Exactly, I know this game is "arcadey" but there has to be a limit with unrealistic things

I watch them, they add a really nice level of detail. Plus which of the animations takes 4 minutes! Or anywhere close to that?

No I shared it because I thought people might like to see another review. What exactly is your problem? Do you really have to find points of contention with every little thing? Very sad....

I have to admit that was my experience over the x2 event as well. I did not even bother on Sunday. I should always stick to my "never play on a weekend" rule Edit: Not saying other people didn't have a good event, just that I didn't.

I probably should have worded it better. I will be taking part just because I will be playing the game during this period anyway, I just don't think for a moment that I will get much out of it (certainly not any premium ships). I'm just too crap

This is exactly the kind of idea I would love to do. It would be possible if the Diana was available to everyone, and if there were official training rooms in the game. I will add it to the list while I give it some more thought

Ohh, it's going to be that kind of event. Oh well, I'll have to pass on that one then. These events are not really designed for us casual gamers who can only put a couple of hours max into this game each day.

If this thread is about CAs not escorting, then that is getting to the core problem of any game like this. Historically all these different ships types were designed to support each other and were manned by crews that had been trained to do so. The inherent problem with any online game, as we all know, is the lack of teamwork (not complete lack, just mostly). Unless you are in a division, or have a competent team who are willing to communicate with you, it is unlikely that you will be able to work together to form an effective fighting force (rather than just overwhelming the enemy). Obviously for the most part it works ok, but there are those few times when you are in your DD/CA/BB/CV and you wish you had someone in a different class of ship doing what they were historically designed to do in conjunction with your class. But this is an online so we have to take it for what it is, adapt to the situation and ultimately try to do our best.

I also asked about me being able to organise some kind of in-game event for the society possibly with prizes and he said that would be ok. I just need to come up with an idea for one. At some point in the future I will be polling members of the society about what sort of event they would most like to see, so keep an eye out. It wont happen too soon though as I have never done anything like this before.
