So i tried the pensacola in a co op, got 2 citadels, but i couldn't citadel the enemy pensacola, very well, getting one off about 4 broadside salvos. I got 3 in a Bismarck while i waited for this thread, so i'm going to take the Kuma (co op) out and see what i get :)

It has to be T4 for the mission though... Also, you can do these in Co op?

The daily missions were more profitable.... I don't play a lot, so i don't see the point in collecting them.

Can anyone tell me how the sims is affected? I can't play as i'm at uni with a mac.

I bought the Sims as a destroyer killer, with the ability to do a lot of damage to battleships, to be fair it was a little overpowered. Then they nerfed it to the extent it struggles to hit anything over 8km, so now all it can really do is contest points with its speed as its torpedoes are useless combined with its detectability. This also plays to its strengths as the only thing it can really do well is to fight destroyers. Now WG are modifying the economy so I get fewer credits for this playstyle, is there a way I can change my playstyle to get more credits, which is what I bought the ship for? nb I cannot play atm as I am at university, but I like to keep an eye on WoWs for when I get back home.

Ah ok, so the sims is all about setting fire to things? Abusing smoke mechanics won't help me earn more credits as if i'm 'abusing' smoke to shoot at stuff, then I'm halving my credit/xp bonus. Also hasn't radar nerfed this tactic? I have hit 100 hits in a game before, so i do know how to use it, admittedly I'm one of those people who's too scared to spend any points on his captains or get modules in case I make a mistake, but I only got 5 or 6 fires, and my total damage for that game was 40k of which 20k was from fires. The sims is fun to play, if a bit frustrating as you feel as if you're throwing ping pong balls at people, but it doesn't seem to generate many credits...

Boy, I thought I was rolling in it with 9 million. But on a serious note, play tier 5/6 to earn silver.

All true, I only really started to get the hang of the 'don't die in the first five minutes' thing when i started playing WoT, so i'd imagine my averages should increase

I don't mind what stats i get, you should see my WoT stats But i was curious to see how well i was doing vs the average.

How do i look up my stats? ie in relation to others, am I green, red, purple etc?

btw does anyone know where i can find the arp mission lists? I am debating grinding them.

Doesn't changing the harbor disable them?

Hi guys, I stopped playing soon after the game came out of beta, and when I came back, the Sims so bad, the shells take so long to land and deal so little damage that I feel like I'm throwing feathers at the enemy, as they appear to be about has fast, deal about as much damage and have the same accuracy, has the sims been changed to rely more on torpedoes?

It's how WoWs keeps tier 10 full of better players... better players can afford to be at T10 more....

The other thing is how would you know where to aim/where the kancolle ship was going? And make ship collisions fit the age restrictions of this game.

Ah, thank you, I didn't realise Captain skills remained active on prem ships during retraining, I hadn't really paid much attention to them, as they felt a bit 'gimmicky' and bit of a trap to make you buy dubloons. How do I play replays btw?

Ah, thank you Unfortunately, I have to sleep now, but I will check this thread tomorrow if anyone else has any advice, i treat the sims as more of a credit earner than anything else, so i tend to keep the same captain on it.

@trigger_happy_dad Oh, makes sense, the dispersion isn't good enough, is about 5km the magic number? edit: ah smoke, i keep forgetting it's a DD not a small CL.

Ah, so I need to stay at max range, makes sense. Also, it appears I've been doing it wrong according to those videos, i was firing HE against everything, it looks like AP isn't a bad idea against light cruisers. Btw how do i stop myself being spotted when I am shooting, I keep ending up in duels with BBs which I can't win.

Ah cool, that makes sense, btw what is AGT? Also, won't people spot me the second I open fire, and kill me? Also, should i be using the long range torps? The sims was just OP during the beta, I could out duel half hp cruisers with ease. I haven't been setting any skill points on any captains, or putting any modules on any ships, as they cost too much, it sounds like I need to change that.

Isn't it a huge advantage having triple the field of view?

Also, you probably should write cruisers as cruisers rather than 'meds' if you want noobs to understand you....
