The Art of War – New Permanent Camouflages Are Now Available!
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Happy that you like it! We offer a variety of things for free and to earn - also permanent camouflages (e.g. currently the FR DD ones in the Armory for the event currency), in this case they're part of our premium shop content. The problem with that aspect is that we're already in a situation where players might like a certain camouflage more than others from a visual point of view, but pick another one for higher bonuses. For the permanent camouflages we try to avoid that conflict in most cases and you can freely pick between your favourite designs. Greetings, Crysantos -
Hey guys, In context with the recent update on the Naval Training Center plan I wanted to create a thread where you guys can drop your ideas and suggestions for the future rewards and other aspects you might be creative about. Greetings, Crysantos

Why dont we have a Community Contributor section in the forums??
Crysantos replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
Given the experience we have with this I don't think this will be useful - on paper it sounds like a nice approach, but the vast majority of our CCs aren't active forumites or publish all of their content here (e.g. LWM is NA, we don't have a comparable CC for EU). And they can always post the themed forum section: https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/forum/494-videos-streams/ In general I agree with this First of all - we respect our CCs a lot and we are in constant contact with them - and EU has the highest share of CCs in the global program (with over 80 CCs). Our CCs never approached us with this request so far - if this becomes a popular request, we can do it. The followers of specific CCs know where to find the content or just go to their respective CC's profile to find that page. so TLDR - open to changing this but I haven't seen much demand / need for this. Rewards Are on the Way – Stream Incoming!
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Hi, For now it is - but we'll talk internally about the next one whether we can change this to dubloons and we'll add this aspect to the details of the publication anyways. Greetings, Crysantos -
No, the Aigle won't get an additional mission for now. She was available through a marathon and thus obtained mostly for free or via coal, so we don't see the necessity to provide a shortcut directive for her specifically, given the vast selection of other directives at this point. Greetings, Crysantos

Hi, Could you send us a customer support ticket with a WGCheck attached (maybe even a DXDiag), please? That would help us investigate what might cause that issue on your side. Also please use the current update section to highlight such issues. Greetings, Crysantos

No, it doesn't work that way. Aigle was released at a different time and while the MBRB might be a feature connected to the FR DD techtree, it doesn't automatically mean that it will be applied to all FR DDs. The Aigle does have smoke while the others don't have that feature and it's unlikely for now that MBRB will be added to the Aigle or vice versa smoke to the regular FR DDs. In general we want certain premium ships to offer a different gameplay to the techtree, to be interesting and sometimes even to be quite unique. Le Terrible will be pretty handy in the 2nd part of the French Arc (most Arcs take around 3 update cycles), so we didn't forget her and she will be helpful there. Greetings, Crysantos

Yep, we'll keep that in mind. Cheers, Crysantos

Hey guys, This survey is about a potential offline event in the Southern part of England, this is why not the entire UK is listed but regions closer to the potential venues. It helps us to figure out how many people would be roughly willing / able to participate and whether it makes sense to run the event. We have a big heart for the entire UK and I hope this gives you the right context of the survey. Greetings, Crysantos

