Settings Menu Improvements In Update 12.6, we've completely reworked the Settings menu interface. ITS A FLOP. The new settings for controls totally ruined my setup and i have to reconfigure a lot of keyes, and still cant find keys for whole setup I use mouse with left hand when gaming, and movement, weapon and minimap with num figers with right hand. This is how i had configured the keys, thats make it easy for me to choose with right hand on num keyes and now i have to find another way for most of the functions, but unfortunately are not all earlier functions covered: 4: HE / SAP 5: AP 6: ASW / DC planes 1: Torpedo (and change between narrow / wide spread) 2: Guns 3: Torp reload - / +: Minimap zoom 0: AA sector choice Some of the names in the key settings are confusing when you try to reconfigure your key setup.

Planes laying smoke and mines - AGAIN you didnt listen to the big majority of players - only listened to those who pay a lot lot lot lot lot .....

It could be a "Paravane" used by minesweepers or minehunters. Dragged behind the ship or in a outrigger from the side, can use up to 2 at a time, one to each side. It can be adjusted to operate in different depts for cutting wires on mines with an anchor. But it can also be a "Fanfare". A device dragged in a long wire behind the ship, with a build ind mecanical device makeing a loud noice to fool sound homing torpedoes. Im not sure of the name "Fanfare". In the danish navy it was called that. (A fanfare is a short loud musical greeting, eg when an artist enter a scene). FUNFACT: When the minewire was cut and the mine surfaced it was often shot with a small caliber gun to make it explode or sink it. A more silent way was to shoote it with a rifel with muffler. That was what the brittish navy did on Faroe Islands under WW2, and since i have been sailing fisheries inspection in faroese waters back in the middle and late 70ties, i have been supporting minors when some of those sunken mines was found by fishermen, often in the inlets, where is send up a 10-15 meter high water geyser when the minors used a explosive device to make the mine blow off, and then it was out in the dingy and colletc all the fish INJOY THE SUMMER

HELLO. I can give you a sneak peak on a danish naval museum in Copenhagen: https://www.skibenepaaholmen.com/ The ships are placed on the former Naval Base Copenhagen. There are 3 ships, a fregate Peder Skram where i am guide and radiooperator, look at my profile picture. I am educated wireless operator / telegraphist in the Danish Navy back in the midt 70ties and served 21 year in the navy, 42 years in the armed forces and now retired and senior citizen. The fregate have a working radiostation, used as radioamateur station with equipemnt similary to what was in the ship when it was decommissioned in 1988. The callsign is OZ1RDN (Royal Danish Navy) and part of Royal Naval Amateur Radio Society. Next is the submarine Sælen (Seal in english). Its the last submarine served in the danish navy and the only danish submarine which have been in war. And now you may laugh: Denmark was asked to make a submarine available in the Golf war in Iraq. Those who asked, knew the danish submarines was experts in monitoring communications (COMINT) of all kinds, the Baltid Sea was the backyard of Sovjet Union (WAPA), so we had to be on our toes. Last is Sehested, a torpedo missile boat of the Willemoes class, a project developed by the danish Naval Materiel Command, heavy armament with a 3inch autoloaded gun, Harpoon missiles and torpedoes and latest a Stinger platform, speed around 35 kts. The class was superseeding the Ferraries of the Danish navy; The Søløven class (Sea lion in english) fast patrole boats, build with the Brittish Mosquito class FPB as model: 1 or 2 40mm guns, 2 or 4 torpedoes depending on configuration and 52+ kts - i served nearly 4 month on one of those speed monsters, that was F U N (and damn it was hard for the back, sailed like a 160 tons speedboat). Visit my ship if you go to Copenhagen, its worth it. Its not ww2 ships. Denmark is placed in center of naval museums; Sweeden have the in game DD Smaaland on display, like Poland have the ingame DD Blyskawica on display, Germany severe submarines, and not to forget the HMS Belfast in London. Furthermore Finland have a submarine and Norway a fregate and a minehunter on display. Have a nice day all of you.

On test server other players may not pick on or heras ru or belaru players, which is ok: play clean, therefor its disabled. On the other hand, on the EU server vi now have a lot of players using cyrillic letter languages, and they dont stand back for herassing, pick on and flame other players, but thats ok with wg....

The userinterface, both in port and in battle, are so overloaded because of all those new thing wg introduce, without straigting the very very very very very long list of errors, bugs and glitches out first

Same here - especialy in co-op when in dd with lot of live players i take a kill or 2 and then go capping eventually spotting, so rest of team can get kill and damage, or depending on dd go as aa support not shooting on targets only if danger. No reason as some dd players like to do - clear the table. I gladly give a kill away if a player need it for mission

We dont need more hybrid ships in the game. Classifi all ships - dd, ca, bb - with attackplane capacity as cva (auxiliary carriers) and together with normal carriers limit their number to two on each team. Meaning 2 ca or 2 cva or 1 ca + 1 cva on each team. Today you can incounter that one team have 2 to 4 plane carrying ships, and the other team have no plane carrying capacity. The mm / balance is totally rotten as it is, even if the plane carrying ships only use planes for recon they have a great advantage comparet to the other team.

Just like live server - wonder when wg get some devs who can make the game work, instead of all that new cr.. that make the bug and error list long as a toiletroll

Its a well known bug, for the players at least, but not for wg.......

And again WG failing B I G in summertimes in EU: (this only count for the countries in Europe who change to summertime) UNTIL 26. OF MARCH 0200, CET IS UTC + 1 HOUR FROM 26. OF MARCH 0200 CET IS UTC + 2 HOURS Why do you stumble over it year after year after year after year......... (and i know the line shold have been: From 26. of march 0300 cet is utc + 2 hours - and why that? 0200 we advance the clock from 0200 to 0300, but im sure most of you will get a headeach to figer that out. But where did the missing hour go. Well, when we turn the clock back an hour 29. of october, time goes from 0300 to 0200 - TA-DA and we all can sleep an hour more without doing anything .....) IM JOKING FRIENDS , LIKE EVERY YEAR And im amused every year, like a little group of players, who like me have been working with radiocommunication, civilian or military, where all times are in UTC no matter where on the globe you are, land or ship.
