    DD Schwemme V2

    genau gringryu hatte mal ne montana vor mir, ich in yamato. 6km distanz.....VOLLE breitseite war offen! ich winkel zwischen seinen schüssen kurz an, feuere 9 shells ab wovon 2 (!!) trafen. der rest ging vorher oder DAHINTER ins wasser......beide treffer overpens (bei einem 40m breiten BB mit dem bauch voller maschinen, klar) mit minimum damage (2x 1480). ich sitze mit offenen augen da.....drehe instinktiv wieder zurück und bekomme 3 (!!!!) front citadellen von der montana zurück.... care the noobs......danke WG! bestraft gutes positioning und gutes timing mit schlechtem RNG und front zitadellen.....so macht das spiel doch gleich mehr spass! nene.....da kann ich ich auch lieber texas hold em poker spielen. wobei das gefühlt weniger RNG-based ist....

    DD spielen macht halt wenigstens noch spass (solange kein CV dabei ist....der eigene ist nämlich immer der schlechtere ;-) ) bbs: RNG bis zum abwinken und man brennt ständig. aiming wird nicht belohnt wegen der RNG mechanik. gute treffer sind zu 80% glück (server) CAs reduzieren sich zu 90% auf HE-spamming von BBs aus max range. interessante gefechte in kurzen distanzen sind die ausnahme geworden und situationen für AP somit ebenso folge:----> wieder mehr DDs, nachdem alle spieler nach einiger zeit merken, dass der letzte patch wieder nichts verändert hat..... bei DDs haste wenigstens erzwungenermassen noch nahkämpfe und es ist die klasse mit dem wenigsten RNG [edited] und ja......IJN DDs werden weniger....kein wunder nach dem torp nerf für shima und co. 2.5 km detection bei 62 kts? da kann sogar meine oma ausweichen. die 12km sind besser, aber warum shima fahren, wenn die gearing VIEL bessere guns und nun auch noch bessere torps hat (16,5km bei 67 kts).

    weil mein toleranz-fass seit ungefähr einem monat voll ist und es gefühlt mit jedem patch schlimmer, anstatt besser wird.......
  5. gearing.....non premium account 280k damage, but lost game because whole team were totally useless snipers with no balls and no brain just positive income.....but only 80k plus iirc as long as you need a 300k+ match to make money as T10, as long we will face this actual camping and sniping meta game well done WG, well done

    use the ivona link. it is really good. but be aware of the double ss in grosse is written with this way: "Große" it makes a big difference in the ivona-result

    Detonations

    detonations are one of the main RNG pains in the game and should be cancelled! my last detonation: gearing.....i fought 2 BBs (yamatos) a new orleans a shima and another gearing at once. i put 4 torps in the yamatos, killed the shima and was in middle of the fight against the gearing. until then, i was able to DODGE ALL shots! i was UNDAMAGED! now i decided that it is better to smoke and dive away from this. i was JUST undetected, as the new orleans landed a lucky shot....ONE shell of 9 hit me and i detonated IMMEDIATELY! yeah....that helps to keep good players motivated to stay playing this crap! i did 70k damage in 5 minutes. capped a point. weakened the enemy yamatos. half killed the gearing and killed the shima. only to get a detonation as "reward" for aggressive and effective play? [edited]WG......take ur whole RNG, cut it, ad smoke it......best u can do with this skill-preventing mechanics

    wg hats eh geschafft AP in 95% der kampfsituationen unbrauchbar zu machen (overpens, bounces und RNG sei dank) und HE zu stark zu machen von daher hab ich wenig hoffnung, dass diese änderung das spiel verbessert. die änderung wird NICHT dazu führen, dass aiming skill wieder belohnt wird (RNG wird das nach wie vor effektiv verhindern) oder dass die leute weniger HE spam einsetzen aus max-range in der closed beta war das system perfekt. aiming wurde belohnt mit konsistenten citas, HE war nicht übermäßig stark, schlechtes spiel wurde gnadenlos bestraft. das förderte bedachtes spielen, mit hirn und förderte das generelle niveau aber auch pushen! man musste nah ran und druck ausüben, um erfolgreich zu sein. heute? wenn leute 5km an einem BB vorbeifahren können, mit voller breitseite, und overpens und streuung rund ums schiff verhindern, dass solche dinge bestraft werden nur um hirnlose nicht zu vergraulen, macht das einfach keine laune mehr ich erwarte keine verbesserung von dem patch. im gegenteil. dafür hat WG mit der ständigen verschlechterung der treffer-mechaniken über die zeit seit der CBT blendend gesorgt

