    Danke für den Hinweis, wir werden die Tickets intern prüfen. Entschuldige, ich meinte das Update 0.8.1.1 dieser Woche ;) Was die Neuinstallation angeht, ist entweder das System oder Internetleitung der limitierende Faktor, denn der Updatedienst ist bis auf extrem seltene Ausnahmen immer verfügbar. Wie du auch selbst sagst, stellt dieses Problem die Ausnahme dar und ich bin mir sicher, dass wir dies auch sehr bald wieder im Griff haben. Genau aus diesem Grund hatten wir ja auch im letzten Jahr die Zeit zwischen Updates von 3 auf 4 Wochen verlängert. lg, Crysantos

    Das kann ich verstehen, wir hatten kurzzeitig Probleme mit dem WGC als das Update 0.8.1 live ging, aber ansonsten habe ich sehr wenig Berichte zu diesem Thema gesehen. Bitte bei sowas ein Ticket mit WGCheck an unseren Kundendienst schicken, damit wir solche Probleme uns direkt anschauen können, damit es in der Zukunft nicht mehr vorkommt. Es tut uns sehr Leid, dass es bei dem Update zu Problemen kam, das ist für uns ebenso ärgerlich wie für euch. Wenn du wegen Serverproblemen eine Sperre bekommst, kannst du dich direkt bei unserem Community-Team oder dem Kundendienst melden, dann schauen wir uns den Fall an und können dies entfernen. Danke :) Theoretisch sollte nicht direkt die ganze Staffel zerstört werden, aber die Verluste sollten trotzdem hoch sein oder dich dazu bringen z.B. weiter außerhalb zu torpen, um weniger Verluste zu haben. Hatte ich bei mir auch mit der Hafenkulisse, Danke für die Info. Wir schauen, dass wir das alles möglichst bald gefixed haben. lg, Crysantos

    Danke für die konstruktive Antwort Mit den Kanonen wird der DD aber in der überwältigenden Anzahl der Gefechte wie der CV auch nicht enormen Schaden anrichten. Ja, er mag Schaden mit Torpedos anrichten, wobei eben solche Kreuzer mit Sonar ausgestattet sind und die Chance dazu wie defAA eben sehr stark reduzieren. Beide Schiffe können in diesem Fall Schaden anrichten, der DD wird aber hierbei wohl das Schiff und damit weiteren potentiellen Schaden verlieren, während der CV erstmal das aktuelle Geschwader verliert, aber eben noch im Spiel ist und weitere Angriffe starten kann. Ich verstehe, was du meinst aber hier ist eben der starke Flakkreuzer der Counter zum CV, wie dies auch bei anderen Schiffen der Fall ist. Die Balance ist noch nicht perfekt und wir sehen uns die Daten und euer Feedback konstant an, aber im Konzept soll es auch nicht einfach sein, einen auf Flak getrimmten Kreuzer einfach angreifen zu können. Hast du evtl ein Replay dazu? Danke schonmal für die Info, je genauer das Feedback, desto einfacher ist es für unsere Entwickler eine Lösung dafür zu finden. Dies ist definitiv kein guter Zustand und wir arbeiten mit Hochdruck daran diese Probleme zu beseitigen. Bitte entschuldigt diese Probleme lg, Crysantos