French Destroyers Event: the Full Guide
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Well many users complained about the current event in this thread that is directly related to the French Arc and put it on the same level as the Benham event, so I used that as example, which did require a significant amount of time and effort. I'm sorry if you feel that way because we're trying to offer a variety of cool activities and events, not to cause a significant amount of frustration on your side. This is why we're here to talk to you, collect your feedback and provide it to our developers to show negatively perceived aspects of events. Greetings, Crysantos -
French Destroyers Event: the Full Guide
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Never said it was worthless or that it wasn't a lot of time involved to get it for free - free in terms of not spending money. Sorry if you understood it this way. We did collect of your feedback and check how we'll do similar events in the future. The choice is up to players whether they want to get it for free, pay for it or wait until it might get released in some other form or way. Like I said before - it was the first time we did this for a Tier IX. Greetings, Crysantos -
Make the Map Border behave the same way as an Island.
Crysantos replied to Sunleader's topic in General Discussion
I guess it depends a bit on your subjective experience - I haven't seen it that often in the past years and no particular trend that it would occur more often recently. But if this becomes a bigger issue, we'll take a closer look at it whether we need to make some additional changes. Greetings, Crysantos -
Make the Map Border behave the same way as an Island.
Crysantos replied to Sunleader's topic in General Discussion
The mechanic is working as intended, this was changed roughly 3 years ago when players were often actively abusing the border throw off the enemy. The solution was to significantly decrease the speed on the border - so still giving players the option to turn in time to be able to return to the open sea or lose a significant amount of speed. This made "border humping" a rare sight these days and pretty much solved the issue - we consider it to be okay as is for the moment. Keep in mind that when this situation happens it's players chasing others to the edge of the map, not fighting for objectives - so the players are on full retreat and run out of space, not actively seeking an engagement there. Greetings, Crysantos -
Collision avoidance system too sensitive?
Crysantos replied to Hanse77SWE's topic in General Discussion
Hey guys, Thanks for reporting it, we're investigating it. In such cases please provide us with a replay & WGCheck in a customer support ticket, so we have it in the system and Devs can look immediately into related files to help them track down the issue. Greetings, Crysantos -
French Destroyers Event: the Full Guide
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
He said he had 750+ fuel tokens, so it would have been 3-4 max - I changed my reply so that it doesn't trigger you, it doesn't change the fact that he would have received a Tier IX premium DD with a huge discount and cheaper than most low Tier ships available. Have a nice day, Crysantos -
French Destroyers Event: the Full Guide
Crysantos replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
Hi there Fesvil, The compensation will be dubloons - this should have been stated in the publication and I'll try to get this aspect in for future ones. While I understand that not everybody is a fan of the mechanic, it's a very simple decision - do you want to skip the grind to a certain degree and get the Tier IX as early access or do you simply progress through the tech-tree as with any other line that you would play? And there is a clear maximum limit for how many random bundles you would have to buy to get her guaranteed - plus all the other items that are included in the packages. When it comes to the conditions of the missions - it's always tricky. If we don't go for a win and a lower bar, then players might do other unwanted things like yolo-ing in to save some time. Happy to read your suggestion to have a condition that ensures a good teamplay behavior that is also still relatively easy to achieve. If you missed Benham by one day, you could have bought a few containers and you would have received an amazing Tier IX premium DD for the cheapest price ever - you can still do that if you have the fuel tokens - it's worth it. The Benham event needed more time investment because it was the first Tier IX free premium ship we made available for free by playing - is there room for improvement for the event? Yes, there is - but obviously there has to be some kind of time investment if it's available for free. The current French event will take considerably less time and you have more freedom in when you want to invest that time - so it's the opposite to what you are describing - less time and you get the Siroco for free - how does that translate into us asking for more money? We actually have a protected newbie queue for those who start their journey in World of Warships - once a new player leaves that queue he might see some experienced players on lower Tiers with very strong ships, but it's not the majority of opponents he will face. We offer a variety of Tiers and activities (directives for example are available from Tier V+ or Ranked Sprints that happened on Tier V-VII), while other activities are targeted at more experienced players. When you think back about your early days in Warships, your biggest opponent is usually getting a good grip of game mechanics, learning about enemy ships you are facing, etc. And we are planning to address issues like being uptiered too often with upcoming MM changes. Our goal is to be a long-term game for any player who is joining our game - be it for free or as paying player. We appreciate both and we try to offer a variety of activities for all player types. Exactly, this is the main challenge for newbies. Greetings, Crysantos -
Hey there! Sorry no update yet, but it is on our to-do list. We already stated a few weeks ago that this will take a bit and with the things currently in development it will still take while - as soon as we have an info on this, we'll share it. Greetings, Crysantos