    yamato ist für mich unspielbar geworden. sie wurde vor 1-2 patches ge-ninja nerfed! ihre dispersion ist schlicht unkalkulierbar geworden, ebenso das eh total schwachsinnige overpen-verhalten ich spiele gar keine high tier-BBs mehr....nur noch bis T8

    its WG logic, to nerf the least damage producing class even further...... because of railsailing noobs, that complain about torps every match well done WG..... russian logic......make things worse by nerfing, instead buffing other things to counter a problem why not reduce rudder shift time of BBs? then aware captains can dodge most torps while the bad players will get hit as before.... but no....that would reward skillful play.......and this is not fitting to the company politics of WG....... edit: guess what will happen, when many switch to gearing now..... nerfhammer incomming here also..... im at benson now....fletcher near.....looking forward to the ROF-nerfes that will come for these ships soon, when more play them ;-)

    nein, weil: - das generelle gameplay immer weniger skill-rewarding geworden ist, anstatt gutes, agresives spielen zu belohnen, wird man dafür bestraft (stichwort RNG und HE-Spam) - das ship balancing nach jedem patch schlechter und schlechter geworden ist - nur generfed wird, und selten gebuffed...damit wird schiff nach schiff unspielbar gemacht. jetzt ist zum zweiten mal in folge die shima dran......bis ale die gearing spielen....dann ist die gearing dran.....danach......und dann......und dann...... - die informationspolitik ein schlechter witz ist. - eine kommunikation mit den playern nicht stattfindet und input der community schlicht ignoriert wird -> resultat......playerbase in EU zur primetime neulich UNTER 20k spieler! vor nem 3/4 jahr waren es mal 40k aktive! gut gemacht WG bestraft weiter die guten spieler und haltet die händchen derjenigen, die nur gradeaus fahren, damit diese weiter glauben, wie toll sie sind mit ihrem railsailing und hinten rumgecampe das ist sicherlich die richtige vorgehensweise....... *Kappa* der shima-torp nerf (der 2te in folge) spricht bände!

    Sims torps?

    yeah......the sims is the premium mahan....but its much worse than the stock ship..... atm i grind the US DD line to get the gearing after the shima nerf. im constantly top of the board in the mahan, even in T8/T9 matches. the mahan is a beast. 12 torps, 55kts and 9.2 km range and 5 guns with approx 15 km range.... sims is worse in every aspect. fewer guns, worse torps, higher shell arc.... its just stupid!

    the sims is the worst T7 DD.... - it did not get the US-Torp buff (still sitting at 49 kts for the 9.2 km torps, instead the normal 55kts for the mahan torps) - shell arc is horrible - concealment is crap - speed is crap seriously, there is no point in playing a sims

    statistical error....sososo...... so please tell me what a significant change in stats compared to the long term overall stats would look like.... fact is, high tier BB performance is dropping. fact is, you dont have the experience, skill and ships to judge high tier BB play at all fact is, i see a ninja nerf, compared to the high tier BB play of 2-3 months ago fact is, you suck in the shima (and thats not the last patch as reason) so what you want to tell me?
  15. früher wurde man wegen feigheit vor dem feind hingerichtet.... in wows wird man dafür belohnt das ist das ganze problem wer nach 10 minuten gameplay noch full HP hat und mich als aktivposten als noob für meinen frühen tot schimpft, sollte automatisch in kartenmitte gesetzt werden.... das wäre sicher lustig ;-)

    Montana vs Yamato

    i dont agree with the OP montana can do perfectly fine against a yamato you can do up to 15k damage with HE per salvo when u get good hits beside the fact that im no friend of symmetrical balancing (yes...yamato should be stronger than a montana in a 1on1), a montana has other perks, the yamato does NOT have. - montana is sleaker, avoiding torps better - better AA - more guns = less RNG (HUGE advantage against the atm OP cruisers) - MUCH faster turret traverse makes it the better brawler, even capable of killing DDs! when u have a look into stats of the recent past and compare montana and yamato, you will see that winrate, survivability and WTR-rate of montana is now HIGHER than that of the yamato! yamato CAN deal high damage.....yes.....but atm its dead so quick because it cannot defend itself properly......the RNG ninja nerf 2-3 patches ago did a HUGE shift in T10 BB meta the incoming accuracy buff for montana will shift this even more..... montana will be the new top choice in T10 BB battles........ montana will be king in the battlefield with 5.6....it can do well against ALL ships (except yamato), while yamato can do only well against other BBs.....

