Hi, this option to exchange doubloons for Missouri will not be permanently available - it will be available for as long as the bundle with the ship will be available in premium shop. Greetings, Crysantos
-
That won't be possible. Greetings, Crysantos
-
Hey guys, I have an update about the availability for doubloons - right now due to technical limitations we can't make her available in the Amory. However, if you would like to directly purchase Missouri for doubloons after you've finished the campaign, we offer to contact our Customer Support. There you will be able to ask for an exchange of 19 500 doubloons for Missouri and a port slot. In case of any issues, you can message our CM team and we will help if there is a problem. Greetings, Crysantos

I get your point and it's noted, also passed along already. I was addressing the aspect of grind and I just wanted to clarify that the set of missions will be very easy, especially compared to many e.g. Marathons or Dockyard missions. Of course I understand your comments and sentiment, I also appreciate your constructive criticism and suggestions. I hope you know that even if we share a different point of view or try to explain our decisions here that we'll share your opinions and take on our decisions internally to make sure it's taken into consideration for future changes and campaigns. If anything changes about the Missouri sale, we'll let you know here. Greetings, Crysantos

Not planned right now, I saw some comments here about this and we forwarded the feedback already. I understood that part and I answered that it's by design time-gated, like many other events in our game. This is also the case for many other companies and sales, if you're not around for several weeks you might miss out on things. I also understand that it can be frustrating if you're not able to get stuff because real life gets in the way, I really do. But please stay constructive and respectful, otherwise I'll focus on the questions and comments from more constructive players. Missouri might become available in the future again in some form or way but I can't make any promises about that. I understand your perspective, I understand that many of you are angry with the admittedly many mistakes that happened in the past months. There were too many, from different angles and for different reasons but that's besides the point, and they shouldn't happen. We're aware of this and when we say that we want to tackle them, we mean it and I hope we get to show this in the future. If I can address some of your points and our actions for them: 1.) Puerto Rico -> we made many mistakes but I think if you take a look at the current Dockyard events you will admit that we made a lot of the requested changes and it's a great feature now. 2.) This issue is bad and we're working hard to make sure it won't ever happen again, we fixed it very quickly but of course it should've never happened in the first place. We do offer full refunds for anybody affected by this. 3.) 2020 Santa Containers issue was a problem of removing an aspect of the description that was there before - we did change it, offered full refunds and are making sure this won't happen again. 4.) We do intend to make sure Missouri will earn the same amount of credits for existing owners and we already adjusted its income today, if we need to tweak it more, we will. 5.) I know this will sound cheap but we're a big company with a lot of moving parts with a fast development cycle, in a very fast moving industry. Also sometimes our statements are misinterpreted or misunderstood - I'm not trying to put blame anywhere but sometimes things are just understood in a different way than we meant them. Since there is no clear example here I'll just leave it at that. 6.) The CCTP has gone through many changes over the years, from a regional program to a global one with full support from our development studio. It's a very complex topic why some of the CCs left and it'll take us time to work on such a complex matter. This is why we focused on some aspects now, based on the current hot topics of e.g. Missouri and we'll look at other aspects over the next weeks and months. I'm not going to make any promises or announcements here to set up wrong expectations but I hope we get to tackle this. I've been working with most of EU CCs for almost 5 years and know many of them in person, I do want us to make this work. I understand your other points but I don't think that anything I'll say here will change your mind or perspective. I do believe that the change from random bundles to direct purchase is a very good one and the "hurdle" of missions very low. Whether you choose to believe me or not isn't up to me :) I always aim to be upfront, provide you with correct information and set realistic expectations. I get that adding more alternatives how to get her would be popular but we also think that Missouri is a rare ship with a special place in our game, so we're careful with how we're selling her. I hope you do acknowledge that we're making some changes, that we're acting on feedback - even if it's not as far as you would like us to go many times. The problem is a commemorative flag would be mountable on all ships and thus would impact the economy. The same thing applies for the Missouri, where if we overadjust the income it will have an impact on the economy. We're already tweaking it to be "on the same level or slightly higher on average". Now "economy" is a broad term but the long term effect of inflating income means we'll have to adjust prices, which means whatever credits you generate will mean less because we need to make things more expensive. A healthy game economy is important for both parties - the company and the players. We're not trying to bribe anybody, we're making this change based on the feedback we got. This won't make the issues we have with our CC program go away, nor do we claim that it does. But we do address the topic mentioned by you and CCs. I'm sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way. I know that some players don't have a lot of time and grind is a very subjective thing. 60 battles in 3 weeks time, which you can do in Coop for example, should be very doable for the majority of our playerbase though and most players who interact with us on the forums play significantly more than this. I personally wouldn't consider this to be "grindy" in comparison to most other missions and events that we have going on. If you think this is a bad solution then I'm sorry and I hope that we'll be able to cater more to your personal expectations in the future. Have a nice evening, Crysantos

