Next patch, Arsenal and expiring coupons

Okay, to clarify - the coupon will be reset on 26/06/2019 25/06/2019 - 18.00 UTC. So if you use your coupon before that, you'll get a new one at that time and if there's any new ship announced, you can use the new coupon for that. So feel free to spend it on one of the current ships in the armory before that. Greetings, Crysantos

    ST, battleship Ohio

That's not clear yet at this point. As soon as we have more info about that, we'll share that here. Sorry that was our mistake here in EU, since it slipped through - but we still wanted to post it so you don't miss out here if you're not following the FB page. Who knows, there's always the option to go for a different setup but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much. Greetings, Crysantos
  10. First of all, it should be obvious that we're talking about recruiting friends or players who stopped playing, not inviting new accounts. We consider this as tampering since you're gaining an unfair advantage by pretending you're inviting a different person, while you're only recruiting yourself to get the reward. Since this is already covered in our EULA / TOS / Game rules, it wasn't mentioned again and to be honest - the opening statement of this competition is "For a limited time only, we’re teaming up with PayPal to give you the chance to collect up to €20 for each friend that you invite to play World of Warships via the new Recruiting Station!". There is no way you can read this as "recruit myself for rewards". Please be reasonable here To avoid any misunderstanding, I'll ask our content guys to add this to the FAQ. The rewards for the new players are the same as before in the recruiting station - but you can definitely use the money you receive through this offer to split it with your recruits. Thank you, Crysantos
  11. Yes, this will be counted for IJN. No, you can get points for baseXP and / or winning separately. Greetings, Crysantos

RESULTS – Battle of the Philippine Sea

It definitely arrived, you probably just missed the notification. I can see the system crediting it to your account. Our pleasure! Well there is a focus on wins and baseXP - but I know what you mean. We'll try to have a bit more variety in the next events, for now we just wanted to test this concept and see how it works and how interesting it is for you guys. Greetings, Crysantos

Hi, the system shows you received it this morning at 08:32, so you should be all good. Greetings, Crysantos
  15. Sorry but please stay constructive - we offer you an additional incentive to invite a friend to play a game. I understand that you're not happy with the CV rework and if you don't feel like inviting someone into the game because you don't think it will be fun for them, that is your choice and absolutely fine. But nobody here is forcing you to do this. We want them to play the game and if they're willing to spend money because they like the game, that is great for all players - because they pay for all those who don't want to invest but still play the game. FreeXP has to be converted, it can't be bought. But this event is only about either recruiting new players, which will always help the game and you because it broadens the playerbase and thus better queue times, MM, etc. - and getting old veterans back into the game. We're doing what we can to help players, e.g. with How it works videos that are also displayed for all players in the game. We want them to get better but it's up to each player himself how much time and effort they want to invest to become better - the better they are, the faster they will progress. If they're bad, they will progress slower. We do our best to fix what needs to be fixed but please keep in mind that player feedback isn't uniform, there are many different players who play for different reasons and who like & dislike other things. What the average Joe wants might be very different from what unicums want - and even that is already a big generalization. I appreciate the feedback but I also think you focus on the negative things because especially if you played since Beta, you know we improved a lot. Remember the "good old times" with no mirror CV +/- MM, being permabeached, full map border humping, no daily containers, campaigns or topics like EU & NA disparity? We improved a lot and many of those things were feedback driven, just as they are now - I know there's much more to improve and we're far from perfect. But we do our best to listen and address your concerns - and we respect you and your opinion very much. But yes, there will be cases where our team has a vision for the game or disagrees with certain sentiments - and we will always do our best to showcase in such scenarios why we do this. I'm sorry that you feel this way and happy to listen to what points make you feel this way. I'm a bit torn about that, we'll have to see. If players report the name, it should get changed. In general guys - I understand if you don't feel like inviting players because you're unhappy with the current game but please keep this thread on topic, so players who have questions regarding this can find the answers easily. Greetings, Crysantos

