    That isn't really the case - we understand why Venezias were picked but on top of that the ship was also overperforming - not just in CBs, but also in random battles. We are also looking into the interaction between DDs and CVs in other areas than just the spotting, but right now there's nothing I can talk about specifically. Sorry but it's not that black & white. Last year we introduced a significant change to the CV class and it took us a while to get the performance of CVs to a level where it's overall fine - which doesn't mean that there aspects that need to be improved to make the gameplay more enjoyable. Overall CVs are performing fine - looking at stats and data, but we also acknowledge the impact of CVs on the gameplay, especially in this competitive environment. So we're trying to make adjustments to fix these issues like spotting or pushing DDs out of the meta. It's not an easy thing to do - wasn't back then and still isn't. And guys - I understand your point of view. I hope you were at least able to see our point of view and why we didn't go for certain suggestions. I hope we can change these things in a way that CBs are going to be more fun for you in the future than the last one. Greetings, Crysantos

    Dein Post zeugt aber nicht wirklich von Verständnis der Materie und wir beantworten hier echt so viel es geht - wie ja auch in diesem Thread. Verstehe auch nicht, warum unser Team mit WoT verglichen wird - wir haben seit 4 Jahren das gleiche Team hier mit Sehales und mir. Keiner von uns behauptet hier wir wären die Entscheidungsträger, noch machen wir falsche Versprechungen. Wenn wir sagen, wir geben es weiter, tun wir dies auch - warum sollten wir dies auch nicht tun? Die Entscheidung liegt aber bei anderen und wir zeigen unsererseits auf, was die Spieler auf Communitykanälen zu dem Thema sagen. Ich verstehe, dass man frustriert ist, wenn das Spiel eine andere Richtung nimmt, als man sich das persönlich wünschen würde - aber ich habe erst neulich einen extrem langen Post zu dem Thema Feedback und was wir in letzter Zeit als Änderungen deswegen vorgenommen haben im dt. Forum veröffentlicht. Es sind auch viele kleine Dinge - nehmen wir z.B. den öffentlichen Test, wo uns Spieler Fehler berichten (wie hier z.B. das fehlerhafte CV Schild im Test) oder Feedback zu den aktuellen Soundänderungen, wo viele meinten die Abpraller sind zu laut, was nun angepasst wurde. Wir stehen aller zwei Wochen auch live hunderten Fragen Rede und Antwort bei unseren Streams. Wir geben uns dort schon viel Mühe und tun unser Bestes - aber natürlich sind wir hierbei die Überbringer der Nachricht - in beide Richtungen. lg, Crysantos

    Well in terms of development we can't introduce changes so quickly, things take time. This is why we run the next season on Tier VI - where the meta is quite different to Tier X - and in the meantime test some approaches how to fix the pain points. Not all BBs are that slow on that Tier. Well the interaction between classes is different on Tier VI and it also allows us to monitor how this affects the gameplay in this competitive setting. We're trying to address the issues you talked about that make CVs too impactful for you. It's going to be a step by step process and we'll be conducting tests in the near future with changes to spotting and some other CV related aspects. And the Venezia was overperforming and its nerf is not only related to the last CB season. Greetings, Crysantos

    Some STs Ruining the Games for Others

    Hi guys, Thanks for reporting this case, we're looking into this case. Let me clarify one thing though - there is a difference between showing unsportsmanlike conduct or somebody just having a bad game. Our volunteer programs contain a variety of players and not everybody is a unicum (just like on the forums and in-game in general). While I understand that it can be confusing to play against a test ship it's a necessary thing for us to test these ships in an environment that is more representative than a pure test environment to have meaningful results. Given the size of our volunteer programs and the playerbase there's a very low chance you will run into these guys too often. I'm sorry to hear that this is frustrating to you but I hope you understand why we're doing it. Nobody is getting banned for playing poorly. If you actively played against your team or showed unsportsmanlike conduct, then this can lead to a sanction. We're happy to look into your case Greetings, Crysantos