The idea is to not have existing Missouri owners lose out on this change, so I don't expect any changes for this - we will buff the income if necessary and we want to do this asap to resolve it and be done with it. If we ever have a better system to do this without a mission, we'll be happy to do so with a similar mindset. The intent wasn't go shift income or anything, the intent was to make sure if we release Missouri again, that the problematic income won't be expanded to significantly more players. The mission should actually also cover the full money making setup with camos, signals, etc. - that was our intention before and also right now. There might always be edge cases, but this is why we say on average this should be the case - even in the fully boosted setup. I understand your feedback - I really do think the campaign is really easy and not a big blocker for any halfway regular player of our game. I'm sorry if this comes across in an arrogant way, that's not our intention and we'll make sure to provide your point of view internally as well. I don't disagree here about that this wasn't very clear and there is a lot of room for misunderstanding. I could say here that we will work on this but we both know you will judge us by our actions, not words. I hope we can really make big steps in this area in the future to not be in this situation - this isn't good for anybody involved. Greetings, Crysantos

She will be available in the Premium shop, not in the Armory. UPDATE: Regrettably, due to technical limitations, we could not make her available in the Armory. Hi, but this is what we're saying - there should be no loss in credit earnings for an existing owner of the Missouri. While it might work differently in terms of how it stacks, the end result should be the same - on average you will earn the same or more than before. This is what the mission should achieve and we already buffed it now. We'll keep a close eye on this and adjust it further if necessary. We do this system for example with the Dockyard. For the Missouri, which has a very special place in our game, we decided to go a different way. We understand the feedback around the exclusive availability in random bundles, so we decided to make her available for the price of a regular TIX after you finish a set of very easy, themed missions. The missions are really easy and will take an average player around 60 battles, a good player will be able to complete them much faster even. It is a time limited campaign and this is themed around the historical events of that time. The missions are easy and won't take you long to finish, we thought it's a nice thematic fit and integration. We have many time-based events in our game, be it the theme of the update with combat mission groups, marathons, etc. That isn't true for all Tier IX ships and this reference is about the general pricing to give you context for what price to expect. Sorry if you took it this way, this isn't what we said. We received a lot of feedback about the topic of selling Missouri in the initially planned way, so we adjusted the sale and you'll be able to buy her straight up. Our requirement here is playing a few missions in our themed web campaign that will be easy to do - Missouri is a special ship that hasn't been available for several years directly. You want us to be upfront and direct, we're trying to be - 60 battles (for an average player), for myself I would expect the number to be maybe half of that. That's not a grind and it's themed around the event. More details on the missions will follow and then you'll hopefully see this for yourself. If you ask myself whether I think this is a good thing - yes. I think this gives players much more choice and the option to obtain her directly with a clear expectation. I strongly believe the missions are fair, easy to do and I like that it's themed. My personal 2 cents on this. If you feel that it's a bad solution to have this themed sale for a rare ship for the regular costs, then we'll have to accept this for now. You'll still have the option to obtain her through random bundles or skip her and focus on other ships in the game. The random bundles are purchased for doubloons, but I understand that this could be misunderstood for a direct purchase. Yes, the initial plan was to release them via random bundles - they are different than containers, you see the content of the next bundle before spending money and you have a guarantee to know how many bundles are there and at what point you would be guaranteed to get her. But I get your point. Yes, we're offering you to get her for the price of a regular Tier IX after finishing a set of easy, themed missions. I get that you would also love to have her available straight up for doubloons but we want to go a different way here. You'll still be able to get her directly with no random mechanics, you'll be able to see the missions and their difficulty for yourself and decide whether this is worth your time investment. This should be a good solution and gives you more choice. We're of course monitoring you feedback here and pass it along. No, the web campaign is a set of missions themed around the events of that time. Each mission will give you rewards and when you complete the campaign, you unlock the option to purchase the naked bundle of Missouri for the regular price of a Tier IX premium ship. I hope that clarified most of the questions you had. Greetings, Crysantos

