  1. Chinese premium ship "Lo Yang", which is essentially a Benson http://worldofwarships.asia/en/news/common/about-rocn-lo-yang/ Chinese premium ship "Anshan" which is essentially a modified Gnevny And here I was, hoping for new tech trees.... Instead, more premium DDs which are essentially the same as their tech tree counterparts except that you will not be able to train captains on them for other ships. Yeah, Blyskawica also can not be used to train captains for other ships, but at least she actually is a new ship.

    Attack of the Cloneships

Frankly, what this game really needs is more tech trees.... Last trees were added 4 months (!) ago while we had how many new premiums? People are running out of things to do ingame.

Repair ability for Chinese DDs instead of speed boost? Why not?

May be because they actually can? You know... their game and stuff?

Project R is up on EU

Would turn the whole thing into something for hardcore players only, not something WG would want to do. Events like these, where stuff is given away, are meant to both attract new players and to give the people already there something to do ingame. Effectively limiting the event to those who can play days on end would not achieve either of these goals.
  6. You know, that is actually what often decidedes whether you win in WoWs or not.... The randomness makes it impossible to ensure that people who are just plain out better at the game win consistently.

Simplest solution: Make contests and events the same for all communities.

Don't know if that actually violates any rules WG set up, although it would seem to me as a rather obstruse way of exploiting game mechanics. It does come at a high credit cost I imagine.

Some interesting info around the world

Thanks for finding that stuff Takeda92
  10. This, really. All the complaints about the restauration contest really only are about the consistently worse treatment that EU is receiving. A whole lot would be different if the treatment was vaguely the same across the regions when considering possible give aways, contests and premium shop offers. Personally, I would understand if a ship would cost XX€ more than in Russia (come on WG, we know they're getting stuff a lot cheaper than the rest of the world), but at least I would like to be offered the same ship without all the stuff attached to it which I neither want nor need.

May be he just entered battle, set course to nowhere, left battle, joined next battle with other ship etc? Some people seem to think that this would enable them to grind ships with the least amount of "work" put in while gaining XP on all of them. Granted, not much, but not much on all their ships whereas you only get so much XP on one ship during the same time... USN has 4 lines IJN has 4 lines GER has 1 line RUS has 1 line So enter a battle with one ship, get the heck out, enter battle with next ship, etc. You may gain like XXX xp or so per ship but you don't do anything at all and you can "afk grind" all of them at the same time. Auto repair cost might be prohibitive, though.

    Managing frustrations

People suiciding in ranked. Really. One day I'll beat a hole in my desk with my forehead. Will never understand why someone queues up for ranked just to suicide.

Games you are looking forward to 2016

Stellaris looks good, but I am actually only positive that it'll be great because of Paradox Interactive having a rather impressive reputation with this kind of games, unlike other studios *cough* Ubisoft *cough* XCOM 2 will definately take me away from WoWs for a while. What I have seen in previews and demo builds so... looks good, an actual improvement over the predecessor without throwing what made it a great game in the first place. TW:W well, we will have to wait and see. I am rather upset with the way sega has been publishing the TW series *cough* DLC spam *cough* so I'll not preorder and instead wait a while until the dust has settled and actual and more objective reviews are available.

Eternal Crusade has yet to show anything worth playing, imho. I like the Warhammer theme, but Marines should be a lot tougher to wound or even kill. Well, they died in droves in Dawn of War as well... -.-

And who can blame them? Would you change your sales policy when it works? The only question is, could WG possibly earn more by changing it? Consumer relations only are important when you have to compete with other companies for customers. However, in World of Warships that is not the case. Hence the lackluster information policy and the more occasional than regular appearance of WG staff on these forums. Yeah, they may be short in manpower, but that again is mainly WG's fault. Simplest way to get more people would be to offer higher wages. There is obviously no need for more people or WG would more actively do something about it, because they've been looking for more staff for quite a few months now. Own experience: I've got a discussion going on about a temporary forum ban over the christmas holidays. The person I was told to appeal to has not yet read said message which I sent on 31 Dec 2015. BBV then suggested to involve other staff personel, which I did. I got a somewhat cheeky reply from someone else. And now I am again waiting for a reply to my rather long answer to that, because I am convinced that I was treated unfairly and in fact still am, since the warning points still are there to remind me of that. Nevermind that WG policies are inconsistent in that particular regard...

That's managment in a nutshell. What many people on the forums agree on is that we are feeling treated badly by Wargaming. However, they are still making money and probably lots of it. There is no pressure like lack of revenue generation for a company in general and for any manager specifically. So since the same kind of sales strategy has been used for that long time, it's safe to assume that it indeed is working out for Wargaming to such an extend that their market expectations are met. What might happen is that we see a different sales model on WoT while WoWs retains the olds bundle theme until a serious competition comes up eventually.

    Project R - Feedback / Questions

You know, they probably are earning money the way they do things. If not, they'd have changed the way they do things a while back. However, seeing that the there's a lot of anger flying into their faces (which might be one of the lesser reasons to put their HQ in a relatively remote and hard to reach location like Cyprus) we just might see a few smaller changes here and there, i.e. bundles.

My suspicion is.... it's because EU and NA have to do things differently... you know... reasons....

    WoWs Project R = Fujin?
