I tried the new orleans which is the ship I'm apparently best at, I also tried to switch shell types more. I sort of went a bit ham at the end when I didn't realise I was flanked on the other side though.....

I will look at this, but I got the Cleveland fairly recently, so I can't spec the captain sadly, and the ship is completely stock.... I was under the impression that the Cleveland was an arsonist rather than a damage dealer, I thought its guns were too small to fire AP. I have legitimately never felt the need to have my consumables off cool down sooner, I'm not sure if this means my playstyle is weird. And you were right, it took me a few seconds to realise the minotaur was dead. Though later on in the game, I could see the enemy BB's turrets, so I wasn't scared of their firing. Am I correct in saying that you think I'm too cautious in playing? The other problem is I don't have enough credits to sustainably fit all my ships with modules, so I think I do need a premium ship.

ok, I've been doing a bit of research, and apparently the Atago has a good write up. I'm just still cautious about saving £2 to get a tier lower, and losing 50k profit/game when I don't have a plan to buy another ship ever. Also, I can't wait for a GC as my coupon expires in 3 days.

I have a voucher which means I can get triple doubloons, so I can get get an Alabama for about £13, so I don't want to buy an Ashitaka's camo pattern, which I'd have to spend more money on. I've bought premium before, and it took the fun out of playing....

Ah ok, that appears to be roughly half the earning potential of a Alabama, which earns about 350k for a 2k damage game w/o premium. @triumphgt6I play sporadically, and I have a tendency of trying to justify buying premium time by playing excessively in a way I really, really shouldn't, so I steer clear of it for my own health, no one else I know would have ground out that Bismarck mission without a premium account....

I have a texas, so I'm not sure if I need another T5 BB?

I've already got a Texas from Twitch Prime, and I've heard the Warspite's guns turn very slowly, it doesn't sound as fun.... Is there much difference between t5 and t6? Also how do I enable replays?

It's just I wanted a credit maker to pay for modules and farming the daily containers. I thought T8s produced a lot more credits for not much more cost especially given the coupon WG gave me. Ah sorry, it must have changed from the beta. I've usually been shooting at around 16km but ok, as I have the permanent camo from the event, I've been using it to farm xp up to T10, as It was where I thought the most fun was, maybe I should slow down a bit. I've got the Texas, Tachibana and the Sims already, so I don't really need more low tier premiums, I thought a T8 would make credit farming easier. How much does the Schanhorst make, and also how do I enable replays?

I would think about this, but due to the coupon WG gave me, there isn't much cost difference between all of them, so I was thinking of going all in once, so I didn't have to buy another one later. Is it similar to WoT where there is a massive jump in earnings at T8? Sorry, but I can't work out how to break up your quote. Just to clarify, I do pick up the upgraded hulls etc, just not the 'advanced steering gears 1' etc. It's partly I can't afford to pay for all the demounts, my line is if WG didn't want people to do this, they shouldn't have paywalled them. I am trying to improve, by watching jingles and seeing how he advises, so I have a good handle on HE vs AP and not showing your broadside. I do seem to be having quite a bit of success with my Cleveland and my Bismarck does seem to be doing ok but I keep being murdered by RNG as my shells keep straddling targets. As I said above in WoT t8s have such higher earning potential, I thought it would be worth a couple of extra pounds?

I just want something to make credits with tbh... I am doing ok at T8 with my Bismarck and my Cleveland. The only reason I use the Bismarck as a sniper was because I did that mission marathon to unlock the camouflage and the Bismarck, and I can't work out how to get close enough to benefit from its secondaries. I sort of like playing without deciding on an expensive build on a ship as I don't want to run out of silver. If I get a t8 premium, I won't have to worry as much.

Is it just suicide rush everything with a destroyer such as a sims?

Btw any advice on the torpedo challenge, is that good to do in co op as well ?
