with attachments range on Ibuki is great, and to play it feels really good. I have no issues with Ibuki at all. Mogami is also really good, but does need a slight range buff, 15km at tier 8 is almost suicide most of the time.

I'm looking at hull C on the Iowa (gives nothing it seems and costs 5 000 000 credits), or hull C on the Kagero (gain 5 AA and lose a turret for 2 400 000 credits). Does anyone get these? Were they different before and have been rebalanced, but people forgot to amend the costs or something.... There are quite a few of these pointless upgrades in the game. WG any chance you can have a review of some of these pointless expensive upgrades?

I have no desire to get into an online flame war with a stranger I have never met and never will, and the fact that you seem so keen again makes me wonder what type of person you are. So you see I have no need to say anything, you are doing it yourself.

Different approach to life... We could talk psychology here but meh, whatever.

Very expensive seemingly pointless upgrades

Ah I see that now. It doesn't say it give rudder shift time in the pop up description, but it does in the sidebar when you open them. That tooltip could be better.... OK maybe I do get something for my 5 million, still maybe a bit expensive though. -
found it thanks. next dumb question, do you get some kind of notification when people compliment or report you? I cant find anything in the notification panel.

how do you see your Karma?

I understand you want US CVs to be about air superiority, but the difference between fighter squadrons is just too great. In the same way you rebalanced the difference between US and IJN DDs (levelling a little the guns and torps of both nations while retaining their national leanings) can we have the same done with CVs. It is just nuts that US fighters dominate so completely. As mentioned earlier in the thread, it also feels like the US has better TPs and DBs too. I don't get it.

Agreed it should be competitive, but there is also nothing wrong with specialism. It was sold for money but was always labelled as a specialist AA escort, so wasn't mis-sold... until now. It is no longer that good at AA. Buying ships is not an I win button, they should and often are not as good as the standard ships of the class/tier. Comparing to the Cleveland also seems silly, probably one of the most over-performing ships in the game.
-
accuracy and shell velocity seem ok to me. If the AA was buffed and it could engage from further I think yes that would be enough to make it competitive. It shouldn't equal the other t4 ships if it is an AA escort primarily.
-
Why base in history at all then? Why not just play those stupid ARP cartoon ships? Oh yes, cos you're utterly wrong and overly opinionated.

I'm trying hard not to jump on the Russian bias claims, but the Murmansk is possibly the most OP ship in the game for me. Fingers crossed they have some sense. I also hope they don't invent too many ships and try and keep the ones they use to the WW2 timeline. Don't wanna see a bunch of soviet post war ships.

Balance should be done lightly... It does need a buff, and why not keep it as a AA specialist. To do this I would keep the slow turret traverse and thin armour, its no scrapper. I would buff her AA back up. Keep 1 AA defensive fire, that's enough. The most important aspect for me is to give her more range, 12.8km for a slow turret ship with poor armour is a joke. Move it back up towards 14km. Just slightly more than the other tier IV cruisers.

I have so many of them they are essentially worthless. I didn't buy any, I just got them from battles. I never have to save for anything, the only "currency" that matters is experience really. Does this need rebalancing?
-
Does anybody think that the costs of the premium ships are, well, outrageous. I know the game is free and we are encouraged to do the micro-transactions, which I do... but £37 for just one ship, plus the other parts of the package, is BS. Strange thing is loads of people are buying them. I'd personally rather buy Fallout 4 for the same cost.

I understand that the scale of naval warfare means that some changes have to be made, so we can see ships 15km away. My problem with the scale is that I never feel the size of the ships accurately. The other day I felt went passed an Omaha in my New York, and the Omaha was 2km away, and it was actually bigger on my screen than my New York. This is a bit of an immersion breaker. I want to feel the differences in size much better. Perhaps my ship can occupy more of the foreground in my screen if I have a very big ship. At the moment it never really changes be it BB or DD. Minor point I know...
-
I heard there were limits to BBs and CVs, 2 and 1 respectively. I too have seen 3BBs vs 2. They seem to have an MM bug. And no, it isn't the MM adapting, it isn't supposed to do this despite 500 BBs in the queue
-
Hmm, better than average I think, although I do come up against quite a few players who totally dominate me... http://worldofwarships.eu/en/community/accounts/527424028-Shagulon/#tab=pvp/account-tab-overview-pvp

you clearly don't understand the point of the game and if you look up the definition of scrub in the sense of gaming, you are therefore the very definition of it...
-
All you need to know is, 234 games in CAs, none in any other class. Sorry OP but to be taken seriously in any balance discussion you need to have some experience with ALL the game mechanics.
-
I think they could be better, agreed. Something akin to AA weapons.
-
DD is the counter to BB. Would you prefer a fair fight in a rock paper scissors game?

How exactly does this work? I know I get scores at the end of a match. One is credits used to purchase ships and ship upgrades. One is experience. Is this for your captain of for your ship? Or Both? I have two totals for experience in the after match summary, one much higher than the other. What are they both? Once I get the next ship and fully upgrade the old ship, that ship starts to earn free experience. This is usable to progress in any tech tree branch, right? If I play a match with a ship that isn't my highest tier in a tree, how does that experience count towards the tree I'm in? I ask because the numbers don't seem to add up after a match, and the progress I make towards that tier VIII ship I want.... This should really be in some kind of manual right? *goes off to try and find a manual hidden in my directory. Thanks for help in advance

I just got a new message saying waiting in queue to join server, over 900 to begin with. 45000 people online on EU apparently. That's pretty impressive? Or par for the course with a WG title?