Hi leeuwbart! Unfortunately conducting offline events has become very difficult since the COVID pandemic started and planning them highly depends on a very volatile development of restrictions and other factors :( We hope to be able to do another event in Den Helder - but it won't be in the very near future at least. Greetings, Crysantos -
Our translations are based on our EN version, so if a mistake is in there it will spread to all related translations unfortunately :(

Yes, we are - and we're acting on it. See the recent changes to attack aircraft, the constant work on submarines and related improvements. I'm as much on the forums as I can be, these days mostly as a passive reader since my job is mostly other things than posting on the forums. Also if you personally don't see any benefit in the game and its community doing well, then I don't get why you interact here at all unless it's to vent frustrations. Please stay constructive. This is always a tricky topic in terms of onboarding new players and how to train them - we added a much better onboarding experience for new players over the years, be it a protected MM, tutorial videos, etc. but of course more can be done. Theoretically, all of this should lead to a better player quality, not a worse one - in my very own, personal experience (in this and other games) it mostly depends on how much a player is willing to invest in terms of time and effort to become better at a game. For the topic of bugs, it's not this bad - we do our best to fix as fast as possible, e.g. the torpedo bug will be fixed with 0.10.7 if everything goes according to plan. Desync is harder to fix and we did already some improvements, but most bugs get fixed within 1-2 updates and sometimes even faster if we can deploy a fix for a bigger problem within the update cycle. Well, you write yourself that you don't see it like this because of the first line, but more because of personal disagreement with what we do - thus labelling it as desperate. We do marketing in very different ways and try new things all the time, we'll see what works and what doesn't. We do a lot more than just go here and say "no, you are wrong" and you know this - but I understand that if the things you would like to see changed aren't being changed because we have a different perspective, that it sometimes can get across like this. You've made yourself very clear and I wish you all the best in the games you like to play - I do hope Warships will be part of that list of games in the future, but I also know we won't be able to make everybody happy. Glad to hear that we were able to help! Enjoy!

We addressed this aspect in the past and we're aware of the concerns around it. But this is getting completely off-topic and you know that as well, we're here in a thread about a promotion with Jacobs ;) Greetings, Crysantos

We are working on both - constant bug fixes and advertising our game to those who don't know about it yet. Of course we keep a close eye on how new players interact with low Tier content ;) The overwhelming majority of players who buy high Tier content do play on high Tiers. More players in the game is good for you - it improves MM and it ensures the game will be around for a long time. Have a nice week

Like every (gaming) company, we're doing a lot of different Marketing activities and collaborations with many brands, all over the world. Why does it always have to be "omg the game is dying" posts about such things? We want this game to exist for a long time and to get new players to try it out. The more players, the better us and for you. Greetings, Crysantos

Hi! Maybe there is a misunderstanding but did the 3 days of Premium time not work for you? The two missions have different difficulty - but if you play a bit during the weekend reaching 5k baseXP should be very easy, with no special restrictions applied, and then you got some of the very best camos with crazy bonuses in the game, just for playing the game a bit. Have a nice weekend! -
Good morning! I haven't had that issue myself, but please send us a WGCheck + replay / video if you encounter it again to our customer support, then we can look into it with some data to check :) Have a nice weekend!
