Right now I don't think we'll make any immediate changes to the event - and we already announced that the ship is going to be available later on in some form way, not shipyard-exclusive. Please don't try to make connections where there are none - you might not agree with our New Year's event, but that has nothing to do with this activity. I understand your point of view and I agree that it's a very significant time investment. If I would still be streaming and studying, maybe I could do it - but I'm definitely not able to do it myself this year, but I think that is fine because if I really wanted to get that ship, I could use some of my dubloons to get there. The choice is up to me whether I think the ship is worth it. I was specifically tagged and yes it helps, can you imagine how many messages we get and how many posts appear - plus all of the other things we do besides reading the forums? I answered a lot of questions already the past days (yesterday I was sick unfortunately). I will always do my best to answer what I can and collect all of your comments / sentiment towards the design - but I won't be able to give you what you are asking for in terms of changing the event or its design. The system should give you one snowflake per ship - that snowflake should only disappear by doing the related requirements, not by selling the ship. But you won't be able to get the same snowflake twice - so if you blow it off, sell the ship, buy it again - no new snowflake. And you get snowflakes for new ships, too ;) So TLDR: One snowflake per ship, no matter what you do with it. Greetings, Crysantos

Sorry but that isn't true and while I get that you are angry, it's not as if all events have this time requirement. Take for example Genova or the epic Tier VI container for the Anniversary in the recent past . It's not that black and white. We get that you would like to invest less time to get ships like Benham or Puerto Rico, but I hope that you still understand that there needs to be a high requirement to get such content without spending any money. It doesn't mean that we'll take the same approach in the future and while you might not believe me or not, I will always do my best to get your point of view across and discuss it internally. Commanders! There was an issue with Clan Battles Combat missions expiring on the 8th of December before the end of the Clan Battles season. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Everything that you should have earned for those Combat missions will be credited on your accounts soon. There were also several technical issues with the ASIA server during last 3 weeks. Though the usual compensation was applied, some of the issues affected Clan Battles sessions, as they happened during the ASIA prime time. Thus, we would like to offer a compensation. Those, who’ve played at least 1 Clan Battle during last 3 weekends (23, 24, 30 of November, 1, 7, 8 of December) in SEA prime time, will receive steel based on the current league of their clan: Squall – 200 Gale – 400 Storm - 600 Typhoon - 800 Hurricane – 1100 Good luck and fair seas!

Sorry but you can't expect Top Tier content to be available for the same investment of time than lower Tier content. The Puerto Rico isn't supposed to be achieved by everybody and you do get additional rewards along the way. Yes - I highlighted that reward ships for other resources are a different concept, but nevertheless they still require a significant time investment. If you don't recognize how much free stuff in terms or resources (daily shipments, missions, free containers, anniversary gifts, free premium ships for directives, etc.) plus all the other stuff you get from missions and events we distribute every day, then we won't be able to have a proper discussion here with you because you only show one side of the medal. We always do our best to show respect, to listen to feedback - which doesn't mean that we have to agree with everything stated here - but we do our best to make this game fun and rewarding for very different player groups. Some invest hours and hours per day, others log in once a week - not every piece of content is meant for average Joe. I understand that you don't want to invest this amount of time and I'm not saying that this isn't a very significant time investment. But you will still be able to get plenty of other things while playing as usual during this New Year's update - and obviously we'll also have much easier events upcoming in the future. I understand where you are coming from - but this is why we split this up. If you want to get the Gorizia, you only need to get to the 3rd directive - and you get a Tier VII premium ship. For those who want to get additional steel or boost up their grind towards the TX Puerto Rico, a bigger time investment is needed. We have different player types - there are players who don't have the time to grind as much and they will still be able to get a lot of free Santa Gifts, special rewards, Gorizia, etc. - and for the hardcore guys there is a chance to get the Puerto Rico for free, but it will be a significant challenge. This will be just as challenging for an average player as getting your Bourgogne or a Thunderer. We have a lot of respect for you and I think that if you take a look at all the free content we provide, that it's correct. But the higher the Tier - the higher the requirement. It's the first time we're testing this shipyard and we'll see how it goes. All reward ships have a high requirement - for coal and steel it's more of a long-term goal, while for Puerto Rico it is limited to one longer update. In the end the decision is up to you - if you don't want to invest that time, you can go for the easier tasks or invest some money to speed up the progress - and if you decide to grind, you will get a fresh, free Tier X within one update. We know this is a significant time investment - but it is a free Tier X. We handed out so many free premium ships this year - and Benham was the exception in terms of time investment, but also the first free Tier IX - and we provide many gifts all around the year with the Anniversary, Bonuscodes, missions, etc. But we have to keep a good balance to make sure our economy is fine - we are generous where we can and we offer opportunities to save money for premium content with playing the game more.