    Gilt für alle Arten. Ich habs jetzt schon zweimal erklärt - wenn du mir nicht zustimmen willst, dass ein genereller Nerf aller AP Bomben kein systematischer Nerf ist (mit leichten Variationen für den jeweiligen Bombentyp je Nation), kommen wir auf keinen gemeinsamen Nenner. Ich gebe den Vorschlag zwecks Rückgabe gern weiter, kann da aber keine Versprechen machen. Wir behalten unser diese Option vor (steht auch in unserer EULA), aber wir versuchen Nerfs hier generell zu vermeiden wo es geht, aber manchmal müssen wir eben systemweit Änderungen vornehmen - wie z.B. bei der Nebelmechanik damals. Wir haben keinerlei Interesse hier Kunden zu vergraulen und machen uns solche Entscheidungen nicht einfach. Und ihr könnt euch sicher sein, dass ich eure Bedenken zu dem Thema GZ und ihrer Performance intern weitergebe und nicht locker lasse Wenn wir Neuigkeiten zu dem Thema haben, halten wir euch natürlich hier auf dem Laufenden. lg, Crysantos

    Alle AP Bomben werden im Schaden generft, daher ist es ein systematischer Nerf. Dazu bekommt die GZ einen Buff, der für alle Schadensarten wirkt, nicht nur für die Bomber - falls wir sehen, dass wir der GZ zusätzlich noch helfen müssen, werden wir dies tun. lg, Crysantos

    Wie meinst du das? Der RNG ist seit Anbeginn von WoWs der gleiche Faktor - egal ob bei Zielen, Feuerchance, usw.. Bedeutet einfach, dass du das Zielen 15% schneller geht und du daher ne höhere Chance hast, besser zu treffen - was dann auch in mehr Schaden resultiert. lg, Crysantos

Dazu benötigt ihr keinen Boykott, die gesamte Thematik ist uns bewusst. Wir prüfen gerade intern, welche Änderungen für die nächste Saison vorgenommen werden sollen und ich hoffe, dass wir hier nächste Woche etwas mehr Infos mit euch teilen können (abseits der gestrigen Balance-Ankündigungen). lg, Crysantos

    Sorry but this isn't true. We've changed our approach to balancing a few updates back and ALL released ships get tweaked in smaller increments. Feel free to check the patch notes of the past updates. We provide a lot of heads-up for such changes and do provide some recent examples - for Ägir or Odin we gave clear explanations why we went for such changes. You might not agree with those decision but it's not the case that they happen out of nowhere with no explanation. And please show me examples of ships that severely underperform in your point of view that haven't been buffed in the past year - we do consistent balancing changes pretty much every update. But one thing has to be clear - and this is something we've also stated countless times, that ship balancing isn't something where we'll be able to have all ships perform exactly the same way. That is the downside of having a large amount of ships with very different designs and unique / national traits. There will always be a difference in performance, but we try to keep this difference as small as possible. Plus we have a lot of different, more in-depth statistics available to us (plus the full data sample including those who hide their statistics) internally to see how ships perform - not only based on average results, but also depending on the audience playing it also comparing it directly to their performance in similar ships. For example we did this stream to explain the balancing process more in detail or shared some additional insights through our CCs in the CC Summit 2019. I'm happy to see if we can have a stream in the near future talking about e.g. Soviet / German ship performance and some popular examples like Henri to create more understanding. But unfortunately I haven't seen our efforts - like the ones I just mentioned - really having a major positive impact despite giving very detailed insights and explanations. Greetings, Crysantos

    I'll be happy to check if we can create more centralized publications for some of the topics, it's a nice idea - except for chatban rules. Yes some people are confused, but the vast majority of incidents we have here is people claiming "I didn't chat at all" and then we look up the chatlog and are tempted to ban for even longer... but we'll see. When it comes to botting we recently also had an article on that topic and this is a very small scale issue for EU, while it seems to be a more common problem for Asia. And we do these bans on a very regular basis, so it would be quite spammy. Greetings, Crysantos
