First off - his. In case you wonder in the future. Sorry to break your dreams xD Also sorry, I can't help it, when it's history, I love talking about history, and it's japanese destroyers, I LOVE talking about Japanese destroyers. I just found a drawing of Ayanmi's internal layout, I had been looking for AGES for that ! Secondly - yes, and no, and yes, and no, and yes. It's a legend. I mean, no, Fubuki WAS top-heavy and kinda unstable in bad weather, but the legend is that she was far more top-heavy than other destroyers. In fact, nearly all pre-war US destroyers from Farragut up to pre-Benson designs were top-heavy too. And so were the French and Russians. The British were a little less in average but they gained some top-weight as they expanded, with the Tribals and L class, and also, the first Battle batch was top-heavy and unstable. In fact, after the Japanese corrected the top-heavy problems, IJN destroyers were probably more stable than most counterparts - at the cost of speed, of course. Also, Ayanami and Akatsuki weren't any less top-heavy. In fact, Akatsuki was even worse, lmike, WORSE worse, because her boilers were a more efficient kind, so they afforded to remove one and switch from four to three, efficiently reducing the weight below the waterline even MORE. Hatsuharu was the pinacle of instability, which is precisely why the class was stopped at four, critically rebuilt whilst the last two vessels were built with a new design - Ariake subclass - and then finally later vessels were redesigned as a completely new class - Shiratsuyu - which, amongst minor improvement such as quadruple tubes, were nothing else than a Hatsuharu was good stability. Only at THAT time were the older special-types also rebalanced. It wasn't before some time after Hatsuharu's launch. If you quote a good destroyer from early war or 30s+, it's probably top-heavy. Fantasque ? Split ? Gleaves ? Tashkent ? Yup, all of them. The real question is how much top-heavy they were and in the matter of stability, little defeats the Italians, for their destroyers were, like, unable to stand on their two feet. Didn't even have feet. Unable to stand, at all. -

Considering that Kancolle is probably far more historically accurate than WoWs, that's quite ironic... Latest re-examination of proofs tend to show that Fubuki couldn't have done it in time and place. As far as I know, nowadays, the main suspect is Mogami. -

If it's unrealistic, it doesn't matter what era it is. Since it's... not... realistic. Get it ? Besides, no, once again, I have to repeat : when talking about WWII BBs are far behind in terms of vessel types you should be thinking of. Not only aircraft carriers, but also destroyers, submarines, hell, pretty much everything else that sails played a bigger role. BBs had been a dying race since the mid 20s. So talking about the 40s ? Bbs are definitely not spot-on, no.

Have you tryied running several of those in different tabs, all only veeeery slightly out of sync ? I HAVE FOUND THE MEANING OF LIFE GUYS. (btw, after listening to a considerable time of five of these at once, I can tell you that she does NOT sing at the same speed through the whole 10 hours. Some weeeeird things are happening in my headphones right now) Edit : DONT. Ever do this with Nepgya if you value at least one of these : - Your sanity - Your hearing - Your internet connexion NEVER. -
Gotta fix this. But this is an unrealistic WWII arcade game, don't you forget that.

Well actually, they have an Italian ship, a derivation of an Italian, two Italian blueprinted ships with Italian elements, ships derived from ships derived from Italian ships, a fictional copy of an Italian esploratori, and the derpzki supergroup. Ah, AND Grovoi. No idea what the hell is this thing.

LastButterfly replied to Crabe_Abitbol's topic in Hors-sujet

Oh god, another one. No thanks, I have already given. Come back two hours earlier.

Except that this is not the link I posted ? Not my fault if you backtracked in the site and searched for things I didn't direct you to... Look the difference : My link : http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/index_weapons.php Your link : http://www.navweaps.com/index_tech/index_tech.php

I have... no idea what you're talking about there. I mean, I understand, but I don't see how that's related to what I said and the links I posted. At all.

BRITISH AIRCRAFTCARRIERS AND SUBMARINES
LastButterfly replied to buccaneer_invader's topic in Off-Topic
Does that mean you'll go backwards ? Also, what if an ennemy sneaks behind you, will you first turn around ? And what if their are enemies at 12 and 6 ? Will you make a quarter of turn and show a broadside to each, ensuring none gets more of your stern than the others ? And if they're all around you ? Will you sink by the stern so that only your stem pokes out of the water - until nothing pokes out anymore ? -
