    Well I''m sorry but in my time as a battleship captain the standard was at least 2 citadels per game. Sometimes at dumb cruisers, sometimes thou at smart ones that angled well and still got citadelled, and sometimes (in my opinion) completely unfair when I lobbed a salvo at 20+ kilometers and got 2 citadel devastating strike on an omaha that did not even see me. Im not saying that people that freely offer their broadsides to battleships should live, but maneuvering wildly, angling, sacrificing your firepower to avoid BB fire and STILL getting citadelled for over half your health cause the BB prayed to RNGesus feels like crap. Not to mention that even if a cruiser is left alone and does not have to do avoidance maneuvers, it still cannot do as much damage as a battleship.

    I don't think WoT does that. Especially now when it has competition from other titles. You can buy a tier 6 jap Tiger, Dickermax, SU-100Y for 10 EU. Tier 2 cans cost like 3 EU. Meanwhile our Mikasa here is how much? 20 EU In a bundle... There is clearly a disparity between WoT and WoWs and their business models.

    Like there aren't companies that have failed because of stupid marketing at all. Never in the world has something like that happened, right?

    Increasing CA torp spotting range is unrealistic, since BBs have higher masts and should be able to spot them earlier. Giving the sonar ability to CAs in addition to their AA panic and repair abilities might work, since they ARE meant as a jack of all trades escort class, but I still think that CA's problem is not the fact that it cant counter DDs as effectively, but the fact that BBs can counter CA's TOO effectively. The pure concept of hard counters in this game is wrong. It is bad for this game for ships to have another ship that can completely shut them down. It reduces the meaning of skill.

    With the exception that BBs can shrug off a citadel or two, cause their health pool is a lot larger than a Cruiser's. Also BBs have the advantage of being near immune to Cruiser citadel strikes, while cruiser on cruiser combat is often brutal and short. I do not know how, but Cruisers need the buff (from tier 7-8 upwards, lower tiers are somewhat balanced.) to decrease the threat of citadel hits on them. Reducing the citadel area is a start, right now a cruiser is a box full of Citadel space. In addition to that I'd like to have a redesign on how angles work when an AP shell hits a ship, so No more "I was angled but still got citadelled twice" happenings occur.

    I'd say the US DDs are specialized in hunting out other DDs. And while cruisers are also good at that, it is not their primary role, since they don't have one really.

    It is because CA role is NOT to hunt DDs down. CAs are jacks of all trades and are good at nothing except being blown up by battleships. At higher tiers even a battleship's AA is better than a CA's, even when the CA has popped his panic ability. A smart DD player (or every DD player) will always spot the CA first and will not get in his way. And a spotted CA is just food for Battleships. And even if the DD gets so unfortunate as to get in a CA's way, it can just pop smoke. In comparison, if a CA gets so unfortunate as to cross an enemy BB's path, it does not have a module that gives it a minute of invincibility. Also, for the Devastating strikes: In order for a DD or a CV to sink a BB in one go there must be a lot of factors going in their favor. Is the BB alone? does it have escorts? Is it aware that torps and bombers are coming? Does it randomly change direction or speed for no reason? Meanwhile for a BB to execute a devastating strike on a CA only RNG must be in its favor. Shells are not as easy to dodge as torps.

    Neither CA needs a buff against DDs, nor DDs need a buff themselves. Only thing I believe is that CAs need more survivability against BB Citadel penetrations.

    I hope its not true. Earliest line released in August? That would be suicide for the game. This is not WoW (ironically tho it has the same abbreviation) where you can have a year of no content.
