Yeah, ranked is where you meet the same people over and over, occasionally sink each other and apologize for doing that. Especially when SOMEONE runs into blind fire torps... *cough* Do what the man says!! -

Well, you lose 1 gun for more AA. Fubuki loses two guns for more AA :-/

1) Will there be a different version of the Jolly Roger for each season as a Rank 1 reward? 2) How come that the different communities play ranked seasons differently? NA for example only needs 3 stars to advance one rank in the top bracket (Rank 5 to 1) while EU need 5 stars.

CVs are fine with the exception of Midway, apparently. They've seen some changes lately and I think they have improved somewhat. Will never like the mirror matchmaking for CVs, though. Fighter barrage seems to be slightly overpowered honestly. I usually get incredible damage rolls with it, taking down 75% of the squadrons if not all the planes. On one occasion, one of my squadrons was attacked by 5 enemy IJN squadarons. One of my Lexington fighter squadrons ran a barrage and killed all but one of their fighters...

1) That would be... sad. Since there already is a Jolly Roger and there are lots of historical variants of it already, I would think it'd be not too much trouble to redesign it somewhat... Yeah, I noticed the absence of a roundup, but there hasn't been such a thing on either of the other servers as well, so.... As for the "more prizes", well there was no official announcement so it's fine for me. It's just odd that AlsoRobots came up with that line and hinted at a potential reward ship in a different thread.

It does differ from Server to server. Noticed it when watching a US twitch streamer yesterday. He reached rank 5 and you could see they only need 3 wins to advance one rank where we do need 5. On the lowest bracket (Ranks 22 - 16) they need 2 stars.

Same thing happened to me once with TBs. Ordered a manual drop on an island by accident, the TBs just didn't respond to any orders after they had reached their point of no return. -

Let's just agree that there are a lot fo factors to consider before firing your torps. If I am in doubt, I don't use them. Others may not be as careful and accidents happen. Deliberate team damage on the other hand.... -

Easiest way to avoid it would be to deactivate team damage completely. I can see why they don't do it, but still... -
Starting today, I experience sudden FPS drops for no apparent reason. I used to run the game without any issues, but today I get all kinds of lags. I did reset my router and stuff, no change there. Did a tracert on 92.223.24.48 (Game Server?) and 92.223.24.101 (Authentification Server?) both of which reply in just under 50 ms. And it only seems to appear in ranked battles. I've seen random battles going down to 29-30 FPs, but not lower than that. Edit: Obviously that should read lags, not lacks...

Yeah, unless you take into account that rewards for capping have been lowered since last patch.

Have yet to see a CV doing something noticable in ranked. Then again, I don't see CV a lot in ranked to start with. And on another note, I just am not good with CV, so this might be part of the picture I have in my mind ;-)

Yeah, Pape being the average joe when it comes to playing carriers... And you can see how many paople are playing carriers in ranked... However even he can't win or survive all games.

CV are not a factor in ranked. Lexington can't do much besides trying to keep Shokaku planes off you and Shokaku doesn't inflict enough damage on the important ships. Nevermind Hiryu and Ranger.

Stats don't tell you much in ranked. You can da great damage wise and stilllose most of your games. Ranked is about objectives this season hence you need to concentrate on the Caps instead of wandering aimlessly around the map like some people do. Hiding yourself behind some islands won't help your team either although it might improve your stats when you survive and manage to score a few more hits.

Sometimes I wonder how many people would still be playing in the EU region if they had a choice to migrate their stuff to one of the other servers.

Which just serves to prove the point that the whole repair thing being a variable instead of a constant is an inherently bad concept. Even more so when there is no ingame expaination at all on how to properly use it.

In Warships, you can, at least in theory, sink any ship with any other ship. That's not happening in WoT or War thunder. However, it means that tier difference in Warships is much less of an issue with the noticable exception of aircraft.

AA is especially rare until and including T4 ships. Just one T5 already is enough to change that somewhat, let alone a Cleveland at T6 which just will remove everything within her AA range.

Why are people fretting about MM all the time? Don't they see a challenge in sailing a T4 in a T6 max battle? Admittedly, there are some odd MM moments, but most of the time it affects high tiers only.

If you have suggestions as to how to changes it, feel free to post them on the forums. I'd gladly have something reliable to look at to see if using the repair consumable will turn out maximum HP return, although I feel that the idea of varying the ammount of HP regeneration adds nothing to the game while increasing frustration for the players.
