you can spend, it says to you that you got a lot of viable alternatives. However, you can easily lilve without BFT in that case up there, it'll not affect you all too badly if you don't have it. It would also require half-accurate guns, which just isn't the case with most ships out there, so that approach is out of the window pretty quickly. Not to mention that a T5 cruiser usually has to fight much closer to the enemy than, say, a T10 cruiser.

    No. Just no. Reducing speed at any point prolongs the turnover time of the planes, which in turn reduces the damage capability of the CV. Reducing speed on the attack run also means you have a harder time hitting more nimble target, forcing you to manuever more and thus lose more planes.

    Yes, the skills will be reset for free, that much was confirmed in a redshirt posting on the asia forum. Frankly, with that kind of change I don't see how Wargaming could possibly not reset the skills.

    As you can quite clearly see here, the Shimakaze is being punished for not doing anything wrong. He was closing in on the enemy CV when the Minotaur found him solely because he had RPF. And from there on, there was little the Shima could do.
