    MM manipulation?

    My Win rate day is about 10% and I am playing well. MM is putting me into the worst teams or is f*****g me with the ship composition outright in my rear! Of course MM is rigged!

    The good: The visual changes to the water and the ship's interaction with it, are nice. I really like the map changes, especially Northern Lights. Removing D from Northern Lights was really useful and the changes to the base capture points open the map up. The bad: The game seems to leak memory. It gets slower, clunkier over time. I feel, I have to restart the client after 10 matches. The radar / hydro indicator should always have preference over being hard spotted. Or at least the icons should change, so I know that I am hard spotted AND radared/hydroed. The current mechanic is costing me games.

    Of course it can cause a match to be one-sided. And that's what I am experiencing more often. This is probably caused by the trend of passive play. Being down one DD puts extra pressure on the remaining DDs. What I see is that the DDs then either are reckless or too passive, causing the entire team to just stop or playing passive/defensive. In Domination, this leads to these rounds, where you end up without any caps. Under this pressure, the friendly DDs are often killed first, putting the team in a worse position before. Making ship classes balanced in numbers at least equalizes pressure. Your example of a won game does not prove that there should not be any changes. It just proves that the players are bad, even when they have the advantage.

  5. Dear Wargaming, please explain to me, why you consider this matchmaking as fair: The match type is Domination. My team is down 1 DD and 1 BB. And the enemy has a radar cruiser. DD is the most important class in Domination. So why the hell is there still a DD imbalance in this game mode?! Why is there a imbalance in ship classes anyway?! Also, the 3-tier spread (+2/-2) does not help. I would not mind longer queue times for a 2-tier spread (+1/-1). But please, please remove this bull**** class imbalance!

    Update 0.6.11 - Other Changes

    My Karma was at 70. Now I am at 56. Just lost 2 points in a match where I was the last ship, surrounded by enemies and my dead team mates wanted me to cap. It would not have mattered. But these [edited] reported me anyway. I was second best in that match. This makes me sick of this community.

    The changes to the Karma system were really bad. Unfortunately, we have a real toxic community and the karma system is abused heavily by raging players! Since the last patch, I get negative karma even when I did not write anything to chat. People tend to report more than to compliment. So Karma will probably be zero for all players, soon.

    The changes to the Karma system were really bad. Unfortunately, we have a real toxic community and the karma system is abused heavily by raging players! Since the last patch, I get negative karma even when I did not write anything to chat. People tend to report more than to compliment. So Karma will probably be zero for all players, soon.

    Your analogy is flawed. Because my grandparents are passed 80. And I consider them still at a 100%. ;) A better analogy would be: You accidently remove the oxygen probe of a cancer patient, who otherwise would have died 5 minutes later.

    Just became pink in a brawl during a Cyclone. I was in my Montana and shot at a Tripitz. Bad Dispersion hit a friendly Iowa. That Iowa was already low and an overpen (!!!) hit for 8k (!!!) compensation. I did not even kill the friendly Iowa but became pink immediately. The Iowa died like three seconds later. So yes, the pink mechanic is stupid and should be reconsidered! I will play my coop battles tomorrow, T1 ship, sailing as far from friendly ships as possible. Fun and engaging!
  11. Lately, the game is often not reacting to steering inputs. Is anyone having the same problem? I can hold A or D, but nothing is happening. Several times, I beached myself or was hit by torps because it takes a second or two to realize that the ship is not turning. The ships were totally fine, no rudder defect or engine outage. I switched keyboard to test, whether this is an hardware issue, but without change. This is really annoying. Anyone experiencing the same?

    Correct, and that's why detonations can be removed from the game without affecting balance. In fact, it adds imbalance and frustration. And whoever comes with "yeah, this is how its happened in reality" can write "WoWs is a casual game, not a simulation." 100 times on a whiteboard nearby!

    Just got detonated in a Amagi. I took a single bomber torp in the tip of the bow! How is that fair and even possible?! This mechanic is far too random and should be gone or only affect VITAL ship parts.

    Fair match making? Looks about right. How is this fair? And this is like 70-80% of my matches. The WG MM is biased. Its optimized to let you lose if you play often, so you have to buy more dublones. Just wait a few days and viola, you will be teamed up with better teams.

    Yeah, detonations are from the same stupid game mechanic root. It is too much punishment for a player and the team. Also it is outright stupid that it can happen by a hit from any angle (pure RNG). That mechanic should be gone, too. At least make it really and don't punish the player for the f*** RNG: don't charge repair money. At least, it is happening so rarely.