    Update 0.8.1.1

    Hi, Die Effektivität deiner Geschütze hängt natürlich stark davon ab, wo du das gegnerische Schiff getroffen hast. Es wurde aber absolut nichts in diesem Zusammenhang mit dem Spiel in den letzten Updates geändert - inwieweit hat Update 0.8.1 oder 0.8.1.1 dich hier negativ betroffen? An den Schadenszahlen wurde nichts geändert, aber die Situation behoben, dass du deine Flugzeuge in eine AA Zone fliegst ohne das Schiff direkt zu spotten - das war eine Folge des 0.8.0 Updates, die wir nun mit 0.8.1 behoben haben. Was die Anzahl der CVs angeht, ist das nicht korrekt - wir haben deutlich mehr Flugzeugträger im Spiel als zuvor und wir peilen ja grob 1 CV pro Seite pro Gefecht als MM Ziel an. Natürlich ist unser Ziel diese Klasse populärer als vorher zu etablieren. Auch wenn ich es so nicht ausdrücken würde, aber das alte System war nicht gut und wurde nur von einem sehr geringen Teil der Spielerbasis genutzt - dazu gab es auch dementsprechend Feedback über die Implementierung dessen. Wir haben sehr lange versucht das RTS Modell beizubehalten und es signifikant zu verbessern. Dies ist uns leider nicht gelungen, daher mussten wir einen komplett neuen Weg gehen - einen Weg zurück hier gibt es nicht. Wir geben unser Bestes um das aktuelle System zu verbessern und es wird auch noch etwas dauern bis dieser Prozess abgeschlossen ist. Wie lange hattest du dieses Problem und ist es nur bei Update 0.8.1.1 aufgetaucht? Generell wird es immer so sein, dass ein guter Spieler signifikant bessere Spieler absolvieren wird als ein schlechter Spieler - egal ob in einem Schlachtschiff oder Zerstörer, wobei natürlich manche Klassen Fehler härter bestrafen als andere. Wir versuchen natürlich eine möglichste gute Balance und Skalierung da zu erreichen, die Schere zwischen guten und schlechten Spielern war in der vorherigen Version der Flugzeugträger sehr stark ausgeprägt - was auch enorme Auswirkungen auf den Gefechtsverlauf für alle andere Spieler im Gefecht hatte. Dies sollte nun besser sein, aber wir behalten die Entwicklung dessen im Auge und werden schauen, wo wir bei Bedarf neuen CV Spielern beim Einstieg helfen können. Wir beobachten natürlich diesen Aspekt. Aber generell muss man auch sagen - das Spiel besteht aus unterschiedlichen Klassen und Schiffen, mit verschiedenen Stärken. Eine Minotaur ist ein absolutes Flakmonster und ein dementsprechend schwieriges Ziel für einen Flugzeugträger - du hast ähnliche Situationen, wenn du versuchst mit einem Gunboat-DD versuchst dich mit einer Worcester oder DM anzulegen. Oder auf hoher See alleine als Yamato gegen eine Shimakaze ohne weitere Unterstützung. Hier kommt es dann eben viel auf Kommunikation und Teamplay an, als Team diese Ziele frühzeitig zu markieren und den Schaden dort anzubringen, wo er für das Team am nötigsten ist. Habt ihr aktuell noch Sound (abgesehen von der Cleveland mit Skin) oder FPS Probleme? lg, Crysantos

    Hi Southandr, We understand that this is a significant change to the original gameplay we introduced but World of Warships is a game that we are currently improving - with an update roughly every 4 weeks. The decision to change this aspect of the gameplay wasn't taken lightly and we spend a very long time exploring all options internally for this. We added the option to actually claim the XP, credits and dubloon invested in CVs researched before 0.8.0 in the inventory, this is still possible for 21 days. Just go to your port, go to the menu that opens up when you click on your nickname in the upper right corner, select inventory and go to the aircraft carrier section. While we might not be able to provide you with the same gameplay as before, we did our best to help you transition to the new meta and to use those resources to discover other parts of the game. We do check internally, but WoWs and WoWp are two completely different games and our devs went for the implementation that works best in the framework of our game. We do understand the wish for more control in certain areas, like fighters, hull, etc. and we'll see how we might be able to accommodate this with improvements in the future. But WoWs isn't going to be WoWp. Please don't insult other players here, I'm sure you can post your opinion without being disrespectful to other forum users. We don't want to delete this class, CVs are a part of our game and we want to keep it this way. When it comes to the visibility adjustment changes, they were necessary to provide CV players with a more enjoyable gameplay.     Hi Alfa, No worries - I appreciate your feedback and I understand where you are coming from. I personally do think the GC is overperforming compared to other Tier V battleships but in general my job is not to promote my opinion about balance, but to represent the EU community in such matters. I can see where this is hurting your trust and makes you more reluctant to invest money in a game you enjoy and I can assure you that we're passing this along. Right now this decision isn't final yet and we are talking about such potential changes in advance with you, so we can get your input on this before making the final call on this.     I understand your point of view and we already passed that sentiment along. But balancing is part of the game - it keeps evolving over time and ships are part of that, but you can be sure that we are very careful with your premium ships and changing them. The timing of the announcement was way ahead of the actual intended change and while it might not be the ideal date to this, I don't think it really changes much regarding your opinion about the change itself by principle, right? I think you're overstating this but of course live performance will differ from PTS performance and that means that there will probably more fine-tuning based on what you report and what we can see from our side, as we do with every other change or new feature. We did as much balancing as we were able to do with the existing test sessions and servers. I know that we're planning a second round of free captain respec's with the release of 0.8.2.     Penalty for internet going off :-(