    u r a troll.......denying any argument given. u r not interested in a fruitful discussion. showing the last 2 weeks gives you A TRENT! and fact is: BBs RNG got ninja-increased 2 patches ago! in the same time other classes got buffed (fire chances, etc) result is a direct and indirect overnerf of BBs..... i play ALL classes evenly distributed.......u are a mainly DD and CV player..... so who can judge this issue better and more neutral and is not just bitching around because he fears that his main prey could become an actual threat again?
  18. strange.....i land on top of most games in any US cruiser i play.... new orleans: sneaky little [edited]......good penetrating guns baltimore: big, yes, but insane range and fire chance. can arc over any island. still agile. rekt 2 T8 BBs in a brawl fight yesterday alone. citadelled them from 2km to death......a beast...... most players just play it totally wrong or cannot predict their aim good enough. that explains the lacking stats for this ship. des moines: the close range beast! reks everything in seconds! not citadellable when angled. a DDs nightmare (visibility below radar range when skilled) i doubt you really know what you are talking about
  19. the torpedo nerf was totally unneeded. with a little bit of brain any BB can avoid most of the torps. only railsailing morons whine all day about torp walls.... nerf here, nerf there......this nerf mentality is like cancer fact is: BBs dispersion got overnerfed! DDs got overnerfed (minekaze torps down to 7km......WHY? any US DD has longer range torps now, shima torp nerf in detection range and speed) only cruisers are the new winners when BBs and DDs get nerfed....... since WG introduced HE spam and insane fire damage, this whole game became a low skill, high reward fest! HE is the true cancer of this game. hit the ship anywhere, get max reward......up to 10k HE damage with HE for high tier cruisers?! wtf! i do less damage thanks to RNG in my yamato per salvo, against full broadsiding ships! this balance gets worse with every damn patch since CBT! in CBT we had a skill play! aim right, get the reward! in ANY class! BBs were fun and scary CAs were also fun brawling.....even against BBs! DDs were the sneaky ninjas..... CVs were overpowered....and most hated ;-) now? BBs are laughable RNG machines....20% skill.....80% luck CAs are HE snipers.....boring as hell. DDs get their sneaky sneaky removed more and more..... CVs are fine in balance imho now. even they have too high alpha-strike, still..... i play all classes except CVs.....evenly balanced.....evenly good in them........but fun? i miss the fun in all classes now..... should a game not offer FUN TO PLAY instead nerfing EXACTLY this?! WG...STOP NERFING THE FUN with killing all skill from the game!

    comparison of last 2 weeks stats to overall for yamato: survivability: down by 4% damage: down 1,5k iowa: survivability: down by 3% damage: down 6k izumo: survivability: down by 2% damage: down 3k montana is the only ship, that raised in stats. while keeping survivability, it raised average XP. kept his damage output (3 more shells compared to all other T9+ BBs = compensates for bad RNG) but we all know, why you just deny any serious argument.....

    ocean....me in yamato......3 cruisers (roon, hindenburg and a hipper) focus me......me constantly burning. they just go full speed nose in towards me. no matter how i shot, max 3 hits for a max of 4880 damage. normally 1480 damage for one shell.......yeah....."overpenetration".......[edited]WG.......distance 10-15 km to these cruisers.....they should have been TOST! at least one of them.....no.....even when i got them during a turn (the roon turned away as i downed him to 10k HP after 6 or so salvos), i NEVER got a big hit......shells go all around targets......... despite the fact that a moron des moines (that just hided behind me and did nothing) did not even tried to defend me, this is just pointless.... i herewith stop playing BBs totally. funny thing: in the next match i got oneshotted in my hindenburg from an iowa from 16 km while i was driving like crazy in an infight with an hipper......so either that was a luckshot or there is something strange going on..... theory: karma influences RNG and MM my karma is normally at 0 (because players dont like to hear the truth).....so thats the only explanation for this broken mechanic.......as others seem to not have this RNG problems...... and DONT say, i cannot aim......i know how this game works/worked....
