    Why the rush? To get there is probably as much fun and these campaigns don't have any time limit.

    One of BBs job is to tank damage for the team in an intelligent way because a BB usually has better armour and bigger HP pool. By staying back all the time you'd be neglecting this potential to help your team win. Sometimes even suboptimal gameplay will win games.

    I know it would be similiar to clan battles but without clans, 12v12 and all year long. I mentioned it should be based on PR, just not the PR from a stats web site. WG must come up with a good algorithm.

    I beg to differ. Then why is Lebron playing in the NBA? Two reasons: the money (does not apply to us) and eagerness to compete on a skill level comparable to his own. I ask for nothing else.

    Yes, here I am - hardly playing random battles anymore as I have grown tired of the gameplay experience they provide. Personally I would like to see each player getting a personal rating (but not that inadequate PR from wows-numbers, WG would have to come up with some algorithm) and have the MM fix matches of players based on that. The emphasis should not be on an even distribution of potatoes per team but rather good players not encountering poor players at all and vice versa. I don't wanna boost win rates, I would like to see more interesting battles.

    Maybe fair but boring. Boring battles I had way too many due to complete random matchmaking. This is a game and it is supposed to be fun but often it is not.

    It should be possible to cross the border and sail back to the port. In the result screen it should state "disqualified". Additionally here in the forum there should be a thread that automatically lists players having been disqualified thus naming and shaming them. And they shouldn't get any cake for their next birthday.

    For AP you will penetrate if Caliber > armour * 14.3 when targets bow points in a 0 to 30 degree angle towards you. If that angle is 30+ to 45 degree there is rng involved if you will penetrate or not. For any other angle I think there is a website that displays diagrams penetration taking into account distance and armour on a ship by ship basis. Good luck learning all those values.

    Just imagine random matchmaking in team sports, e.g. football. It would mean that you could be teamed up with a champions league player, 2nd division, 9th division and so on. Enemy team the same. Nobody on the pitch would enjoy that after a few games. So I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement.
  17. We are getting too much free stuff already. That leads to shorter grinding times, leads to more noobs and newbies in the high tiers, leads to a worse quality of gameplay, leads to a worse user experience. It seems to be a childish behaviour to look at what others are getting and then demand the same.

    Compare Killer Whale with a Standard random battle. In Standard battle many players don't understand that they have to defend their base. It is a simple "capture the flag" principle but already too complicated for all the Einsteins. Killer Whale is much more complicated in comparison. "I have to get killed in order to win? What a befiddling concept"

    Honestly I did not want to play with 40%'ers at all. While technically playing the same game, we play a different game after all. And I did not enjoy being dragged to their game.

    5:00 UTC is not the same as UTC +5. I assume WG uses the time with the smallest amount of connected people. That is usually in the morning. Additionally as a user I don't care about the server's time. As long as the program translates all the times in my current time zone I could not care less.
