In general, the ships people recommend (best to worst) are: Warspite Scharnhorst Ark Royal Atago Kaga z 35 or Cossack Tirpitz But premium time should be your first priority.

Hi all, I have 200k coal, and a coupon expiring tonight. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a tier 9 or ten coal ship. I have: Alaska, Musashi, Jean Bart, Thunderer and Smolensk. I have the following silver TXs: Grosser Kurfurst, Minotaur, Midway, DM and Worcester. I enjoy British CLs, and some Battleship play, but I am open to other ideas as long as they're good. I also used to play a lot of CVs, but I struggle with them now they've been nerfed. I love my Jean Bart and Mushy, but not Alaska as much.. Best,

So is Marceau a spend 20 mins dodging return fire at max range type of boat? I have been ok in my Sims, but struggle to last 8 minutes. I do like the French DDs, but I am struggling with the 'and now you're dead' moments... Is pommern worth it against and Kurrywurst or FDG ? Does Napoli need a 15pt captain? I don't play Italian ships? Is Napoli similar to the Minotaur, she seems to be? I have a Kurrywurst, and an Alaska.. That being said, I do have a DD hole in my higher tier ships, I guess it boils down to a DD, Marceau, neut or Kearsage....

Does it play similarly to the sims?

Ah ok - is the Marceau a DD killer? Yes, I’m not the best player… should I avoid kearsage?

What’s the Marceau like? Is it similar to the JB? I’ve heard mixed things about Kearsage, what’s it like? I can’t see an LWM review..

Well said, also in the lower tiers don’t forget that there are a lot of ships that you are unlikely to play or enjoy, this doesn’t have to be bad ships, just ships that you wouldn’t like, an example would be if you are a DD main, would you enjoy a warspite, which is objectively a good ship? I would work out how many ships on the drop list you would actually like before buying. Do NOT just rely on £ per ship calculations.