RESULTS – Battle of the Philippine Sea

Yes, they do. Unfortunately we don't have that functionality for this event but all battles during the event timeframe are counted. We'll publish the results after the event is done - this way the team choice won't be influenced by the current team score either Well to get those containers you only have to get 10 points, so I think that's easily doable even with a packed RL weekend. For the top prizes, yes they are for those who invest extra time to fight for their team - but we'll consider adding some randomly distributed prizes for the next event. Well, I guess however we do it, there will be someone who is unhappy with the setup of the event. This time we wanted to give you a reason and incentive to play mid-Tiers specifically and to focus on this aspect. We'll consider how to improve the reward structure for the future without making it too complicated. While Sharks & Eagles might be similar as example, the design for this is different. Each side has a different setup - one is easier with less rewards, the other one is harder but with better rewards. We'll see how it goes - the better players will probably go for the harder side and offset amount of players with better scores. But I get your point about the incentives for each side, thanks for the inpit. Yes, 2x containers once you reach the threshold of 10 teampoints, not per 10 teampoints and an additional 2x containers in case your team wins. You can't look up your teampoints but I'm sure it's easy for you to track your points with the set milestones of 750/1250XP and wins. Greetings, Crysantos
  18. Nein, das widerspricht unserer EULA und das ist in Punkt 6a in den Regeln erläutert. Bitte nicht machen, sonst wirst du disqualifiziert. lg, Crysantos
  19. For your "friend" This isn't allowed - our rules state that our EULA can't be violated and that covers point 2.18: Creating or using multiple accounts for the purpose of exploiting game mechanics and/or gaining an unfair advantage; for the purpose of evading sanctions; or for the purpose of repetitive or excessive rule violations. We consider this tampering with the contest, so you'd be disqualified from this event. More players is usually good for everybody in the game, since it will have a good impact on many aspects of the game and also provides us with more options. I understand that there are some pain-points that we're working on and that the game isn't perfect - the decision is up to you whether you consider the game fun or interesting for your friends / colleagues / insert your relationship with the newbie to recommend it to them. I understand your points and honestly, I really appreciate the constructive tone and clear presentation of your personal issues with Warships. We're trying our best to fix many of the things you mentioned - with other points we just have a different opinion, e.g. star saving - since it's quite a split between people who like to keep their star for playing well and others who dislike this mechanic. We'll never be able to make everybody happy with each decision and we're doing our best to find the best compromises and make the best decisions for the game - if we fail, we do our best to make up for it and fix it. I know that this is sometimes a popular claim that our developers are detached from the playerbase but trust me, they're not. Besides reading our frequent feedback digests, survey results, analyzing data, etc. they spend their private time playing the game, reading forums, SM, watching streams, etc. to get a good feeling of the community. We do introduce quite a few feedback driven changes wherever we can, ranging from small things like mass container opening to balancing of maps, ships, etc. Other aspects like UI aren't ignored but it's very hard to fix but we're doing it step by step, e.g. the improvements to the exterior tab, and hopefully more. Your example with the module penetration fix is a good one - we tested a fix for this a few months back already but the initial solution turned out to have issues, so we had to go back and rework it completely. This is how development works but it should show you that we care, we try but we also don't have unlimited resources. But I understand many of your points and we'll see what we can do. Btw. always feel free to reach out to me if you have concerns or tag me, we'll do our best to help. Greetings, Crysantos Greetings, Crysantos
  20. Hi there, We're doing the same thing that most other companies do - from Gaming to completely different businesses like online hotel reservations, etc. - it's a common practice and we simply create an additional incentive for a limited time to invite a new guy, an opportunity that presents itself with the recently introduced recruiting station. You might not agree with some of our policies, that is totally up to you and we're happy to listen to what aspects you dislike, so we can try to improve that for the future. If you don't want to recommend the game - nobody is forcing you to do this, we're already happy that you're a loyal player who stuck with us for more than 21.000 battles. For those who would like to participate, it's a good opportunity to use this program with an additional incentive. Greetings, Crysantos
  22. Thanks for the feedback - like all companies we'll always try to get new players into the game through several ways, this time we're trying something in combination with our new recruiting station. I don't understand this sentiment - as inviting player (thus you're a veteran) you get the rewards, not the invited player - and if you take a look at the content we introduce into the game, it's mostly for more experienced players with a lot of activities happening above Tier V. I'm very happy to hear how we can make you as existing customer feel more appreciated - feel free to send me a PM to keep this thread on topic. Greetings, Crysantos
