I recall how eager I was to complete all missions for afaik our first reward ship Kamikaze R. Also Graf Spee made me play mission oriented. Nowadays I usually deal with missions, directives, and reward ships in two ways: Either I casually play and only focus on finishing them when I get close to the end or I use them as a challenge to see if and how fast I can finish them. E.g. the "Lucky Point" combat mission reqiured 500 hits by main or secondary batteries. So I took Smolensk to co-op in order to do this in one go (co-op because I don't want to be responsible for the tears of BBabys not being able to deal with the constant shelling). Got 501 hits which gave me some satisfaction. The rental Kaga was a welcomed gift so I can better study her strengths and weaknesses. If I miss out on something it doesn't upset me.

I always find this usage of the word hilariously funny. For me meta still derives from Greek and should be interpreted as a model description. E.g. BBs can devstrike cruisers, DDs can devstrike battleships and cruisers can delete destroyers quickly. The meta would then be rock-paper-scissors. Not saying that you are wrong but for me meta will not be an abbreviation.

From the beginning you claim that and you claim to be objective but your arguing is very subjective. You have an opinion and a feeling and that's ok. It would be awefully good, however, to realize that you have an opinion and a feeling about the current state of BBs and that are not the holder of the ultimate truth. Various people have made some legitimate counter arguments to your claims and we could have a nice discusduion about your chosen topic. But you don't discuss, you just want others to acknowledge that you are right. On the matter itself. If we just take your points of critique and apply "fixes" to BBs, the battleships have reduced vulnerability and increased fire power, the class would become somewhat the master race of WoWs, rendering cruisers and destroyers obsolete. That's my opinion only, of course. I base it on my own experience I made in many battles: While good BB players can have a huge impact on the battle, the lesser skilled players don't. This is the same as with cruisers and destroyers and even carriers. Therefore and because of BBs still making the highest damage output I consider this class fairly balanced in the greater scheme.

There was no option to re-open the ticket otherwise I would have done that. That's why I used the feedback thread which was created by WG. After receiving no reaction I wrote one more time in the feedback thread (in a mildly annoyed tone I have to admit). I then waited more than 2 weeks for any reaction. Then I started this thread. I think I gave them enough time. There seems to be something wrong with Customer Support I dare say.

Just imagine they would fix the ghost shell bug? Cause why should shells disappear just because they hit an island? Better to let those marbles continue flying and let the player be baffled as his shells fly through the target for no hits and no damage. Why would we need proper visual feedback about our ship, targets, and shots?

I had best results with Mahan. Good guns, 3 torp launchers and long lasting smoke for the end game (to hide you and your transport ship).

I recently played her with a 3 point and later a 6 point captain and she still rocks. Thus having said she grows stronger with a better captain, giving her an edge.

Since that happens basically in every other random battle, I am battle-hardened.

I know how you feel. I learned about the challenge by playing a battle with Mikoyan and on the post-battle screen appeared this challenge. They probably mentioned it in the middle of some article somewhere. As little as WG is interested in reading my posts to them I lost interest in their posts to me.

You describe the status quo where the OP has made suggestions how to alter the current situation. He at least tried while from your side comes only a "I can't think of anything so it must be impossible" destructive reply. Instead of encouraging a coversation you try to slam the door shut.

Have you tried that on tier 6? I know it works on 8 and 10, haven't yet tried that below.

Do you still got the replays of those? I haven't heard that T4 gets matched with T6 under any circumstances other than a fail division. Would like to see that with my own eyes.

Who are you actually talking/writing to? Who do you think is reading this? if you need your ban to be discussed you have to go through Customer Support and create a ticket. Be ready to prove to them that you were banned for unjustified reasons (replay file).

It is a bl00dy tier 10 battle at 20:30 CEST. Please WG, tell me where I can play Random battles to have some fun? Kindly refrain from CV bashing as I had plenty of this before in "normal" ships and CV was actually my last resort.