There won't be a penalty if this is only happening every once in a while but if your internet connection is so unstable, then it'll have a very big impact on your gameplay and be an issue for your team.     We've been very candid about the fact that the CV rework needs to be tested in a live environment because the player behavior on the PTS is different than on the live server - I wish we had a magical solution for this to be perfect from the get go, but it's not that easy. But we're doing our best. I'm not saying each patch is based on issues voiced by the community, I'm saying your feedback is considered in general for our development. Our developers have a vision for the game and incorporate feedback where possible, we try to fix issues / balancing problems perceived by the community where we can. Both early feedback & live server date after the update played a role for the hotfixes and we'll keep working on balancing. We have to be realistic here - tuning and tweaking this rework is going to take some time and your feedback for this is invaluable. Greetings, Crysantos

    Shooting down planes & rewards for it

    Hi, There was some confusion about this - so just to be absolutely clear: Shot down planes (so rewarded with the ribbon for aircraft destroyed) is rewarded with XP & credits Damage to planes (as displayed in numbers next to potential damage and spotting damage) isn't giving actual rewards.     Hi there, We're always open to feedback and are looking for solutions how to improve our communication and interaction with all of you, but I think there are several misconceptions here that I want to clarify. I understand that with the amount and scope of changes we're introducing right now or are planning to introduce that it's tempting to generalize and criticize everything as a whole, but it's simply not true. Let me start off with being completely out of touch with the community - just because you don't agree with changes we're introducing on a personal level, doesn't mean that we don't read it or take it into consideration when making such decisions. I would understand that point of view if we'd just release patches without any prior testing and feedback collection, or no efforts to address issues voiced by the community. But we do exactly that - we try to involve you as much as we can and we give you information at the earliest possible stage for us - when such things enter testing or even talk about potential changes in streams or videos like "waterline". We introduced a development blog that gives you the opportunity to read and comment on planned changes, we introduced a global streaming channel where you get have a look behind the scenes, ask questions directly to devs - and yes there's still a lot of room for improvement, but it shows our attitude and effort behind this. When we invite developers on stream, we try to get you the person working on this and who is able to give you the best insights - sometimes there might be a slight language barrier but it's authentic and these are actual developers, not trained actors - they show up because they want to answer questions and help you understand how and why we do things. We're also way faster with reacting to issues after we reorganized our team structure in early 2018 - take a look at the CV rework. We deployed two immediate hotfixes after launch to address issues directly in the game (which are bound to appear with a gameplay rework of this scope), we also addressed the issues brought up by community in forums and our devblog, as example here within a week after the update or with the gun bloom fix, trying to give you an insight in what we plan to do next and how we intend it to work. Look at the other changes we're working on - we rebalanced a boatload of ships over the past months, based on stats and your feedback, we're trying to help the DDs with the fix to full AP pens from BBs, now with adjusting radar. All of these things we announce, open it for discussion and our devs read your feedback that we collect every day here and other community channels. The same applies to the change we're currently testing for Giulio Cesare - we highlight that this is a test and we want to hear your opinions about this - also please be honest here, with GC we picked a ship that was highlighted here, on this forum by this community (for example in the Tier V ranked sprint as one of the major pain points) and by CCs, too. We're trying to find the best possible solution and this is still not final - please be assured that we don't take such decisions lightly or blindfolded. It's sad for me to hear that you feel like you're not being heard or on our radar because we invest a lot of time and effort to ensure exactly that. I'd love to improve this where possible, please let me know what you'd suggest or would like to see us do in the future. This was taken a bit out of context, in his daily work he is mostly using other tools, like a seperate server to test things and obviously has to play with values in programs, that's his core job.     Happy to give you a little extra event Many of you already use flags on a very regular basis, this event gives you a chance to win something extra for using your signal flags. I'm sure there are many players who don't have the ship yet and if you already own it, you do get your compensation. It's a nice extra for those who already use their signal flags on a regular basis and might help more inexperienced players to see the helpfulness of signal flags for their gameplay.
